"All right, Son without a Father. Take good care of yourself. For now I let you go, but after this I will not make your life calm. Bear in mind that! Hey."
Nico patted Rio's shoulder for a few times. He smirked happily, while Rio didn't react. He was just silent in the drift of Nico's words earlier.
"Never mind… You guys bore me. I'm sick of seeing the faces of these poor people like you! I'd better go! There are better things I must see than you!"
His arrogance was on par with his caste. Nico's father was very high in school. No student can match Nico's arrogance as the son of the owner of the School Foundation.
After saying Nico decided to leave. Just walk away while wearing the brown glasses again.
"Just go there! After all, who wants to see you anyway. What a waste of time!" Laras cursed.
He didn't want to criticize or intend to scold Nico, but it was just that Laras couldn't contain his emotions. Naturally he was angry, because he did not accept that Rio was treated badly right in front of his eyes.
Nico stepped past Lay who had been standing at the edge of the entrance.
Both of his hands blocked Nico's steps, "Let go of your hands!" Nico snorted.
The two of them stood facing each other. The eyes continue to shine sharply, no one wants to give in or give up. Like a lion who wants to snatch prey from a tiger, Lay can't let Nico out of the classroom easily.
"I won't take my hand away! You'd better give up. I won't let you or your Master have my Prince! I won't let that!"
"Ha!" Nico felt tight. He felt the words were too much to be heard.
"You're really great Lay. I've always liked your style….," Nico patted his hand.
"You really deserve a thumbs up. In fact, I'll even give two thumbs up for you… Great!"
As he said Nico raised both his thumbs and raised his hand in front of Lay's face.
This is not a great appreciation, but it is an insult to Lay, "That's enough, stop your charade! I'm not a fool, you can fool!"
Lay snapped at him. He brushed Nico's palm roughly, pushing the thumb away from him.
"Gosh. You're so rude."
Nico was getting annoyed. He joked because Lay was so arrogant. Lay's words and actions made Nico no longer need to act.
This is not an ordinary debate, from the sharp look in their eyes they said that.
Nico brought his face close to Lay's ear, "I told you. Take good care of your Prince! Isn't he very precious to you right? Then why are you still sitting here? Do you need me to take care of him? No, right?" Nico whispered.
Lay chuckled. His eyes were big like snake fruit. He stared at Rio who was standing far away.
Lay's appearance turned worried, Nico's words were not mere nonsense for Lay. There is an implied message in this expression.
"You certainly haven't forgotten, have you, how your Master was killed 500 years ago? Do I need to remind you of that memory? A terrible night, where you won't be able to forget it."
Nico teased him, he made Lay even more nervous. His mind slowly began to be restless, there was something he was worried about.
It's true what Nico said. The past was terrible. Lay tried not to remember it, but that didn't mean he forgot it.
"Enough!"
Lay lowered his hand. He couldn't stand still as Nico's rebuke began to torment his memory.
His silence does not mean he lost. Lay doesn't fight doesn't mean he's weak.
He was silent only because Rio was here. Lay could have silenced Nico's arrogant mouth with one punch, but Lay didn't want to cause a big problem in front of Rio for now.
"You better go now! Don't force me to act unkindly in front of Rio, now!" Lay said.
"Oh, apparently you dare to threaten too… I didn't know you could threaten too?" shrieked Nico.
"Never mind. If you have nothing to do with us anymore. You better get out of my sight, or I won't think about hurting you!"
Lay said that it didn't mean he wanted to fight with Nico. But, she was just making a bluff to get Nico out of here.
Nico felt it clearly, "Okay, if that's what you want. I'll go! However, our battle isn't over yet here! Remember the full moon is only 40 days away… When the Full moon arrives, then that's when we will come and snatch the Descendant from you guys! Take good care of him!"
Nico stood parallel to Lay. His expression was not a mere attack, and it was not necessarily something that could frighten Lay.
Nico took another step and stood with his back to Lay, but before he could go any further Lay said, "Prepare your strength! If you want to take the Descendant from us then take it. But don't blame us, if your lives are at stake!"
"Hmm!" Nico left with an annoyed face. Lay won this debate.
Even though they are still teenagers, there is a secret that many people don't know. Age is just a number, but who would have guessed that both Lay and Nico were hundreds of years old?
"Lay!" shouted Laras and Rio.
The two of them ran to Lay who had just been talking strangely with Nico.
"Friends."
Lay turned into an ordinary teenager who was sweet and gentle. He is no longer as serious as he was when Nico was still around, now Lay's attitude has drastically changed to his normal self.
"What did that Arrogant Boy say to you? I noticed that you always act differently when you're around him?" Laras asked suspiciously.
He had such great curiosity. During the 10 minutes they talked earlier, Laras felt that there was something strange about every sentence of Lay and Nico as a whole. According to Laras?
"What do you mean? I don't understand? Nothing different from us. We were just talking as usual, nothing more."
Lay refused. He dismissed Laras' question that had just been thrown.
"No way. I feel like you guys are different… Isn't that right, Rio?"
He elbowed Rio, "Right!" said Rio when Laras elbow punched his hip.
"It's true what Laras said… I agree with you this time. Looks like you and Nico have another relationship than a friend?"
Asked Rio again. Lay was cornered, he was nervous and confused how to explain it?
He couldn't possibly be telling the truth now.
"It's not time for you to know yet, Prince."
His heart said so. Lay had to think fast, so Laras and Rio couldn't suspect him anymore.
"Sorry guys. I have to go first… I have things to do. I just remembered, I have to look for books in the library! I'll go first. Bye!"
Lay in a hurry. He didn't seem to be hiding everything from Laras and Rio. He left the classroom with a run, and didn't say another word.
"Lay!" called Rio.
No matter how loud Rio shouts, Lay won't even listen to him.
"Are you thinking, as I think?" Laras said to Rio.
There was nothing wrong with what Laras said, "Looks like they have something to hide? But what?"
Rio recalled how Nico had said earlier, "For now maybe you're just a human, but not for later. I'll make sure, we'll take everything you have!"
Rio was thinking hard what did Nico mean earlier?
"Taking everything from me! And I'm not a human!" thought Rio.
It's like a riddle that is difficult for him to solve, "Lay must know the meaning!" Rio snarled.
"What do you mean?" Laras said.
He heard Rio's words, then asked curiously.
"Sorry Laras. Looks like I have to ask Lay. Only he knows the answer," said Rio.
"Hmm?" Laras muttered confused.
"I'll go first. We'll meet again here! Bye…."
"Eeeh," said Laras.
No matter how much he endured it, Rio still went and ran instead. I don't know what Adi said, it was clear that he was in a hurry to find out something.
"Ah… What a boy. Everything is so Mystery. Do they think they are the only ones who have Secrets? I have them too. Of course you are strange. Secrets, why are you hiding," he poisoned.
"If there really is a secret, it should be revealed, not played around like this… It's strange," Laras quipped.
He'd rather go to his chair and sit there, than think about what's none of his business.
Open open and learn, because that is the duty of a student.
