The Alpha's family sat at the head of the table followed by the Beta Family which was mine then the Delta, Salutary, Sentinel followed by the others. Alpha Cameron began by thanking us all for being here then ordered for all of us to eat. After the dinner it was time for business. The Alpha told us all that finding our mate would be the best thing ever. We would be able to identify them by their scents and our animal spirits would cry out to them. We would feel a pull towards them and after finding our mate we should mark them almost immediately. Mating our wolfs would mark them to us for eternity. You and your mate would be able to feel each others emotions, you can heal each other and of course talk telepathically to each other. We were also informed that a dance would be held by us and different packs since its not always that our mates would be in the same pack as you. If your mate is in another pack and said mate would have to choose which pack to belong to.
I barely listened to this nonsense because I know that I would never have or even find a mate. Who wants a fat she-wolf like me. My mate would be disgusted by me and reject me right there and then. I'm not sure I can go through that type of pain so I'd rather just be by myself. The day I had been dreading for the most had come. It was Monday and the first day of school after summer break. It's not like I can refuse to go to school or dare I say even skip school, my mom would find out almost immediately and have my head after. Naa can't risk that. I got out of bed brushed my teeth, took a shower and put on some clothes. I always came to school early, it was the safest thing. The popular girls and guys don't come to school early which meant that in the mornings the bullying was always minimized. My first class of the day was Chemistry and I just headed to the lab grabbed my coat and took my seat. All my morning classes went well so I just headed to the cafeteria to grab my launch and head out. I didn't eat my launch in the cafeteria with the others to avoid any bullies. I pulled my hoodie up to cover my whole head put my hand in my pockets lowered my head and stood in line for my meal. Just when it was almost my turn to grab my food I heard a voice I was all to familiar with. It was Ember, the Delta's eldest daughter and Czar's girlfriend. She had long thick black her that went all the way to her waist, dark brown eyes that looked at me coldly, a pale complexion that couldn't go out without sunscreen and of course a model like physique with long legs and small nose. She was beautiful no doubt about it but her character was as ugly as well the ugliest thing you could ever think of. She shouted from the other side of the room "Hey Fat Leo why are you hogging all the food. Aren't you fat already do you really need to eat all the food and become even fatter?" She walked towards me and said "Ugly and fat people like you are a waste of space so why not just leave already. Are you sure your even a werewolf? " I couldn't say anythin g and just stood there dumbfounded. My wolf spirit Rain was ready to shift and pounce on her, tearing all her limbs and making her cry out in pain and begging for our mercy but I had to control her even though I also wanted to do same. I had to get out of there before I did anything bad and fast.
