Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

"I-I just thought I could surprise you..." Jason's expression fell that Annah felt bad. Maybe he was just thinking of her all this time. He's been busy as the prefect and yet he spared her a time for this kind of surprise.

"I'm sorry. I'm just overwhelm really." Annah said.

"I understand. We've been very busy lately. In Korea, I wont even participate as the prefect anymore. I want to spent more time with you. You know, bond and all." Jason smiled.

"Yeah?" Annah smiled to him.

Jason stood up and joined her in the bed. "I've missed you terribly, little peanut. I don't think I can be prefect anymore." he said and kissed her on the lips.

For Annah, she'll have so many to sacrifice in leaving England Interbreed Academy but for the sake of their relationship, she'll let them go without question.

"So, you're going with me?" Jason asked gently while she Annah beamed at him before she nodded cheerfully.

"Good. That's my baby right there." Jason hugged her and caressed her back.

"So, when do we leave?" Annah asked.

"Now."

"N-now? I haven't even pack yet." Annah protested.

Jason cupped her cheeks together and gave a peck to her lips to shut her up. "I'll take care of everything in here. I won't want you tired out in mere packing, sweetheart."

"B-but..."

"Shhh...just follow my lead, okay?" Jason cooed. "Let's go."

Annah had no choice but to let Jason led her out the room at once, leaving her unkept bed, the books in the bed and the unwashed cup of their teas.

"Annah, you wont believe what I'm about to say to you. I'm literally shaking like-" Maine stopped from blabbering words when she saw no one was on the dorm. "Annahelia?"

Placing her things back her own bed, she saw Annah's bed was filled with books and even had unwashed cup of teas in the bedside and in the wooden table.

She leaned over the cup in the round table and touched the cup. It felt a little warm. Maybe Annah will be back in a minute since that friend of hers was a pristine woman who wont even tolerate a little disarray in a room before she would left to school or anywhere.

To find her bed in such condition was a first. Sitting on the couch, Maine looked to her phone in which she chatted to various sources to check on Jason's cheating.

True to Ricco's words, Jason had been shagging four different hybrids behind Annah's back. One even came from the school prefects. That cheater managed to hide it good from Annah's knowledge all along. Dufus Jason will have his share one day. If Annah will end up killing him, Maine wont even batt an eyelash.

It was almost three in the afternoon when Maine had to leave the dorm to attend the Manipulation class of professor Toc. Maybe Annah had to run to the library awhile ago and then proceed to her next class directly.

Getting inside the class for Manipulation, Maine's frown got deeper when she didn't see a single trace of Annah in there. That little rabbit wont even think about attending late to one of Toc's lessons. But Professor Toc came in and demanded them to open their books to some page that Maine didn't catch.

She was quite puzzled on Annah's absence. Without meaning to, Maine turned to Ricco's direction who had the same wondering expression to his face as he directed his eyes to the empty door, as if expecting someone to come in.

"Stop spacing out, Maine." Toc called out when she appeared to be not listening to his discussion.

"Sorry, professor." Maine just said.

"On the other note, the other candidate for apprenticeship withdrawn." Professor Toc announced.

"Who?" Ricco raised.

"Your partner, Ricco." Toc answered in nonchalant attitude.

"What?" Ricco and Maine voiced out at the same time. It's impossible. Annah had been dreaming of being an apprentice to Toc. She can't just withdraw like that.

"On what reason, professor?" Maine asked while some of the students were talking in low voices now.

"She's transferring to another academy across country, Maine. Now stop asking for I have a module to finish in this class." Professor Toc turned to the blackboard.

No. There wasn't a single thing that Maine learned from the class for she was busy recalling any conversation she had with Annah. But her head ached in return for she can't remember Annah ever mentioning on transferring academy at all.

After class, Maine had no regard of everyone in the classroom as she got out there fast, sprinting towards the school registrar. Her feet halted in a little distance after seeing Ricco made it there first, bending on the glass window for inquiries. She saw how his face darkened at the desk officer's response before he stormed away from there.

Maine couldn't careless for Ricco's rage and the anxiousness of purebloods following behind him as she stepped to his way.

"Where is she?" Maine asked Ricco.

"Korea." Ricco answered shortly before trying to leave there.

"She didn't mention about transferring."Maine followed up.

"It's not her." Ricco growled under his breath and kicked the poor trash bin in the hallway.

"Then who?" Maine braved herself before Basik answered her.

"That pathetic loser boyfriend of hers."

"Jason." Maine said in disbelief. "What a phony maggot."

It'd been three weeks since Annah transferred to Korea Interbreed Academy. The students numbers were flocking all around globe, both purebloods and hybrids like her.

There were many competent professors too and learning was always fun in there. She didn't have to go to dorm since she alway went home after classes for the day. She could taste her mom's home cook and tell stories to her dad about the events in the school.

It was perfect really. Almost.

But Annah missed England Interbreed Academy.

Her friends and Maine.

Oh yeah, there was no like other professor Toc when it comes to Manipulation class. He was very exceptional. Sometimes, she began to regret withdrawing from EIA but what Jason did for her was of great help to her family's financial situation. Her mom wont need to work double shift for many days at the hospital while her dad wont need to work on weekends at the Department of Night Society.

Now, Korea Interbreed Academy or KIA was celebrating its welcoming of the exchange students invited from across countries.
