Jzyndae didn't have a chance. It was so abrupt, I don't think anyone in his position really could have done anything. He was too close, and way too unprotected.
In hindsight, if I was doing my job correctly, I would have demanded him to back off, to wait, to put up his defenses, something. They say, however, hindsight is twenty twenty. Essentially, that means that you can always see what you should have done after it's too late.
"GRAWWWWWRRRR!!!" the bear-like beast roared as it broke free from its final chain and lunged forward and back handed Jzyndae.
He flew for about fifteen meters and down a mountain ravine. I was absolutely certain of his fate. There's no way someone could have survived that, but, not I, nor anyone of us had time to feel anything about it.
