"Don't talk like that as if I want this to happen," Raymart responded. He opened the window wide, almost thinking of jumping down just to escape but he remembered that they are currently on the third floor of the bungalow.
"I feel like there's a jinx that's inevitable as long as we're together," Marigold pondered and instead of worrying a lot, she just sat down on a couch. If she already felt drowsy, she could sleep there too.
"Maybe you're the jinx," Raymart hissed.
"Hey! That's probably you because of your arrogance!" Marigold yelled and rolled her eyes later on.
"You're also arrogant too, and undeniably ambitious. Why did you even accept this assignment when you're just a newbie marketing staff? This kind of project is also not in your job description," Raymart unenthusiastically replied and later on, he just sat down on a bedside.
