Raymart and Marigold decided to eat dinner at a restaurant with a view in the town where they were staying.
"Thank you for the treat," Marigold said, her gaze fixed on her own plate.
"Don't worry," Raymart said quickly. "Their fried noodles, on the other hand, are delicious."
"Totally. It was a topnotch."
Raymart grinned and simply focused on his own dish. After that, he asked Marigold to have a coffee before they go back to the bungalow where they are staying.
"It's very rare for a person who loves to have coffee at night. Maybe, that's our common denominator," Marigold said while sipping her own coffee.
"Well, this place is good for a coffee because it's also cold here," Raymart replied, pausing briefly as he remembered something.
"Marigold..."
"Yes?" Marigold raised her brows slightly as she looked at him.
"We'll be back in Manila tomorrow; don't sleep until you finish the report, okay?" Raymart reminded Marigold.
