Marigold was nervous on her second day at work. She was also hesitant to greet Paula, who was frowning and staring at her computer.
"Hello, good morning to you, Ms. Paula," she still said to the grumpy woman, before shifting her gaze to Marigold a few minutes later.
"You're not good at following instructions; why did you even get the job? Didn't you know I had to re-do your finished tasks yesterday because there were a lot of errors?" Paula complained angrily.
"I'm sorry, it was only my first day of work yesterday, but if there's anything wrong with my task, you can just tell me directly instead of getting angry," Marigold replied, trying to show her bravery in front of her superior.
"Now, you're complaining at me? Who do you think you are, huh? Even though you passed the interview, it doesn't mean that you're fit for the job," Paula hissed.
