"Unfortunately, we hired someone who's more qualified than you. You may re-apply for the next 30 days."
Marigold threw her phone away after receiving a text message from an employer stating that she was ineligible for the office job she had applied for.
"Is this my retribution for lying to Raymart and extorting money from him?" she sighed furtively.
Her phone chimed with a bill payment reminder alert. She sighed once more.
"I'm really just surviving to pay the bills!" she grumbled. But she was even more startled when she received another text message from the bank.
"What the hell happened? Why did I get this text message indicating I paid for a gown costing ten thousand pesos?"
She got out of bed and dressed herself. She needs to authenticate her bank transactions since she suspects her bank account has been hacked.
