"My grandson and I are here to apologize for the bad behavior he showed you. I beg your pardon because he's just nervous right now and doesn't know how to start apologizing."
More than five minutes of silence was broken when Lola Chanda spoke first while she was with Raymart to confront Marigold and her parents.
"Madam, why are you talking? Doesn't your grandson have a mouth? And why did he get worse?" Marigold's father asked sarcastically.
The old woman just smiled. "My grandson is really like that, he's just tense because he's sincere in his apology. He'll do everything just so that they can get along with your son because he really loves Marigold."
She stood up in the seat. She wanted to object to what Lola Chanda was saying but she didn't want her to think she was rude.
'You really use your grandmother, Javiera! Get ready for me!'
She gave a deadly glare to him. In her mind she was already beating Raymart who was still glancing and smiling slightly.
"Madam, I just want to clarify why we are facing each other now. What is this setup?" Marigold's mother asked. It was as if she sensed something else in Mrs. Chanda's conversation today.
"Is this just an apology? Why did you bring more food and gifts for us?"
Raymart shook hands with his head.
'I know it's just a gimmick but why am I suddenly nervous?'
"My grandson wants to ask you for Gold's hand. He wants everything to be formal and to prove he's not joking about the love he feels."
"Huh?"
Marigold was even more taken aback by Mrs. Chanda's revelation. For sure it was done by Raymart.
He suddenly remembered what it said 'we're not done yet'.
"You want it to happen so fast. Admit it to us Marigold! Are you pregnant? You're already like that just because Jack broke your heart?" His father's voice showed anger again.
"Pa! Of course not! You knew before that I would not give myself to someone who is not my husband yet!" She answered boldly because that was the truth and she had nothing to fear about it.
"I really love your daughter, Sir. I want to marry her," Raymart said bravely, doubling Marigold's shock.
"Marry me Marigold"
"Marry my grandson, Marigold."
Marigold's parents suddenly smiled.
"All right, get married."
Like a broken plaque the word "marriage" was repeated from their mouths.
Marigold was thrown back on the bed when she woke up in a strange dream.
"It's just a dream. But it seems real to me." Marigold was gasping for air. Is it her karma for fooling around with Raymart when she returned his phone?
'How many times have you visited my dream, Javiera, have you even defeated the ghost?' She was suddenly shaken. She didn't know if she would be happy or annoyed, that dream caused a shiver. Who knows? There may even be a possibility that she will marry Raymart.
'Here I am. Assuming things for the nth time.'

Meanwhile, Raymart was still upset with the fact that Marigold fooled him for the sake of money when she returned his company phone.
"Scamming and lying seemed to be her way of hustling. I pity that kind of woman like her."
He sighed and went straight to the kitchen. There, he found Mrs. Chanda didn't feel sleepy at all even though it's late at night.
"Why are you staying here? I bet you ate what's not good for your health here while you're also trying to hoard some food to your room," Raymart jokes to his grandmother.
"Hey, how dare you chastise your own grandmother, huh?" Mrs. Chanda reprimanded her grandson.
"I'm only kidding. By the way, I've chosen not to marry anymore," Raymart said abruptly, which surprised Mrs. Chanda.
"Is it only because Clarize dumped you? I'd like to see my future grandson with you. And, to be honest, I really want someone like Marigold to be your wife," Mrs. Chanda stated solemnly.
"That opportunistic woman should not have been a part of our lives." "I hope I never see her again." Raymart sighed, clearly disgusted.
"Would you mind telling me what happened that made you dislike her so much?"
"You wouldn't believe it, but I lost my company phone. Marigold didn't tell me that she was the one who got my phone and I just left it in their house in order to extort money from me, it was seven thousand pesos! She faked her voice while talking to me. See? That's why I'm skeptical of that woman from the beginning," Raymart revealed.
"But maybe Marigold has a reason for doing that. You can't just detest her easily without knowing her side, and we are also aware that she came from a middle-class family and that living was difficult nowadays due to our country's economic crisis," Mrs. Chanda replied, defending Marigold.
"At the very least, she should be honest with me instead of doing that. I really don't like her attitude. She's trying to be fierce and pretentious, and I loathe her," Raymart sighed.
"I suppose she has reasons; let her explain first, and I'll contact her to arrange for us to meet," Mrs. Chanda said.
"No way. I don't want anything to do with her," Raymart stated as he prepared to leave her grandmother. "Goodnight."
"Stop being obstinate, my grandson; if you don't want your parents to set you up on a date, you should learn to compromise, okay?" Mrs. Chanda told Raymart.
"Please, grandma, don't bring up my parents' plans for my marriage. First and foremost, they shouldn't meddle in this because, as far as I know, they abandoned me when I was in high school under your supervision. I am the ignored son of this family," Raymart said bitterly, and Mrs. Chanda simply shook her head.
"My grandson, even though you despise your parents, they still had their reasons why they left you under my guidance. But for now, you shouldn't have to know anything."
