Marigold finally felt her husband's lips kiss her as she clung to his arms tightly. The longer they kissed, the more she tasted the sweet coffee in his mouth. She gasped for air as soon as she regained consciousness, and she quickly moved away from him.
"Hey, I'm sorry if I came across as aggressive; I didn't mean—"
"Stop apologizing, we should just keep going," he said, smiling as he kissed her again with love and gentleness.
They were kissing each other until they finally reached the room, and they distanced themselves for a while because they were both gasping for air.
"I feel impulsive, but thank you for liking me back," Marigold sweetly explained.
"Does that mean you're finally at ease sleeping next to me?" he asked calmly.
Marigold raised her head. "Just let me sleep in bed while you sleep on the couch."
"Hey! That's a foul. Why won't you just let me stay beside you since we both liked each other?" Raymart sulked his lips, still not convinced of Marigold's actions.
