Marigold was unmotivated when she came back to the hotel room of the resort. There, she found her parents and she quickly hugged them.
"Where have you been, Marigold? And why are you crying?" Mrs. Cruz asked her daughter.
"I had to unwind for a while, I had to clear my mind," Marigold uttered. The sadness of her voice was very understated.
"Did you and your husband fight? It's obvious that you cried. Tell us what happened?" Mr. Cruz intervened to comfort his daughter.
"Raymart and his ex-girlfriend finally reunited…"
"Huh? What? Is that even possible? Did he cheat on you?" Mrs. Cruz was suddenly in rage upon her own assumptions.
"His ex-girlfriend is the chosen endorser for his dad's convenient store here in Natividad," Marigold revealed with a solemn voice.
