"Ice…"
The fireball shot out from his hand, disintegrating her upper half, but not before a gigantic icicle emerged out of the ground and slice him in the torso, almost cutting him into two. "Rise…" With that, the two was sent out right at the same time. With four contestants left in the arena, two for each team, the fight had reached its final stage.
"Yaaaaargh-" Brook screamed as the elephant man grab him by his waits with his trunk, swaying him, trying to gain enough momentum before tossing him away. "Sorry!" With a splat, he turned into a splash of liquid, some entered the elephant's nose while some even entered his eyes. Out of pain and anger he swung as hard as he could and managed to toss Brook away as far as he could, pushing him out of the ring.
"Hah!" Upon seeing this, Sparky smiled menacingly, two against one, this should be easier than he thought. "Huh? Huuuh…" The elephant started to wobble, before suddenly collapsing to the ground with a thud, almost squashing his teammate beside him. "What! What the!?" Sparky approached to check, but realise he was poisoned. His eyes sore red, swollen, while his mouth bubbling with foam. It was within seconds before her was knocked out, too. "Hell yeah!" Brook cheered outside of the ring. "Mercury, baby! The best metal ever!"
"It's me and you, then." Rain shrugged, raising up his hands as the gravitational gloves glowed dimly. "You think you could defeat me that easily, punk?" Sparky laughed out. "You couldn't even hurt me." "I will." "Oh, then I would like to see you try." He open his hands wide, letting himself open from all side. "I gave you thirty seconds." He spoke softly. "Hit me." His eyes glare at him lightly, insulting him.
"Moon…" He waved his hands, the glove shine brightly as purple strings circled around him, forming a cage. His instakill skill, if this doesn't work, nothing will. "Fall!" He waved his hands down, just like last time, the gravity was turned off temporary for a few seconds before suddenly pressing him down like being squashed by a hydraulic press. With a gigantic thud, the entire ground beneath him sank, creating a gigantic crater, even larger than last time. This is it, if he survived this, there is no way he could stand a chance against this bastard.
"Huh, huh, huh…" After what seems like ten seconds of non-stop crushing, over and over, he finally worn off completely as his legs soften and he fell to the ground beneath him. He stare at the crater, there is no one in it. If he survived that crush, where is he then. "Did, did I won?" He asked himself, when the crowds were about to cheer, when the announcer is about to declare the winner, everyone of them heard a flicker. As electricity began emerging from the cracks within the crater, forming a humanoid form.
"This, is the gap between us." The man walked out of the crater, his body shining brightly, electricity circulated in his veins. He is like a god like existence, he is unkillable, untouchable, he is, inevitable. "That's why I am Rank one, Sparky…" He approached Rain, who is already shrouded in desperation.
"Any last words?" He asked out.
"Yes." He lifted his head and glare at him. "Fuck you," He raised his hand up, and pointed at the final uncaptured flag of the entire arena. "Gravity pole!" With that, he managed to pulled himself across the map. He stood in the area, pressing his hand onto the pole in the middle of the area, capturing it. "No, you don't!" Sparky formed into electricity before zooming towards him. And at this state, Rain was struggling within him. What should he do? Let go? Or keep staying? He didn't even stand a slightest chance against him. And if he managed to capture all the treasures, he will win! His dignity, everyone's hope is on his one and only decision right now.
To run, or holding on.
"The good news is that with it, we can fight a little more bravely and play some risky moves since this is pretty much a game"
"I will be holding on."
"No!" I literally bashed through the door of the stadium with my shoulder right at the moment Sparky approached Rain. "No! Stop!" I shouted, he didn't budge as he closed his eyes, placing his hand firmly on the scanner. So close, so close, so close… Soon her will win this match, his friends will be proud of him, his high school life will be much more easier, they will get the dignity and attention they deserved…
"GET OUT OF THERE!!!"
The moment Sparky touched him; he literally lights up like a light bulb. "ONE MILLION WATTS!" He screamed maniacally, too late. I am too late, time, with all these time I couldn't do anything. There are only one rule and restriction with my ability. I couldn't bring back the dead, those loops I had it the moment before the let out their last breath, but this one. The moment I realise this fucked up situation, the moment I tried to rewind time, it is already all too late.
He is already dead.
"…!" Hanna covered her mouth as she gasped, staring at the close-up projection on the screen. Of her students being electrocuted till death. He let out scream, but still didn't refuse to let go. It was until the final flag was captured, it was until he was already burnt, then he let go of his hand. Sparky stood at there, dumbfounded, staring at his burnt corpse, black like charcoal, sizzling in smoke. He didn't expected this, did, did he just, killed someone? "!!!" Hanna kneeled to the ground, crying, her mouth open wide. She hoped she could scream, she hoped she could cry, she hoped she would at least call out his name. But nothing, nothing came out.
"I, I am sorry…" Will stood up from the chair before kneeling down. "I, I am really sorry, Hana" He approached her, but she pushed him away, before dashing out of the room, leaving him alone. He stare at the red spider lily mark on his shoulder, he had hated this thing so much. Because of this, she hated her. Because of this, she lost her voice. Because of this, he lost himself. He is now just a puppet in strings, controlled, toyed…
