"RAIN!!!" I shouted before rushing down the stage. I jolted among the seats, before grabbing Hizuki along the way, you needed a doctor to bring him back. "S.P.L.I.T!" With one hand I grabbed Hizuki by the waist while with other I raised up my katana and chop it towards the shield protecting the arena. With a gigantic clash, cracks began to appear on the surface of the shield, before finally shattering into pieces.
"Rain! You hear me!?" I rushed towards him, letting go of Hizuki. Hizuki immediately hop on the act, wearing a rubber glove before reaching towards his chest. "What are you trying to do?" Sparky who is standing beside us asked. "Shut up and call the ambulance." Hizuki ordered, with a soft glow her hand phased through Rain's body and towards his heart. "W-what are you doing?" Sparky asked, confused and terrorized at the same time.
"She is trying to undergo a heart reboot." I explained. "Now fucking do the call, right now!" "Alright" He immediately took his phone and began dialling. "Come on…" Hizuki prayed in her heart as she grab onto his heart and began to squeeze and release it in a rhythmic fashion. "Come on…." I grabbed onto his burnt, stiff hands, praying. His friends all swarmed into the arena, some gasping seeing his situation, some couldn't control but to tear up. "Alright I got this" After some time, Rain let out a huge gasp, his chest began moving as he breathed very weakly. Hizuki let out a satisfied smile before taking out a syringe and injected into his body. "Morphine." She replied simply. This pain is too much for him to bear, he might end up passing up once more. And right at that time, the ambulance arrived.
Twenty students took the seat outside of the surgery room, waiting for the result. Some even asleep, leaning on the shoulder of their friends after waiting for an entire night. Hizuki is still busy working in it alongside other surgeons. I bit my finger, pacing up and down the hallway. The students all look worried, there is no joy or happiness regarding their success. Hana cuddled up in the corner of the room, whimpering. The rest didn't care about her, they may forgive her, but this time she had over done it. "Creak-" The door was pushed open as Hizuki and other two doctors exited the room. "How is he?" I asked, worried. I couldn't afford of him getting hurt or anything, he is my student.
"He is alright." The other doctor answered. "All thanks to your friend here, it is quite successful, she sure got magical hands." The other laughed. "He is already awake; you can meet with him right now." "Thank you!" I gave Hizuki a hug as I grabbed her by the waist and did a full turn, laughing out. "I owe you this!" With that I placed her down and headed into the room, the rest followed behind me.
"Hey mummy." I joked. "Fuck you." Rain cursed, rolling his eyes as he laid on the bed, his body wrapped up completely in bandage. "We win, right?" He asked out. "Yeah, we win." I answered. He let out a yes, leaping out of his bed before proceeds to groan. "Hey calm down cowboy." I approached and pull him back into a comfy spot. "The biological human skin need some time to fully grow." "Come on, I wanted to celebrate." He complained. "We will be celebrating tonight." I promised. "I got a pretty nice bar to hook you up with. Just that they didn't welcome mummies." I boop his nose, he acted like he was trying to bite off my finger. The rest of the students laughed out; we are all happy, happy that he is alright. Hana stood behind the crowd, upon seeing that he is alright, she let out a sigh of relief before leaving.
"Ryuki…" Hana thought as she lean on the metal safety bars on the balcony of the hospital. It was quite windy here, snowflakes rained down onto her body, she felt chilly. But she couldn't return back, she didn't dare to return. She is no teacher; she didn't have the courage to face them. She wrapped the scarf across her neck to keep herself warm. "…!" Unintentionally, she touched the red spider lily mark in between his throat and chest, causing her to jolt a bit. "Creak-" Just then the door towards the balcony was swung open, alerted, she turned her head towards me.
"You alright?" I look at her, she seems quite shaken. She nodded, before shaking her head. "You, okay?" I approached her to take a look, but she pushed me away before dashing towards to the stairs, trying to make a run for it. But instead, she slipped due to the frozen water beneath her feet and fall to the ground. "…!" If all she is at the verge of a mental breakdown, that fall is all it takes to make her completely lose it. She began whimpering, shaking before crying silently. Tears rolled down her cheek, guilt, pain and conflict mixed in every single one of them.
I stood there and stare, before approaching her and carried her up. She still tried to push me away with her petite hands, but I didn't budge. I grab onto one of her hands and take a look at it, indeed, it is frostbitten. I open my mouth and sucked on it gently, wrapping my tongue on it, warming it out a little. She yelped, her face redder than before, but she didn't resist, looking at me cleaning it up attentively. "Come on" I whispered after finishing all ten of them, taking off my scarf and wrapped it on her hands. "It is getting cold out here."
"…" She stayed silent as the two of us seat in the cafeteria, I handed her one of the two cup of coffee in my hand. She nodded her head. "Thank you" "Nothing much." I shrugged. "Y, you, you didn't feel mad about me?" She finally asked. "Why would I?" I take a sip out of my cup of hot bitter goodness. "You are not the one who causes these, right? It was all that man." "No" She shook her head. "It was not Ryuki." "Ryuki?" I raised an eyebrow, confused. "That guy is Ryuki? Ryuki Sou!? An once admiral of the GFD!?" I stood up and asked, exaggerated. She nodded slowly, I approached her and grabbed her shoulder.
"What happened to him."
