Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 A Small Steamed Bun

"I'll keep your ID card for now until I figure out how to make you work as an ox and a horse. Then I'll return it to you."

He just raised his eyebrows and glanced at Cherish Turner's ID card before putting it into the inner pocket of his clothes.

Cherish pitifully watched her ID card being confiscated by this big demon king, her heart truly unwilling.

"Miss Turner, is it?"

William Griffith knowingly asked.

"Um..." Cherish had a look of resigning herself to her fate.

"Alright, you go home today. I'm a little busy and won't bother you anymore. Escort her out."

As he said this, he stopped looking at her, as if Cherish carried some sort of germ that disgusted him.

"Then... when does Mr. Griffith plan to return my ID card?"

"Hm?" A certain someone sharply raised his eyes, scaring Cherish into quickly retracting her little claws.

But her mouth was still unwilling, "Well, people always have their uses..." Besides, wouldn't she need her ID card to book a flight?

She still wanted to go to Kyoto!

"Before resolving this matter, your ID card will not be returned to you for safekeeping."

William Griffith seemed to be in a good mood, mocking her and feeling quite refreshed.

It wasn't until he saw Benjamin Solomon escorting her away that William Griffith's gaze became deeper.

He took out the ID card from his pocket.

The girl in the photo looked quite young. This picture must have been taken when she was seventeen or eighteen, looking just like the her from his memories.

He sighed and put away the ID card, then spotted the inflatable doll lying in the corner.

This girl! He didn't know what else she sold in her little store, but if there were any male adult products, he really wanted to burn them all down!

He then took out his phone and dialed a number.

The other side quickly picked up.

"Young Master?" The voice on the phone was Nanny Wilson from his home.

"Where is Lewis?"

"Little Master is painting in his room. I'll get him to come to the phone immediately." As she spoke, Nanny Wilson put down the landline receiver and went to call "Little Master."

A little dumpling was painting in the living room, where besides him were the kid's great-grandfather, William Griffith's grandfather, Robert Griffith.

Robert Griffith held a high position in the military, and the Griffith Family was a legitimate red aristocracy, so the Griffith Family's status in Haicheng was even more prominent among wealthy families.

"Old Master, Young Master is calling for Little Master."

"What could he have going on? Our little Lewis is learning to paint with me right now! No time to deal with him!"

Robert Griffith was also a very stubborn old child, especially when he had his grandson with him, he was naturally happiest!

William Griffith's phone call now really dampened his enthusiasm.

But the little guy actually got up from the cushion and ran to Nanny Wilson's feet in a jiffy, then turned to his great-grandfather with a sweet smile and said, "Great-grandfather, I'll just be gone for a little while, I promise I'll be right back!"

That adorable little look made everyone who saw him like him.

"Fine, fine, go!"

The little guy picked up the phone, completely excited!

He must have received the gift he sent to his father!

"Dad!"

When William Griffith heard his son's voice, he raised the corner of his mouth but looking at the thing in the corner, he really felt that this little brat needed some proper discipline!

Before William Griffith got a chance to speak, the lively brat spoke again:

"Dad! Is the inflatable doll I bought for you useful?"

Heh, it turns out that it was indeed his little rascal's doing!
