With the horde of the undead slowly coming towards them. Kiyoshi approached Jin seemed too overwhelmed by the experience dropping to his knees and placing his swords on the ground.
"Are you ok? One minute you seem ready for battle now you looked defeated." Kiyoshi remarked looking down at Jin and waiting for him to reply.
"No am not. I knew these men. I watched them die and could do anything to save them. Now you wanted me to kill them again that bitch I will never forgive her for this. But I just can't kill them a second time my guilt wouldn't let me. Please understand." Jin replied as tears streamed from his eyes.
"Don't you worry I will finish this in seconds just sit there and watch." Shouted Kiyoshi as his sword suddenly was set ablaze, to the shock and disbelief of Jin.
With lightning speed, Kiyoshi rushed toward the horde.
"What move are you going use on them?" Lilly asked. "The Doragonfenikkusuu~orutsu." Kiyoshi replied he cut through the horde of the undead in a serpent-like fashion which created a flaming dragon. Then as Kiyoshi stood behind the horde he brought down his flaming sword which created a phoenix-like wave of fire that destroyed the remaining undead.
As the undead burn and turn into ash the scent of Sage fills the air as they turn back into nothing. With their ashes glowing green into the sky like fireflies. As the flames die down Jin stares at the glowing ashes reminiscing on the time he spent with his following huntsmen. Saddened by the fact that he couldn't stop them from dying and has failed to avenge them as yet.
A gentle breeze blows the glowing ashes onto Jin causing the heartbroken hunter to smile as he feels the warm embrace of his fallen friends. Kiyoshi turns to the enchanted forest knowing that this won't be the last time he sees Deliah before making his way back to Jin.
Kiyoshi pulls Jin back onto his feet and the two men look for a quiet place to talk.
As evening sets and the two men have finished their conversation, Kiyoshi remarks on how everything is not how it seems. A lesson he seems to forget quite often on his travels. Jin laughs agreeing with the samurai that it is a hard lesson to remember as they drink sake under an old cherry blossom tree. With the light of day fading into night, the two men shake hands and go their separate ways. Jin heads into the enchanted forest after Deliah and Kiyoshi heads in the opposite direction awaiting orders from Sairon on his next mission.
As Kiyoshi heads back to the nearby town to settle in for the night a glow appears from his left pocket. It's his communication stone, Kiyoshi quickly pulls it out and answers it. Sairon appears asking the young samurai how his day went and the two engaged in a long and deep conversation that lasted for hours. Like a father talking to his son whom he hasn't seen in years.
Before leaving the call Sairon gave Kiyoshi the details of his new mission and advised him that after his new mission is completed that he is to return home as they have something important to discuss. Kiyoshi nods his head before bidding his master farewell.
Kiyoshi sits on the ground outside the hotel that he and Deliah were in the night before. I was closed and doors and windows blocked off as Deliah had killed the old lady who owned the place the night before. Kiyoshi rests his back on the corner of the building and looks up into the night sky before praying for the soul of the old lady and all that Deliah had killed the night before.
" Gods and Goddess of this land please forgive the wrongdoings of the souls that were lost by Deliah's hands. Place their punishments for their sins upon my shoulders as if it wasn't for me bringing Deliah to this peaceful and loving place. They may have had time to right their wrongs and ask forgiveness. Thou I may be a foul creature in your eyes and Kingdom of light shall never be my home. I will take the burden for those that deserve the chance at forgiveness. For even I a cursed being recognize injustice and wickedness and beg for those who cannot beg for themselves."
After praying Kiyoshi gently rested his hand on the walls of the hotel and fell asleep. Early the next morning as the sun shone over the town, people from the town arrived at the hotel to pay their respect to the old lady but when they arrived they were meet dozens of white roses. And Kiyoshi was long gone heading towards his new destination.
