The next day Kiyoshi finds himself in a place called the Enchanted Forest. Which was given the name because of the mystical creatures that inhabit the forest. From Centaurs to pixies, a lot of mystical and rare creatures call this forest their home. A Kiyoshi tracks through the heavily dense forest he remembers Sairon's words. "This mission is of the utmost importance. You need to leave now and make sure no one sees you." were the last words his master spoke to him before making him, head out with such speed. "I wonder what is so important that master made me come here in such a hurry. No worries, I find out soon enough. Remarked Kiyoshi to himself.
The trail of the forest was packed with dense bushes and vines with bright red flowers with made it hard for Kiyoshi to traverse through. At the side of the trails in the densest parts of the forest, Kiyoshi could spot various creatures looking at him with curiosity as they can sense that he is human, but not quite.
As he continues on his way, he saw pixies with their pink and white wings and flower crowns. Alongside him, unideers sprint passed him with their silver-white horns, purple antlers, copper hoofs, and golden fur that shined in the sunlight. He even saw a man in a shirt and tie, but his head was that of a deer. Kiyoshi was overwhelmed by all the different species that called the forest their home that he didn't even notice that he had arrived at his destination.
As he looked around, Kiyoshi could only see trees and nothing else besides an enormous boulder in front of him. "Where is the client? Master told me that the client should be waiting for me already," remarked Kiyoshi as he grew annoyed by the fact that he hurried over for a client that wasn't even here. "Am right here." remarked a voice, but Kiyoshi couldn't place a location of the voice. "Where?" asked Kiyoshi, as he can still see no one. "Was the client invisible or were they so small that Kiyoshi wasn't seeing them?" he thought to himself.
"Am right in front of swordsman." Remarked the voice. Annoyed, Kiyoshi shouted that the only thing in front of him was the huge and massive boulder. Then suddenly, the enormous boulder started shaking and changing color. It grew in size and turned from a dirty brown color to a bluish-green color. Behind it, several feathers grew and were multicolor, with primary colors being red, orange, blue, and purple. A long neck appeared which relieved a bird's head that was purple, blue, and green in color with red and orange crown-like feathers on top of it. White circles surrounded its dark pearl eyes. Its triangular-shaped break was a wide array of bright and vibrant gold and orange colors.
The massive bird stood almost three hundred feet in length. In comprising, Kiyoshi looked like a tiny mouse up against a dinosaur compared to the gigantic creature. As the creature stood to full-size, Kiyoshi could see the bird's large red legs with talons the same size as the samurai, if not bigger.
"It's a peacock." Remarked Kiyoshi in amazement at the pulchritudinous creature standing before him. "No, it's not just a peacock, it is a cosmic peacock!" shouted Lilly as she appears on top of Kiyoshi's shoulders in excitement. "A cosmic peacock?" asked Kiyoshi, as it was the first time hearing about such a creature let alone seeing one.
"Yes, a cosmic peacock they a rare sight to see but are so lovely, so beautiful and so majestic. I always wanted to see one, and I wasn't disappointed!" screamed Lilly as she moves fanatically up and down, examining the creature. "I forgot how much you love birds." Remarked Kiyoshi as he tries to get Lilly under control. "That's enough Lilly. Stop it before you piss it over. We don't know what it can do." Expressed Kiyoshi as he grips his sword.
"It is ok human. I can understand her exhilaration. I am a rare sight to see, especially for bird lovers such as herself." Remarked the peacock as he looks down at the pair. "So it was you that called out to me earlier, wasn't it?" Asked Kiyoshi, still wary of the bird. "Yes, Telepathically, of course, since your mortal mind wouldn't be able to understand if I try to communicate with otherwise." Remarked the peacock as it lowers its head to meet Kiyoshi and Lilly.
"Wow, you can talk too! You are such an amazing creature, so beautiful and mystical. I love you." Expressed Lilly, who was overjoyed by the peacock's appearance. "So am guessing you're the client, aren't you?" Asked Kiyoshi, who began dropping his guard. "Yes, my name is Gyasi and I am King of the cosmic peacock." Remarked the creature.
"King. you might your a royal cosmic peacock?" Asked Lilly. "Yes, I am" replied Gyasi. Lilly flew over to Gyasi and attached herself to his neck. "Lilly, get down for his neck," commanded Kiyoshi, frustrated at Lilly's childlike behavior. "It ok am glad someone has taken a liking to me. It's refreshing, actually." Remarked Gyasi. "Hmm, so what does a cosmic being such as yourself need from someone like me?" Asked Kiyoshi. "An escort mission," replied Gyasi
"Your awfully big to be escorted," replied Kiyoshi. "Not me, heavens no my son." Remarked Gyasi as he raises one of his beauteous wings to relieve something under them. It was a golden egg with red and blue stripes on it as it was wrapped in feathers. "This is my son. He hasn't hatched yet, but I need you to escort him to meet his uncle, my brother. Remarked Gyasi, "That a cosmic peacock egg? Wow!" replied Lilly in joy that she was getting to see both a royal cosmic peacock and an egg on the same day.
"Won't it be easier for you to carry him? Since you're his father and a cosmic being." express Kiyoshi. "I would have put you see am dying." Commented Gyasi as he shows an injured under his other wing. " You've been attacked, haven't you?" asked Kiyoshi. "Yes, by some human, who am guessing wanted me and my son as trophies." Remarked Gyasi, "That horrible poor thing." Replied Lilly.
"But you're a cosmic being. Wouldn't it be easy for you to get rid of some humans?" asked Kiyoshi. "Yes, It would be easy to dispatch humans with my power. But cosmic beings aren't allowed to attack mortal beings. It is forbidden not even in self-defense. The punishment for such crimes are so intense that it can affect our children as well samurai." remarked Gyasi.
"But why though?" Asked Kiyoshi. "We cosmic beings have been around since the making of the universe, dear samurai. Thus, we have seen mortals' lives come and go. And for that, we should have a better understanding of their weakness. Thus we cannot go to their levels and use violence against's beings that have not understood what life is at yet." Expressed Gyasi. "My life is a small price to pay for the future of my son and my people. Please make sure my son reaches his uncle by the next full moon a week from now, I beg you." Remarked Gyasi.
" I will," replied Kiyoshi as he allows the gigantic bird to mark a symbol on his hand with its break."This symbol is a map of your destination. All you have to do is think about it and the map will appear in your hand. And here take several of my feathers. As a bonus am sure these will fetch a high price." Remarked Gyasi as he handed over eights feathers to Kiyoshi and one to Lilly since she loves birds. "Please take care of my son, Negasi." Remarked Gyasi as he rubs the egg with his break one last time before Kiyoshi and Lilly take off on their journey.
About an hour later, three men arrive at the location. To find the body of Gyasi burnt and already in ashes. "Looks like the stupid fowl killed itself before we can get to it." remarked one of the men as he grips his sword in anger. "The egg is gone as well." Shouted a next one dressed in ninja attire as he examines the Gyasi's body. "But I found human foots prints here. So you got help, ahh. Well, we soon find them and claim that egg as our own." remarked the last man in a grey cloak as he tracks on the footprints.
Soon his pockets began glowing. In them was communication rock with a short man in a hooded robe appearing from it. "Did you find the bird yet?" asked the hooded man. "Yes, but it's already dead." Remarked the man in the grey cloak. "And the egg?" replied the hooded short man. "Gone. It appears the bird enlisted the help of a human before it died." Remarked the man in the grey cloak. "Find it now, you fucking idiots, that egg is priceless. Do your jobs and find it NOW!" shouted the hooded man before leaving.
"You heard the boss. Let's move out and find that son of bastard that stole from us." Shouted man in the grey cloak as the three men hunt down whoever left the footprints behind.
