"Am sorry it had to come to this Cheyenne," remarked Kiba as the Medike warriors close in on her and Kiyoshi. "What is the meaning of this Kiba? And where is Madoka, Doma, and everyone else?" asked Cheyenne confused as to why this is happening. "Everyone beside Madoka and myself are dead," replied Kiba. "Why?" asked Cheyenne. "Coup!" shouted Kiyoshi.
"A revolution, nothing as senseless as a coup," replied Kiba, angered by Kiyoshi's words. "A revolution. What do you mean Kiba?" cried Cheyenne as she backs away from him. "Far too long princess. Have we been the weakest tribe in the land. Far too long have we been oppressed. Far too long have we been led by a chief that rather use his own daughter than strengthen his people. Now we have the chance to make our people great. Madoka will lead us to a new day a better day Cheyenne." Declared Kiba.
"You're mad. You and Madoka are mad." Where is Doma? He would never allow this!" cried Cheyenne as she comes to terms with Kiba's words. "Unfortunately, Doma could see the vision his brother had for the village," remarked Kiba. "So you killed him, didn't you?" cried Cheyenne as she covers her mouth to prevent herself from screaming.
As Kiba and Cheyenne continue their discussion, Kiyoshi continues to survey the situation that is unfolding. " one, two, three, twenty-six. There are twenty-six of them excluding Kiba. Hmmmm how should I proceed with this?" remarked Kiyoshi to himself.
"What has my father done to deserve this Kiba?" shouted Cheyenne as he screams at Kiba. "Nothing, princess, but your father is old and his time has come. He is not the man he used to be. Look at this. You have been forced into marrying someone in order for us to be safe from other tribes. In Madoka's new era, you will be able to live any life you want free from those responsibilities, Cheyenne. Isn't that what you want?" declared Kiba as he stretches for Cheyenne's hands.
Cheyenne pauses as she processes Kiba's words in her head. "Responsibility, freedom, choice, destiny, and One's true calling are all these words that float around in the young princess's mind as Kiba holds her hand. "Come with me, Cheyenne, and have the freedom to choose." Remarked Kiba.
"Your right. I do have the freedom to choose. And I chose to believe in my father and Kiyoshi." Shouted Cheyenne at the top of her lungs as she pulls away, her hands and head butts Kiba, breaking his nose.
"Kiyoshi now!" declared Cheyenne as Kiyoshi launches his attack. Cutting through the Medike warriors as if they were nothing. With the Medike dead, Kiyoshi approaches Kiba to finish him off. As Kiyoshi aims his sword to kill Kiba, Cheyenne asked him to stop as she didn't finish her conversation with him. Kiyoshi steps back, allowing the pair to finish their conversation.
"Where is Madoka Kiba? asked Cheyenne. "Please tell me Kiba please." She cried, pleading with Kiba.
"He has gone back with the Medike to overthrow your father and bring about a paradise for our people. Shouted Kiba with excitement. Smiling and laughing as he talks to Cheyenne. "You're in love with him aren't you Kiba?" Asked Cheyenne. "You know that it is forbidden for two men to love each other." Shouted Kiba as wiped his bloody nose. "That doesn't mean your heart doesn't call for him." Replied Cheyenne as Kiba looks at her with distorted eyes. "If love can make someone betray their village, then you can keep it," she commented, looking down on Kiba.
"Whatever you say doesn't matter. Madoka will bring a new era for all." Shouted Kiba. "Not if we stop him. Let him go Kiyoshi, let him wander the lands in exile. I have no more time to waste on him." declared Cheyenne as she walks away. Kiba stands up and runs into the forest declaring he will be back once Madoka is chief.
"Kiyoshi, Madoka, and the Medike must almost be by the village by now. There is no way we can make it in time." cried Cheyenne as she tries to figure out how they can save her father and her people. "I could make it in time." Replied Kiyoshi. "Really how?" asked Cheyenne.
"Am faster than I look, but I will have to leave with some people. Well, people is a vague term," remarked Kiyoshi. "Who?" asked Cheyenne, confused as she and Kiyoshi were the only people there.
"Ok guys, come on out," commanded Kiyoshi as Tyrook and Lilly appear beside him. Cheyenne taken back by the sudden appearance of two strange entities falls back on the ground, covering her mouth as she tries not to scream. "Don't be alarmed Cheyenne, this is Tyrook and Lilly. They are demons that call my sword their home. They will look after you while I go stop Madoka." Remarked Kiyoshi. Cheyenne composes herself as he approaches the demons. "Ok am fine, sorry for fearing you guys." Remarked Cheyenne as she sits next to Lilly.
"It's ok sweetheart Tyrook could be pretty ugly so I understand." giggle, Lilly, as Tyrook hangs his head in shame. "Now that we have all met each other it's time for me to go." declared Kiyoshi. Cheyenne flies over to Kiyoshi and hugs him. "Please rescue my father and be safe Kiyoshi." cried Cheyenne. Kiyoshi nods his head and takes off with such force the wind pushes Cheyenne to the ground.
As Kiyoshi runs, a loud blast could be heard. "What was the sound?" Cheyenne asked. "Looks like Kiyoshi has broken the sound barrier," explains Tyrook. "How can he move so fast?" asked Cheyenne. "He is using a demon called Devivial power to increase his physical capabilities against his better judgment," explains Tyrook. "Anyhow, let's get moving. Kiyoshi will get everything done, but you princess still have a ship to meet," remarked Tyrook as they continued on their way.
Meanwhile, back at the village, Enyeto sits in his tent praying to the spirits for Cheyenne's safe journey. Then suddenly a woman burst through his tent panicking. "What wrong child?" asked Enyeto. "Medike they are attacking the village and Madoka is with them." Replied the woman as she tries to catch her breath. "What?" Replied Enyeto as he runs outside to the what was going on.
Outside, Enyeto can see Madoka and the Medike rounding up villagers. "What is the meaning of this Madoka? Why are you here with Medike and where is my daughter? asked Enyeto, confused as to why Madoka is with an enemy tribe and not with his daughter Cheyenne.
"The time for me to take orders from you is over, old man. It is time for a new era, a bright one!" declared Madoka with a spear in hand. "Why are you saying, child?" asked Enyeto. "I am saying your time as chief is over and mine has just begun." Shouted Madoka with an enthusiastic smile on his face. "So you plan to overthrow with the Medike, but why child?" asked Enyeto as he watches on as his people were being attacked by Medike warriors.
"Simple, really, you are old and your ways are old. You have us as the weakest tribe in the land. Peace, peace, and all the other nonsense you spout. While tribes like the Medike rule, we suffer. Worst of all, you gave your only daughter away for us to be protected. Such weakness makes me sick!" declared Madoka. "So plan to rule the tribe as a Medike puppet Madoka." Shouted Enyeto enrage.
"No, me and the Medike have come to an agreement I rule, and I give them Cheyenne for their prince to marry," remarked Madoka, smiling. "You madman, you will never get Cheyenne to commit to that. Doma and the others will never allow that to happen." expressed Enyeto. "Ah yes, my beloved brother Doma. I taught he would have seen it my way as Kiba did. He too was upset that you will just give Cheyenne away like that. But in the end, he choose to be loyal to an old fool like you, and sadly he had to die." express Madoka.
"You killed your own brother, Madoka. What madness has driven you to this?" expressed Enyeto, who was deeply saddened by the turn of events. "Madness, no, my dear chief, not madness, but love for this village and its people. I was willing to kill my brother to give this tribe strength something you could never do. Now bow before me and name me chief and I will allow you to live to see my new era." declared Madoka.
"No matter how hard the wind blows, the mountain will never bow to it, and neither shall I bow to you, Madoka. Do as you must, but I will stand strong as this tribe chief." Declared Enyeto in an overpowering tone of voice. "Then if you won't bow to me. Then you will bow to my spear as it removes your head from your body." Shouted Madoka violently as he swings his spear at Enyeto.
As the spear is inches away from Enyeto's neck, a strong wind blows through the village. Creating a massive sand storm as it does. With the dust settled, Madoka realizes that Enyeto is still standing alive and well, but more importantly, his spear is broken. Behind him, he can hear heavy breathing as he hears the words I MADE IT IN TIME.
