Applying for a job In my father's company would be something I wouldn't think of. What would the other workers say if they saw me working there?
Well, I had some pretty rough time with them when my parents were heads of there.
NO!!!Not me I am not going to let my self down by doing that. I will go out there and look for one by myself.

I woke up to the smell of something good. Could it be perfume or maybe food?. I opened my eyes,stretched and yawned while I looked out the window.
I went downstairs to investigate the source of smell.
I followed the scent and it led me to the kitchen. IT WAS FOOD. And there he was cooking like a chef .
Thank God I didn't have to cook this time.
" Like what you see?" AJ asked. That was when I realized I had been staring at him.
"No" I lied while blushing.
"Don't you have this job thing to do?".
"Yes" I said as I entered the kitchen and leaned against the kitchen counter.
"I'll leave soon".
After some while.
"You cook really well". I said
"But you haven't tasted it yet?" he asked.
"Ah, I can judge from the look it will taste good".
" Should I teach you to cook?". AJ asked.
"Uhmm... yes... maybe...if you want....I don't know".I replied shy that he had to teach me to cook.
"I have to go prepare".I said and left.
I took a bath and then the thought of Isla filled my head. My sweet girl. Well, I never had much time for her. I always had there and here to go, this and that to do.
'I'll make up for loss time I promise' I thought. I was motivated. I have to step in as a mom for Isla. And I have to see my parents in jail to have a word with them once I get a job.
I showered and wore a simple lounge outfit.I put on a no make-up make-up.I picked up my bag and then I went downstairs.
And the smell of the food captivated me. I wanted to eat but I couldn't without being invited. I prayed he would.
I headed to the door.
"You smell good". AJ spoke.
"Huh?"
"I love your smell".
"oh thank you. I am off to find a job".
"Good luck". he said and turned the TV on.
I was angry. Why didn't he ask me if I would eat. I went outside and came back in.
"I left my phone". I said and went to my room. Took in a deep breath and went back down.
He still ignored me.
I left and ordered for an Uber and left.
It was 10:00 am. And my first 5 companies were a failure. I started thinking of heading home. But then I wanted to go to my company.
After the war. between my head and heart, my heart won. I started the journey to my company.I entered and to my surprise I knew nobody there. Everyone had been sacked.
I went straight to the receptionist.
"Hello. I am Arden. Arden Radek. I have an interview here". As I mentioned Radek, she sized me up and down and smirked a little.
'Smirk all you want kitty cat I would soon remove you from this position as I crawl my way back here'
"okay let me check up for you".
She checked on her on her laptop and mumbled something on the phone. After a while.
"Please wait".
I waited for some while. And then I started thinking of how greedy AJ was to me. He didn't even think about how I was going to cope without food.
I wished he was here I would ignore him then. I would do just that when I get home. Wow home? Hm! Who knew I would have to call AJ'S house my home? I would move out soon once I landed a job.
"Excuse me ma'am"!
"Huh?"
"Your turn".
" oh thank you". I stepped into the elevator and went straight to floor 24. A woman came out of there interview room blushing.
Was she happy she got the job or....
I knocked and went in. There was the new CEO.
He was handsome, smelling good and charming.He had a smile to match his charm.
"Good morning Miss Radek". he greeted.
He knew my name? Of course he knew about us before taking over the company.
"Good morning". I replied.
"Who knew I would have to interview the soon to be owner of the company".he asked with a smirk. I felt like ripping it off.
'I am not here for your nonsense b*tch.I would rip you off your position once I gain ownership of this place and make your life a living hell'. I said in my head. Yh right you want me to say it out loud? But I will sweetie but patience *grin*

Eek he thought I was smiling at him? HELL NO!!!
"I am sorry I wasn't smiling at you". I said.
"Good excuse everyone knows I am good looking". Not like my A... no my dad. What is wrong with me? He said and reminded me of AJ when we first met.
"Hand over the papers". he said as he stretched out his hand.
I opened my bag and then what I saw was shocking. There was food in my bag.But it had been placed right on my PAPERWORK!!!!!
It was all crumpled and stained!!! Ugh... AJ nice surprise but bad ending.
I didn't want to let it out. But I had to.
"What got something red and lacy in there?".he asked as his gaze swept over me and lingered a little longer on my chest.
I felt like puking. I saw light reflecting from my phone and I picked it and it read.

"What? Got a text from your boyfriend?"he asked.
If I wanted to prevent myself from throwing up on this man I had to let the papers out.
As I was about to let them out he said"Shall I give you a hand?"
He said with a dreamy look on his face.
The next thing I saw was puke everywhere.
