It was morning. I woke up feeling relaxed as the birds sang their happy songs.
I let out my hands to stretch. But something held me in place. AJ'S hands were wrapped around me!!
That was when I remembered everything that happened last night. I blushed red and turned to watch him sleep. He looked so peaceful and adorable.
His tousled hair made him even nicer. He opened his eyes as though he saw me looking at him. He yawned.
I blushed.He took notice and said,"What?"
I blushed harder and said
"Well, I have never had a male this close to me before".
"oh, well... good morning Princess".he said and left immediately without even waiting to hear my reply. But I wasn't in the slightest offended.
I didn't know why.
I got out of bed. I brushed my teeth and bathed and n wore a long sleeve tank top with a short white zig zag laced crazy denim shorts and left for downstairs. Wondering where Laila was. But I will call her soon once I eat breakfast.
I went downstairs and Laila was setting up the dinning table! So she was here yayy!!
Oh no! Did she hear our fight? Oh no!!!!
I was embarrassed.I saw someone else at the table. It was Simone he was looking at me but removed his eyes once our eyes met.
I sat at the table.
"Good morning Laila". I greeted her.
"Oh, good morning but I guess someone had a better morning than I did". she said with a wink.
What was she hinting? Well I didn't understand but I ignored. Since Laila been Laila so...
"Good morning Simone". I greeted him.
"Good...good morning".he greeted back.
Everyone sat at the table and then it made me miss my family more. Tears welled up but then I held them back. Not ever! Not Infront of Simone.
As we were 10 minutes into breakfast.
Simone cleared his throat" Uhm...I have something I want to say".
We all stared at him signifying that he could go on.
"Arden you got it all wrong!!" he said. Oh he already knew my name!! of course he did!!!
"After we said all that, he also mentioned that he liked you all cute like a baby. He was grateful you were not a lioness.He said you were cute and adorable..."
Just then a cough echoed while I blushed at what he just said. Laila reached out for water but she fell backwards and winked at me.
What's with all this winking??
AJ was still coughing. Oh I get it. WATER!!
I reached out and handed the water to him.
I looked at Laila but she had this gloomy look on her face.
What? I gave it to him!! We continued eating and then Laila and I packed up the bowls for washing.
AJ and Simone offered to help but Laila refused so they decided to have a little boys time and then left.
"What's with all that winking?"I asked her.
"Why are you oh not so good at signals huh?". she asked me furious.
"You signaled me to hand him water and I did".
"I wanted you to help him drink it". she answered.
"With my hands?" I asked.
She crossed her arms and said "No with your legs".
I rolled my eyes at her sarcasm.
"There's nothing like that going to happen between I and AJ okay?". I replied.
"Yh, that is what they say and in the end they are madly in love". she said.
"I mean it."!!! I said.
"Yh, as if I didn't see you in bed with AJ yesterday"!! she giggled.
In bed? Ohh!
"No it's not what you think"!
"I saw from where he cuddled you and you wriggled and you guys moved to the bed, sat on it and then I was expecting something more than just sleeping"!!!! she said.
"Ew" I blushed pink and left her.
Laila will never stop being Laila. I smiled and left for my room.
I sat on the bed and picked up a novel to read.
I wished Laila stayed here forever but she just won't. I read and then I slept.
I woke up and stretched.
I went downstairs and it was already sunset. AJ was in, Laila was in but Simone wasn't. Maybe he left.
Laila made dinner already. I wished I was aware so I would learn.
We were seated and then everyone started to eat. Silence ruined. It was the notification sound from my phone that broke the loud silence.
"Yes, hello? Yes it's me" by then Laila stared at me.
"Yes? Uh-huh? WHAT???" AJ started staring.
"OH MY GOD"!!!!
I ended the call.I stared at nothing making AJ and Laila worried.
"Ardie what? Talk you're scaring me"!!!she said worried.
"I GOT THE JOB"!!! I said still staring at nothing.
"Really? Congratulations!!!" she said. "This calls for celebration".
"I am... happy for you". AJ said.
"Thank you". I answered and jumped up high. I can finally have Isla. Oh yesssss!!!
I finished dinner and went to my room super hyped.We were going to party. I never had gone a week without partying.We left and came downstairs.
AJ was wearing a shirt and a trouser. And Laila wore a long crazy jeans with top. I wore a plain mini bodycon off shoulders dress black and then we left in Laila's car.
We entered a high class party that I wasn't disappointed for wearing what I wore. Big men like CEOS and Managers and actors could be here!! I'll have the best dance ever. I hadn't dance in like ages.
I and Laila went straight to the bartender while AJ sunk in the crowd. We ordered our drinks.
It was loud noisy.
"Laila... can't you stay with AJ and I ?" I asked
"So I can see more of cuddles and hugs? No thank you". she answered.
I rolled my eyes and said" please really"!!!
"I'm sorry my father needs me in Spain.So he would teach me the traits of his company. He would hand it over to me pretty soon". she said sad.
"So you're going to be like him? A work addict"? I asked in fear of loosing my bestfriend.
"No!! Partying and socializing is my thing"!!! she said enthusiastically.
Just then the bartender offered us another drink. I refused it and said "We never ordered this, thank you"!
"It's from that man over there!" he said pointing at the person. Oh no! What was he doing here?
I was so embarrassed I blushed hard.
"Let's get out of here" I said to Laila.
"Are you crazy? Not when my girl has every right to celebrate and oh! My fav songgggg!!" she said and left me there dancing.
I signaled her to come back and as she was making to come to me, somebody pulled her for a dance.
Now the man was heading towards me. I looked away from him and pretended I was watching some where else.
"Avoiding me huh?" he said.
"No sir"! I said to the man I had puked on!
"I guess you're here to celebrate your success in gaining the job?" he asked.
I was shy to admit.I ignored him.
"So that girl is your sister?" he asked.
" I believe you have no access to my personal life sir"! I answered him.
"oh really? Guess what I can give you your company, your parents, your house and your sister if you do one thing for me. Be mine"! he said.
"I am not for sale".I answered furiously.
"Well, guess who has custody of your sister ME!!!" he said.
