Chapter 26 - A Magical Office Moment, turned cold

She reached her arms around his neck and simultaneously slipped off her shoes and pulled her legs around his waist. Neither of them heard the click-clack as they hit the floor. Holding her weight against his body, she devoured his lips with hers. Electric sparks set off between their lips and forced him to open and accept what she was giving. She curled her fingers in the underside of his hair and went deeper into his mouth with the tender strokes of her velvet tongue. She was putting all of her energy into the kiss and the elements around her applauded and gave way with helping.

He pulled his hands up and cupped her soft bottom, and immediately following bright sparks flew through the air. As if the air was catching on fire and leaving fire trails in its wake. They twirled around them, surrounding them in small smoke streams. The lights were starting to dim, and the room filled with mist on the floor, around Gairett's feet. It smelled of rosemary and vanilla.

She tightened her grip around his waist and ground her soft pleasure button into his stomach. He could feel her moisture through her thin panties, making him tighten his fingers on her bottom. The small fire trails turned into actual balls of fire that died out and lit again on their own accord. Letting Tayen know they were pleased. The fire turned to red hot glitters and the lights went completely off. A breeze filled the room, ruffling the papers and sending manila folders filled with papers and pictures everywhere.

Pulling one hand free she turned the direction of the kiss to his neck and jaw. Gently, she rubbed her hand caressingly down between them and to his treasure trail. She teasingly played with the thin, soft hair, mixing his musky scent with hers. It filled her nostrils and drugged her brain.

He moved his fingers over the backside of her panties where her moisture was making it the wettest. Like sliding fingers on a desk as if to tap all four, he drummed lightly on her area.

She gave a slight moan and the fire surrounding them turned to balls of water. The red, white fire that was there turned to a glowing blue, matching the color of his eyes. Like the Fire element, Water too, gave its praise, turning the mist at their feet to a thick fog that surrounded them and filled the room. It crept up his shirt and played with the back of her neck. The room was a stage for glitter and lights and smelled slightly of blueberries as the room turned a bright purple, almost pink.

Instantly Tayen's eyes flashed open. The black abyss of her eyes went to her normal cocoa brown and dropping her weight, she slammed down to her feet. The room went bright white, filling with the false light of electricity. The only smell left in the room were the flowers and their combined musky scents mingling together.

Backing up, she slammed into the door, surprising herself. Her face went to the same red color of the first flames and the rest of her body was beginning to flush even more.

Gairett fell back against her desk, knocking over picture frames and scattering pens and knickknacks everywhere. He could still feel her moisture on his fingers and stomach. He could still taste the berries and herbs that she seemed to be filled with. She was everywhere for him. It felt like he was holding her silky hair in his hands, as the feeling of absence and hurt started to creep in. It was near overwhelming.

"I'm sorry . . ." She brought her fingers to her mouth and placed three of her nails in between her teeth. "I just . . . You're the only one I want, Gairett. You're the only one I've ever loved. Ever could love." Her chest was heaving again, like she was gasping for air, yet still holding her posture. The three nails went to one, then to her bottom lip and then down, so she was fiddling with her fingers in front of her.

"I-It's just after seeing you and hearing you. Then you were touching me. I-I-I just had so many emotions and feelings. So many that I haven't felt since you left. And they all just came back in a flood, and I didn't have time to throw up anything for protection. I didn't know... I didn't know what to do."

She brought her finger back up to her mouth and chewed again. "I'm sorry Gairett." She turned around and opened the door. "I'll be back. Please stay here!?"

After going out, she closed the door firmly behind her and leaned against it. All she had to do was get her breath back. Make her body and actions work properly. Then she could go back in.

God his mouth! And those infernal fingers, playing torturous tricks with my . . . GOD I can't think like this. I'll explode. Just breathe… just . . . breath.

For a few minutes, that's what she did, breathe. Then she went to the bathroom and started to primp in the mirror, trying to feel better and not feel so overtaken. And that's exactly what she was. Completely taken over, mind gone all mush and feelings put into overdrive. He was always able to do that to her. Send her into another world on a non-stop flight.

In the office, Gairett looked down at his hands. He could still see her glistening on his fingers. Still! He could smell her, everywhere. His fingers ached, and his palms burned. He knew what they wanted. He knew that giving them what they wanted could send things haywire again. But blessed Elements, she felt so good, and his hands, arms and lips were all reaching out for her. They were all begging for him to take her.

He clenched his fists together as she walked back in. He dropped his arms as she licked her lips and said, "Again, I am so sorry for my behavior."

He looked back down at his hands and clenched them even tighter. "I didn't help with my actions either."

His hands were balls of fists so white you could see the bone. Reaching past her, he opened the door. "I am going to sit near Velori. I have things I need to think about . . . and do. As her doctor, should I ask you if it is okay? I wouldn't want to get into trouble."

The mocking and quickness of his voice stung her deep in her chest, behind her heart. Behind everything. Where she was vulnerable. It hurt him too, but he couldn't do anything else, otherwise, he would grab her again and finish what she had started.

Her voice came out again, as just a small breath of a whisper. "That's fine."

"Good. If you wish to talk or help, that's where I will be." He closed the door and started back through the maze to get to Velori's room.
