"You know I can do this by myself right?" I asked as Betty-Ann helped me put on my shirt
"Yes but I enjoy dressing you"
"Why?" I chuckled
"Because it'll be a lot easier to help you undress later" she seductively whispered in my ear
"You know technically this will be our first official date as a couple," I said
"What about the beach picnic?" She asked
"We weren't technically dating then," I said
"Alright, I'll remember that when I'm getting dressed," she said before she went towards the shower
"Can't I help you get dressed?"
"No, that would spoil the surprise," she said
"But how would I know how to undress you?" I smirked
"Trust me babe it'll be easy to get out of" she winked before leaving
I smiled watching her as she made her way to my bathroom wrapping her beautiful body in one of my towels
After she left I went downstairs to see how the girls were doing and even though the time set for a party was rapidly approaching there were still many people trying to get everything finished
"What are you doing down here?" Libby asked. Carlos was by her side
"Libby, I just came down to see how you were doing. I got to say I'm impressed."
"Of course, you are my Shinning One is amazing"
"This looks amazing," I said
"This is all thanks to Liberty's hard work. I must say she put on quite an impressive display" Britney said walking up to us
"Thank you"
"You know Liberty I plan on throwing my annual Christmas party and I simply must seek your help in planning"
"Wait seriously. You want a small-town girl like me to plan for those top celebrities and models" Libby sarcastically feigned excitement
"I admit I might have been a bit discriminative towards you this morning-"
"Just a bit?"
"But I don't think you should let this opportunity pass. There are going to be very important people there"
"How important?"
"Only the most important in my contact" Britney boasted before her sisters ran up to us
"Big problem! We have a big problem" the youngest one, Ellen said
"What is it, El?"
"There's no music for tonight," Ellen said
"What?!" Libby and Brittney exclaimed
"Jen and I went to that DJ D place but he rejected us when we mentioned Libby," Ellen said while Jennifer nodded
"That bastard" Libby cursed
"Just great what are we supposed to do for music now. We can't have a party without music" Britney said
"What's the big deal. Isn't music the least of your problems?" I asked
"Are you being serious right now" Britney scowled glaring at me
"I mean we have a boy and girl band as well as an aspiring solo artist," I said
"There's no better entertainment than watching my Shinning one perform" Carlos added
"You two must be joking. Do you know how tacky it is to perform that at your own party?"
"Well would you want a tacky party or no party at all," Carlos said before Britney huffed.
"Jen go get the boys. El and I have to get the equipment out of the house"
"I have some at my house," Libby said
"I'll help you carry them my Shinning one"
"Thank my King," Libby said kissing him before dragging him out.
With nothing else to do, I went back upstairs to see if Betty-Ann was finished. As I made my way to the end of the hall Sophie came out of her room hitting me on my shoulder with her door
"Owe" I stumbled back
"Oh my god Taylor I'm so sorry"
"It's fine. I'm okay" I said holding my shoulder
"Wow you look great," I said admiring her short shoulder strap dress with gladiator sandals
"Thank you," she said with a slightly visible blush
"Um Libby and the others went to get the music"
"Oh that's good I was just heading to the bathroom"
"Yeah don't let me stop you," I said stepping to the side and allowing her to walk past.
I watched her as she went into her bathroom on the other side of the hall opposite my room
I watched her until she disappeared behind the door before continuing on my way to my room
I went in and saw Betty-Ann sitting on my bed with an alluring smile on her face. She was dressed in a black sheer shirt, black high waist jeans, and short heels
"Wow"
"What do you think?" she smirked
"Wow" I repeated
"This should be really easy to take off don't you think," she said and I could only nod. In an attempt to resist the temptation of my lust I dashed into the bathroom to cool off. After calming down I went back out to watch a movie with Betty-Ann until the party started
An hour after the party started everyone was dancing freely. I stood by the wall sipping on a cup of Kool-Aid watching them. There was also punch but someone had already spiked it. I wasn't any good with alcohol a trait I shared with Hugh.
The last time I took a sip of alcohol was when Carlos had stolen from his Dad's liquor cabinet. I took a sip and started sharing personal secrets with him and Carl junior year after the S.A.Ts and then I took another sip
That was the last thing I remember before waking up with a hickey on my neck and no memory of where I was or what happened. I tried my best to never drink again after that.
I stood by myself drinking my Kool-Aid while watching Britney and her sisters perform
Not long after Betty-Ann walked up to me
"Hey" I smiled at her before she kissed me
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing," I said
"Exactly. You're throwing a party at your house and you're just leaning in the corner drinking whatever is in that cup"
"Kool-Aid," I said
"Come with me" she sighed pulling me towards a group of strangers sitting in a circle
On closer inspection, I noticed they were playing spin the bottle.
"Come on let's sit down," Betty-Ann said forcing our way between two strangers
"Betty-Ann, do you really think this is a good idea?"
I didn't want to see my girlfriend kissing some random guy at the other end of some stupid bottle
"James, it's just a game and it's not like we actually have feelings for anyone here" she chuckled
"You're right, they're all strangers," I said before looking across from me to see Sophie sitting there looking rather nervous.
Once we made eye contact she smiled and waved awkwardly at me. Smiling back I waved awkwardly at him
Soon after Betty-Ann noticed her and she made it obvious she wasn't pleased however before we could get up the bottle was pushed in front of me
"Hey man it's your turn," he said
"Nah it's okay. I was just leaving" I said
"Nah man the bottle's in front of you so you gotta spin"
"Fine" I sighed
Okay, there were twenty people there what were the odds that it land on Sophie.
Considering our luck astronomical however if I made the correct measurements I could make sure the bottle didn't land on Sophie.
Putting my hand on the bottle I started running calculations in my head but before I could finish someone interrupted me by yelling, "Hurry it up would ya we don't have all night"
Being rushed I spun the bottle. Watching the bottle spin I felt a bead of sweat run down my neck. I waited anxiously until the bottle started to slow before coming to a complete stop at the girl beside Sophie.
Letting out a sigh of relief I relaxed before the bottle turned ever so slightly landing on Sophie. So once again we looked at each other before smiling awkwardly
"Damn he's so lucky. She's hot" the same guy said
"Well hurry up it up. We wanna continue the game" The guy said before we turned and looked at Betty-Ann
"It's just a game. It's fine" she told Sophie
We both sighed and with a clear conscience, we slowly started moving towards each other Sophie closed her eyes and began to shut mine but just as our lips were about to touch I caught of glimpse someone that filled me with rage
"What the hell are you doing here!!" I furiously yelled
