Synopsis
What if there was no hero in the world? My name is Han Yuta and I just finished writing half of my first book's prologue when I suddenly got caught up in an accident and died. When I opened my eyes, I was inside that very same book but because of the unfinished content... it was a very difficult situation. 'I haven't even written out the main character! There's no hero yet!' I had just described the world. And it was the perfect world for atrocious villains.

Chapter 1 - Right now, the last thing I want to be in is a vehicle!

I knew from the beginning that I was a twisted bastard.

"This world should be awful to the core. It should be so terrible that it would be better for the weak to be dead than alive."

Since I wanted a realistic approach mixed in with the fantasy genre, I gathered all the evil things that I could think about, ranging from mythological stories to real-life situations.

Demonic creatures. Inhumane deeds. Downright ruthless people. Even the landscape of my first setting is described to be comparable to the hell in the bible.

'I wonder if this is enough...'

Reading my paragraphs, I felt pleased.

'Yes, it is.'

Recently, the demand for overpowered characters was high in novels. Of course, going with the trend was a good choice.

'But making the main character overpowered from the start makes it no different from other books.'

And I know for sure that many readers feel extra good to see an angel-like main character only when they realize how devilishly bad the antagonist is.

'What fun would there be if only the main character is overpowered? There should always be a balance.'

No one would read a story with no thrills so I just had to make the villains extra evil.

"Now that I've thrown all the bad things, I just need to add the good things."

The flow of my story starts with a hero cleansing his birthplace by slashing the villager's necks with a holy sword to send them to the empire in heaven. In more simpler word, it starts with a bloody massacre.

Yeah, this is going to sell... tsk.

Who am I kidding?

"It fucking sucks! That idea is too overused."

Annoyed, I sipped from my espresso that had gone cold before reading the first half of the prologue. There was nothing much.

It just described what kind of place they were living in and what kind of people were living there. Just a typical land where good people would have zero percent of survival and evil would always unfairly succeed in their wicked goals.

< Many people tried to mend their ways, however, no one had succeeded until now. One day, a miracle was born. >

This was the next statement I had in mind.

Next paragraph, I'll introduce the hope of the land. The blessed light and the only exception to the rules of the damned...

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

"Huh?"

I looked up from the computer screen after hearing the deafening noise but was immediately blinded by two shinning orbs. My mind couldn't process what was happening until a truck crashed into the café walls and ran over my body.

Everything was in slow motion. It felt as if I was floating and falling at the same time. And even when I had regained my senses, it made me want to forget it all again after feeling a searing pain surge throughout my body.

'What the actual fuck?'

Hot, scorching agony spilled out from my bones, and the next thing I knew there was darkness...

'I see. I'm dying.'

Shit.

You have got to be kidding me! I just graduated, damn it. I haven't even published a book yet. Heck, even the prologue of my first work wasn't finished.

Always... I always have rotten luck, don't I? Damn, it's been a shitty life.

'Absolutely perfect for a bastard like me.'

I should be angry that my life is going to end just like this but why am I so calm? Why do I feel like I'm not dying at all?

I'm even thinking like this inner conversation is the same as deciding my lunch menu.

'How on earth is this possible?'

Then suddenly, the pain vanished. It disappeared instantly that I unconsciously opened my eyes in surprise.

"What the..."

I saw an unfamiliar scenery in front of me.

"Where am I?"

There were unfamiliar faces in front of me, some were asleep and the others looked terrified. But they were all children at around age fourteen if I guessed correctly.

Before I could process anything else, I heard a rattling noise.

My gaze wandered around.

'This is...'

Blood rose to my head as I slowly become more aware of my surroundings. It's a strange situation, but I can clearly tell where I was currently at.

Even a baby can recognize it as a damn vehicle.

'Seriously? A vehicle? A damn vehicle just killed me!'

It was the last thing I want to be in right now.
