Chapter 1 - Dream

In a small village, where dozens of families live in peace and tranquility. The strains of songs and the sound of workers' screams were heard everywhere.

"Don't wander outside the village too far Rudolf!" shouted a middle-aged woman at the border of Vire Village.

" I'm not going through the forest border anyway, I'll be back before it gets dark mom!" replied the little boy as he ran with a wooden sword in his hand.

"Don't be late, I'm worried about you!" The middle-aged woman shouted again.

"Okay mom!" replied the little boy, waving to his mother. he was born into a merchant family, his real name is Rudofl Astre and currently Rudolf is 12 years old, since childhood he has been very active and curious about the world. Every now and then he goes out of the village to see the forest and meadows around the village.

Rudolf continues to try to learn to play weapons even though his father always tells him to learn about trading, he thinks learning the sword, archery and so on can help him realize his dream of exploring the continents.

Every morning Rudolf went to the forest to shoot arrows and practice his movements, in the afternoon he practiced swordsmanship with the guards in the meadow in front of the village.

In the evening, Rudolf is surprised when he comes home to the fact that he will have a sister. One family was happy that night, but at that moment Rudolf talked about his dream to his parents.

"Father, Mother, I want to speak honestly with you," said Rudolf quietly, looking at his parents.

"Just tell my son, it's a happy day no one will be angry with you" said Rudolf's mother gently. His father nodded slowly in agreement with his wife's words.

"I dream of traveling around this continent, I'm curious about members of other races, such as Elves, Ents, Dwarves and so on. Is it okay when I am 15 years old to go on adventures?" said Rudolf slowly. Age 15 is the age when humans move towards maturity, most humans will carry out the maturity ceremony and determine the dreams in their hearts.

Rudolf's parents were silent for a moment, because they knew that going on an adventure in the wild was very dangerous. people need to be equipped with sufficient experience and survival skills to survive in the wild.

Rudolf's mother took a breath to calm herself and said "Sure. But before that, you have to learn how to survive in the wild, I will ask my best friend who is an adventurer to train you to survive out there".

"Okay, it's late, time to sleep so we can do many activities tomorrow" continued Rudolf's mother with a small smile.

"Okay mom" replied Rudolf with a big smile.

Seeing his son who was very pleased with his wife's answer, Rudolf's father couldn't help but sigh. "Maybe you should say no, honey. You should know how dangerous the wilderness is because you've been on adventures with me before, it's not too late not to let him go" said Rudolf's father quietly.

"It's okay dear. Our child is a smart kid, he definitely knows which one to avoid. If trained properly, he will be fine, as long as he doesn't go to 'that' place." answered Rudolf's mother firmly.

"Well, I have nothing against if you do insist on letting him go on adventures, it's just that I hope he can train properly until that day comes." said Rudolf's father quietly as he closed his deep looking eyes.

The next day, Rudolf's mother's best friend came and met Rudolf's mother. It turns out that her mother's best friend is Glenn 'The Shadow', a great adventurer who is rumored to have beaten a snake as tall as a house.

While Glenn and Rudolf's mother were talking, Rudolf came over and looked at Glenen excitedly. That spirit arose because of this person who would train Rudolf for the next 3 years.

"Hello, kid. This exercise is going to be a little painful you know, hehe" Glenn greeted with a grin when he saw Rudolf. Rudolf could only stare in high spirits at Glenn who was grinning at him.

It was the beginning of the hellish training that Rudolf would endure for another 3 years.
