The twins decided to clean up the house and do tasks after Alkis had left. They began by cleaning the floor, washing the utensils, watering the plants, weeding the crops, and examining the irrigation. After 4 hours of continuous work and an hour of rest they decided to go to the library and ask the librarian about the information she had promised to give.
While on their way to the library, Shura questioned Tsar in an unsure manner,
"Do you believe Sophie will tell us about the information today?"
"I'm sure she would, after all, she promised that she'd tell us about it when we reached ten years of age."
Tsar responded with certainty. Shura cheered up when she saw her brother's confidence as reading books was her hobby and information was always something she sought.
They talked about a lot of things on their way to the library, after around an hour of riding in a horse-drawn carriage using their hidden savings, the twins arrived in front of a building. The building wasn't as large as many people would assume; it only had two floors and was around the area of four normal residences.
As they entered the library, they noticed that there were only about ten people there, walking through the bookshelves, a table was situated in the center of the shelves. A somewhat-beautiful lady sat behind the table, skimming through the pages of a book. She appeared to be in her late twenties, but the twins knew she was significantly older.
They approached her and stopped on the opposite side of the table; when the lady glanced up and noticed them, she expressed surprise and said,
"Oh, you two surprised me today; are you here to read some books? Well, I recently obtained an interesting book in the storage-"
"Stop trying to pretend to be surprised; we know that you were aware of our presence the moment we entered the library, Sophie. And I'm sure you already know why we're here, don't you?"
Tsar cut her off before she could finish her sentence. Seeing Tsar's confident tone and resolute eyes the lady sighed and said,
"Well, you win. Come have a seat, both of you, I'll go get the information book."
Both Tsar and Shura rejoiced and took a seat. Though both of them knew that Sophie didn't need the book to tell them they chose to remain quiet and wait. Sophie appeared with a dusty book after 5 minutes of waiting and placed it on the table. She then sat down and began to explain,
"Well, let me start from the beginning. So the town we live in is named Ecrin, and it is home to the majority of the Lodrac empire's commoners. The Ecrin town alone is home to more than 60% of the Lodrac Empire's commoners. It also houses the least force-users in the entire empire."
"There are three ruling empires on the Astaroth continent, which are the apex powerhouses here, they are Ladroc empire, Hesta empire and The Phirene Dynasty. Including the other weaker organisations the Astaroth continent has a population of around 700 million beings. Our world is made up of this continent and four other continents. People from distant worlds refer to our planet as Nexus Proeliator. It is so called because it has a long history of creating some of the greatest human warriors in the known cosmos. Our world is also a human dominating world which means it has more humans than all other races combined."
"There are a total of 20 higher worlds, including our own. Because the concentration of laws here is far greater than in lower worlds, we are referred to as the "higher world.", we don't need to cultivate from the spiritual energy present in the lower worlds to get in harmony with the laws. As a result, we have far more strength than people in lower worlds. There are over 3000 lower worlds, but only 20 higher worlds are present. So you may realize how lucky you are to have been born into a higher world."
Tsar and Shura had their mouths agape as they listened to the explanation; they had never imagined themselves to be so insignificant in the cosmos, but they were also grateful for the fact that they were born in a higher world. Sophie chuckled as she observed their reactions and continued,
"According to legends, there were once 21 higher worlds, but around 14000 years ago, a higher world named Alocyre was destroyed along with some lower worlds by an unknown entity. Despite the fact that there is no written proof since the higher-ups erased all the records to avoid chaos, nearly every force-user knows this to be true."
The twins had their eyes open wide as they listened to this, Tsar couldn't hold himself back and asked,
"So does this mean that there exists entities who can erase us anytime they want?"
Seeing the fear in his eyes Sophie smiled and said
"Don't worry about it; no one is currently known to be powerful enough to destroy an entire higher world on their own, and even if they do exist, they are either constrained by a law or are present in the God's realm."
"Does the God's realm really exist"
Shura asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"It definitely does; after all, who do you think powerhouses like Cult of Riona worships? Riona is a powerhouse present in God's realm, there are many more gods who are worshipped by people here in higher worlds and some lower worlds. Though I am unfamiliar with it, I am sure that it exists."
Sophie fell silent after saying this, indicating that the explanation was complete, the twins remained silent for a while, digesting the knowledge they had received. They stood up and bowed after about 10 minutes, and Tsar said
"Thank you Sophie for giving us your time. We know that as commoners, we do not deserve your time, but you still guided us and provided us with knowledge."
Sophie smiled and said
"You don't need to thank me; this is basic information for any force-user, and didn't you mention that you wanted to become a force-user to fulfil a goal of yours? So, if you do become one, just pay me a visit once, that would be enough for a payback."
Tsar also smiled and said
"I certainly will"
After a short exchange, the twins left the library and headed for their home.
