Chapter 23 - Chapter 23

'I will never change what is already in my heart, as strongly as Yasmin tries to destroy the power of my love for Reza, it will never happen.'

I chose to avoid Yasmin. Make him hate me even more. In every one of my deeds, I always slipped a cold and frozen attitude on the girl. However, the innocent girl has never changed at all. She served me like a wife to her husband. Preparing all my needs and patiently ministering to my sickly mother. Even though it's almost a year we've been married I've never touched it once.

Nothing has changed, we remain asleep in different places. Take care of the lives of each of us. I was busy with my appointment as foreman of perhutani and Yasmin who began to show progress in her business of selling clothes, and her plan was that in the near future she would open a large boutique in the city center. About that I knew from mom. The woman who never stopped reminded me to change my attitude to Yasmin for the better.

"Bagas, how much is your savings?" asked the mother who suddenly asked me about my deposit money.

"Why is it mom?" I replied looking at the mother sitting beside me.

"Yasmin wants to renovate our house with her savings. Don't you want to donate to help Yasmin. This house is our home after all. Mom is not good with Yasmin."

I took a deep breath, then snorted softly. Massaging my forehead that was not dizzy. Mom looked at me, her eyes didn't blink at all watching me.

"Mom knows you must have savings, right?" she said looking at me suspiciously.

'Oh my god, how is this going. Even though I have worked hard to raise money to buy a house for Reza and just a little more my dream of making Reza happy will be realized.'

"Bagas!" Mom patted my thigh to make me grump.

"Uh, yes ma'am!" I said with a chuckle.

"There isn't it? Tomorrow don't forget to give the money to Yasmin," mom said, leaving me. The woman never wanted to listen to my answer in the slightest.

I snorted harshly looking at the back of the mother who passed away leaving me.

'Damn!'

----

My body leaned against the door by folding my arms in front of my chest. My eyes were watching the woman who was sitting in front of the dressing table. Yasmin doesn't usually make up herself with thick makeup. Usually the quiet girl prefers natural makeup with nude-colored lipstick. Now the thick lips are blushing red with a red color.

"It's like just sucking blood." I said quietly, of course Yasmin didn't listen to that.

I covered my mouth holding back a laugh, looking at Yasmin's face that looked strange in my opinion.

"Bagas, why?" Yasmin was apparently aware of my arrival standing at the door of the room.

"No!" I replied stopping my laughter.

Yasmin twisted her body towards me. "You're laughing at me, huh?" said Yasmin, her face visibly resentful.

"Hahaha..." Finally my laughter came off as well. I was already unable to contain my laughter.

Yasmin's face changed suddenly. His hands rubbed her cheeks. It seemed that she realized that I was laughing at her makeup that was very similar to that of a clown.

"I'm sorry," I retorted a little pity at yasmin's changed face. I stopped laughing.

The girl flipped her body staring at the mirror. Her face turned somber, clear beads falling down her cheeks. Until the mascara worn is messy around the eyes.

I walked up to Yasmin, sitting on the edge of the bed by the dressing table. The girl burst into tears, hiding her face with both hands covering the face.

"Already don't cry. Next time if you can't decorate it better not to have to," I said glancing at Yasmin.

I got up from the edge of the bed, placing a brown envelope on the dressing table. "This is my savings, but not much. The rest I want to use to buy a house for Reza in Bojonegoro. You shouldn't need to build this house. After all, our marriage is only a few months away," I said stressfully. Reminiscent of Yasmin of our marriage agreement.

Yasmin silently did not answer, only clear grains escaped wetting her cheeks. Her hands kept rubbing the rest of the makeup attached to her face. As if his ears were deaf not hearing my words, his gaze focused only on the reflection of his face in the mirror.

'And I passed without caring about it.'

----

Finally my dream of becoming a foreman was achieved. My hard work during this time paid off in cash. I can't imagine how perfect my life will be. Being able to marry a girl as beautiful as Reza who works as a teacher, while I am a foreman of perhutani. It's so perfect.

"Bagas!" shouted the woman from the end of the road.

Since this morning Reza has been in contact with me. Because it was me who was busy, the neat-toothed girl sent me a short message. She asked me to wait for him in the park of the town square where we were favorite.

The girl quickened her pace with a happy face smile. Came up to me and sat down on the stool that was beside me.

"Baby, do you want know something?" Reza shook my wrist. The look in her eyes made me even more curious.

"Why baby, don't make me curious like this!" I retorted looking intimately at Reza who was getting spoiled to me.

"Baby, I passed the CPNS test!" said Reza with a happy look on her face.

"Really?" I said happily as well.

"yes, Sweetheart." Reza nodded happily.

I thought Reza would hug me, it turned out to be just my delusion, because Reza would not be possible to do it. Reza is the kind of girl whose expensive selling rate is too high. The girl chose to hold her bag with a happy twinkle.

"Wow, congratulations, baby!" I said happily.

Dreg! Dreg! Dreg!

I took the vibrating phone from my pants pocket. My eyes opened as I read the name of Yasmin who contacted me. Damn it, why did Yasmin contact me when I was with Reza.

I chose not to answer Yasmin's call and turned off the phone. So that Yasmin doesn't constantly contact me.

"Honey, why didn't it go to answer?" said Reza knowing if I put the phone back in my pants pocket.

"Oh this, Lazy. It seems to be just a prankster," I replied originally.

Reza nodded in understanding.

"Baby, we can finally get married soon. After a long time I waited for that day." Reza held my hands tightly with a happy look.

"Oh yes, when did you buy me a house, right?"

Instantly my face turned pale. How could I buy a house. If the rest of my money is only five million in savings.

"Baby, how about we just get married next year?" I said with a scared face. I'm sure Reza will be furious with me.

"What do you mean, Bagas?" snapped Reza. Her face was angry instantly.

"Ehm... I'm sorry baby because my savings haven't been enough to buy a house," I replied quietly.

Reza talked non-stop, until moments after the girl expressed her annoyance to me, Reza left me on a park bench. It must be that at this time she was sulking again.

I snorted softly, apparently tired too have a boyfriend like Reza. But never mind that later she also kinded it himself.

I took the phone from inside my pants pocket after confirming that Reza had gone away. Then turned on the phone, afraid that there was something important that Yasmin wanted to tell me. Sure enough there was a message from Yasmin.

I opened a message from Yasmin that had been sent about an hour ago. Probably when I was on my way to the square.

[Bagas, come home, my uncle passed away.] write Yasmin's message.
