Zhong glanced at the maid sending her shimmer of death stare. She started sweating profusely and disappeared from there. Zhong wipes off the dried blood from his face and his golden armour but doesn't change his armour or clothes.
He tucked the letter in his waist belt and drank a glass of water. While he will soon be dispatched to the Tianxian Empire he thought of taking an errand to other tents where weapons were stored. He had to see how many weapons got used and how many are left. Also he should visit the healer tent to see the injured knights.
He dashed outside, marching towards the backyard of the storage tent. The guards standing outside greeted him but their faces looked as if they were trembling under their breath.
Zhong glared at them and removed the curtain and saw two of the royal knights of the Tianxian empire disposing of a bunch of papers. He looked closely at those letters from some royalty.
