Maria woke up groggily in an unlit room. Her head felt heavy that she tried touching it with her hands. But something clanged on both of her sides, constricting the movement of her hands. She cast a curious glance towards her sides and learned that she was handcuffed.
Seeing that, the remembrance flooded her system all at once. She wanted to bolt up the bed but she can't at the constrictions. The place she was in wasn't her room in the hotel anymore nor even in any place, she'd know. The walls were painted with monotone grays and black, her bed was soft but it was obviously not for comfortable sleeping. There was a chair and a small table situated beneath the bed and a single door on the right side.
