Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Web of Lie

"I'm sorry." She only said and stiffened when he occasionally poked his clothed part on her ass. "Z-zeronis...I uhm..."

"Relax, I won't do anything to you, sweetheart. Let me gather my wits. Hmm?"

"O-okay. Yeah. Yeah." Maria agreed and once again tried getting off him but he won't let her. "Villan, how are you gonna calm down when I'm hovering over you?"

"Hmm. I'd rather do that with you on top of me."

"That doesn't make any sense." her brows knitted in one line.

He chuckled and gathered her still in a hug. "Is it? Well, you're making me lose my shit. Everyday."

Maria squirmed at his hold, too embarrassed to address her body reacting to the thing poking her ass right now.

"Stop moving, sweetheart."

"I-I can't help it. This is too much for me." She said and unintentionally blushed when he met her eyes. "Oh stop smiling and do me a favor and let me go."

"Give me a minute or two." He proposed. "It's rather cozier with you on my lap."

Maria hit his chest with her closed fist in the hope to make him stop teasing her. She had no idea why he became playful around her that it sometimes disarm her.

Zeronis only chuckled in reaction and caught her closed fist and enclosed it with his. He leaned over her face and captured her lips once again.

There was a smile on his lips when she let him lead her again. Eventually, she gave in to his beckoning to participate with him with enthusiasm.

Maria had no recollection of feeling such a way before over anyone. She had her countless first times with Villan. Whether that was a good thing or not, she really can't bother to overthink and to choose to live the moment.

A groan escaped her lips upon meeting his tongue inside her mouth. It played her sensually as if he was so intent to set fire on her already warming body. Her hands gripped tight on both of his shoulders as if she was caught in a rigorous marathon when his kisses became rougher.

She felt his hands on her hips, pulling her closer to his body that she felt almost crushing against his hold. There was biting, sucking, and exploring happening on their kisses. He wasn't moving his hands around her body but it actually felt so just by his mere lips.

As if his mouth commanded her body to lust after him right there. It was a frightening shot of surprise to her blended with pleasure that it was addicting.

This man was dangerous.

She felt it right on her very bones.

Yet, he magnetized her towards that danger.

As if he was a recklessness she was willing to jump sky high without a harness.

she didn't even notice that both of her hands now traveled from his shoulders towards his head, entwined her fingers on his soft and silk lux.

It was Zeronis's turn to let out a muffled moan when she moved willingly against him

After a while, it was Zeronis again who broke the kiss.

"Yeah, I think kissing you is such a bad idea," he said and Maria knew what he truly meant when she could still feel his hardened staff poking her on her bum. "And we got company."

Maria turned her head to the door and her eyes widened. She felt blushed horribly at that moment, knowing right there that she screwed up.

"I can get used for you to knock first, doctor," Zeronis said, unapologetic for being found out of their current position.

"Please stop stressing out the nurses, Mr. Villan." Doctor Simpson said after he was done checking for Zeronis's condition. Maria stayed seated at the settee and let the nurse inspect for the bandages around her hands too.

"I'm quite alright-"

"For nth times already, you're not well just yet." The doctor lifted his left arm where his bandage was slightly disturbed. "Can't you hold your horses first and refrain yourself from canoodling unsuspecting woman."

Hearing that, Maria blushed aggressively and refuse to look on the bed where Zeronis was forcibly placed by the aides.

A while ago, she was found in such an uncompromising position was Zeronis was gripping her hip to make her stay still when she wanted to get off from him. She wasn't scared of his advances but was alarmed to find herself liking it. Her body felt warm and her clothed part became hypersensitive to the bulging flesh pressed against it.

It was insane how she imagined herself filled with it and stroking her inner muscles with his member.

Like a deer caught in a headlight, she bashfully escaped towards the bathroom while Zeronis was laughing his head off. She washed her reddening face and felt she was warmer than usual. The tip of her nipples and the one below became oversensitive by the mere friction of the fabric of her cloth. That blasted man! She cursed, fanning her warm cheeks.

"I almost died, doctor. I think it won't be that bad to canoodle someone beautiful." Zeronis said, throwing Maria a teasing look. She glared at him and silently mouthed profanity to him.

"Have your fill when you get out from here. And for sanity's sake, stay still or I'm gonna make you." the doctor warned. "Am I understood here?"

"Crystal." He said.

After a while, the doctors and the nurses had already left the room and Maria made sure that she was away from the bed.

"You're making me feel like I have a contagious disease, sweetheart." He said as he regarded her sitting still on the couch.

"You're more dangerous than any diseases." She countered back, "I'm leaving you be."

"Hey, don't leave me alone here." he chuckled when she strode past the bed towards the door.

"The doctor said to rest."

"I won't canoodle you anymore, I promise," he said.

"I have to be in my room."

"It's boring here. Come on, give me some company."

Maria looked at him for a moment before letting a sigh. "Fine. But let's not kiss again."

"For now," he said.

"Not ever again."

"I might have to disagree with that. I like kissing you."

"Villan! I swear!"

"Alright, I'm sorry for teasing you." He chuckled. " Sit over here, sweety."

"You know, I have a name you can call. Your endearment is crossing boundary." She said and walked towards his bed and sat on it. She clicked her tongue when he pulled her closer towards him instead.

"Hmm. Like I said on our first meeting, you don't look like an Arya Montes to me, sweetheart."

"And what would be by name if not that?" She challenged.

"Definitely not an Arya Montes."

Maria had no idea why his words came off like he knew something about her fake name. But that will be impossible since the organization she belonged to was practically invisible to the unwanted eyes. All of the agents belonging there were all ghosts and had been running in operations with different names. Even the government couldn't crack the intricacies of the system of the Red Emirates led by a female world hacker, Nabi Yang.

"Well, newsflash Villan, I've been going by that name since birth."

"Since birth?" He asked, grabbing both of her bandaged hands and running a finger to it. His eyes were intent towards it that it would appear that he wasn't listening to her. He caressed her hand with his own like he wanted to take away all the injuries she incurred from that fire.

"Yeah." She answered, following what he was doing on her hand. She pinned her lips when he kissed her hand and met her eyes.

"Alright. If you say so. I believe you."

"What's the big deal?"

"Nothing."

There was a change of expression across his face like his mood fell all of the sudden as he kept his silence. Though there was a small smile on his lips, it certainly didn't reach his eyes.

"Something the matter?" she followed his gaze when his silence stretched rather long and the humor on his face disappeared.

Zeronis lifted his gaze on her, roamed his eyes around her face. As if he was trying to read her. There was an obvious question on the corner of his lips and yet he didn't word them out.

"I might be tired. That doctor might have put something on the dextrose."

Maria looked up to the bag of clear fluids hung in the pool and nodded. "You probably are. If you must, then you should sleep. You look off for a second there." She said.

"Yeah." he agreed and hastily tightened his hand around her wrist when she stood up from the bed. "Where are you heading at?"

"My room."

"Stay."

"You're being clingy, Villan."

"I've been holding back. You haven't seen the worst part of of my clinginess."

"What a pain. I don't really want to be tied down," she said with a smirk.

"I bet you're hard to catch when you get away from me. So, can't you stay with me?" he said rather seriously.

It took a while before Maria could react to that and nodded. "Fine. I'll indulge you this time." she sat back on the bed and shook her head when he grinned.
