Layla saw how the elf tended her wounded parents to the best of her ability.
"We should go back to the camp. Layla-," Calisto groaned when he can't move due to the severity of his wound.
"Layla will be fine." Hestia assured, aware of her husband's worries. "And I took away her memories of us. So, she won't miss us."
"Masters, I cannot heal the wound. It is so severe." The elf said.
"Is this how our lives conclude, milove?" Calisto asked as he turned to Hestia.
"It's quite a journey with you, Calisto. My friend, my lover, my companion whom I love so." Hestia said until her last breath.
Caslito's face contorted in a mourn before he smiled bitterly. "I'll see you shortly, milove."⁵
