Chapter 18:
Layla collapsed to the rubber mat after a forearm plank for 30 minutes. She then groaned in exhaustion and collapsed on her back right after. Her chest heaved up and down, letting her body recovered first.
She was a bit startled when something cold touched her cheek. She bolted into a sit upon seeing Hunter back in the gym, newly showered and refreshed.
"Water break." He handed her a bottled water which she didn't refuse.
"Thanks." Layla opened it and drank it in one go. She saw him occupying the weight lifting bench, looking at her. Ofcourse such perfection staring at her sweated ass was bound to make her anxious that she also looked at his direction. "Uhm...can I help you with something?"
Hunter stood up to his full height with an extended hand towards her. "I'm hungry. Let's grab a bite."
