Layla's POV (Continuation…)
The playful atmosphere suddenly dropped at Hunter's arrival. Even Raven's arrogant smile disappeared from his lips as he bowed his head to Hunter.
"I'm here in an errand to the king," Raven relayed seriously. "You're summoned in the court."
"Then perhaps you should have sought me first." Hunter said with low growl on his throat. I wonder what he was so mad about that his aura was leaking off him.
My skin crawled as the hairs in every pores of my body went up. I pulled up my shoulders up to my ears when it traveled up to my neck.
"You were busy, Hunner." I interjected since Hunter's aura was already getting out of hand. I can't point out if it was maybe Raven still riled him up over the incident in orc nation or was he just a moody over his work.
Since I didn't see everything about what happened in the test drive, blame it on Rhena, it seemed than an issue arise on the newly produced car.
