HUNTER'S POV ( Continuation…)
"I should consider you taking over the company, Stefan. The meeting won't go well without you." I said when we were heading to the next meeting for that morning.
"I understand why you're unfocused a while ago but rest assured that your mate is well taken care of." Stefan said and pressed the elevator opened for us. "And her being in heat probably had your head floating."
I frowned at him. "And how would you know that?"
"Because I experienced the same to my mate last year." Stefan said.
"You have a mate?" I asked.
"Most of your employees are, sir. Thank you for noticing."Stefan said in sarcastic tone.
I shrugged my shoulders at that. I can't possibly know that about him since we weren't talking anything rather than work for the last years we've been together.
