Layla's POV (Continuation…)
I was heading to the student council office after my second period class for the morning. I heard that there will be a meeting along with the officers.
"Layla! Wait up!"
I turned to my back and saw Kanali, Jira and Maia walking together in the same direction as I was.
"Hey," I greeted them as they joined me.
"How are you?" Jira asked me.
I looked at her in confusion and saw that the three of them seemed to have the same question.
"How am I? Why are you asking an odd question like I went to war and came back?" I asked them back with amusement on my voice.
"Weren't you? You left with lord Hades yesterday." Kanali said pointedly.
"So?" I asked, climbing up the stairs with them.
"We thought you might get in trouble with him." Maia said.
