Hunter's POV (Continuation...)
This got her attention now.
"She broke it? How?" She asked.
"During our relationship, she was sleeping around." I said.
"Sleeping around? Like she had s*x with men other than you?"
"Yes." I said and sighed. "Now, I discovered this hidden document in the palace library in desperate attempt to break the bond between us."
"There's a part removed from the law of mate selection book?" She asked.
"There is and it states how to free oneself from the bond. It's nothing perfect but it made sense."
"So, you're saying that when Pristine was sleeping around, it basically broke the connection?"
"It's the start of it. It won't be completed if I don't do something about to break it completely."
"Why don't you just do it?" She said.
"Hmm." I smirked at her. "It's not that simple. I tried in a hurry to break it. So I dated around for months and I shagged them." I admitted.
