"Chief!" she called out and ran towards the chief. "I didn't know you'd be here."
"Jira called me. You're reported kidnapped and all of your friends are worried. We should go now." the chief said.
"Yes, chief. I'm hungry too." Layla turned to me. I don't know did I even read that expression of her but it was she was telling me to go at once and not argue about anything anymore.
I went to her and grabbed her hand to mind in an entwined. I held her soft and small hand as we started walking away from there.
"How on earth did you kill those?" I asked her and she told me about some impromptu idea she had in entrapping the beast.
"I know it sounds lame. It's the only thing that I can do." she said.
"I'd say it's a very clever trick." I complimented. Layla didn't only have a pretty face but also a brilliant to complement that.
