Layla's POV:
I blinked in awkwardness when that little declaration on mine seemed to have gravitated the sentinels' attentions on me.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't use the fact that you're our alpha's woman. This is a fight that he can't meddle with." Rahla said.
"I am not using the girlfriend card here. I'm saying that I too will fight you." I said firmly to him.
"Someone's desperate to get snap like a twig."
I heard Raven's voice from the back and I saw him snickering along with the other sentinels. I glared at his direction along with the other sentinels. Clearly, they knew that all of us combined, we don't stand a chance at all.
Challenging the king's warriors was stupid itself. So, I can't really blame them if they looked down upon us. I returned my eyes to Rahla this time.
