I sat on the throne and looked at King Arnold, who's face was still pressed to the ground.
"Hey Arnie. From now on, you'll listen to me since it's clear you need someone to guide you. Here's what's going to happen. From now on you'll be under orders from the Blake family. You'll keep your position as king, but you're a subsidiary of the Blake Mansion. What I need from you is to make an execution order for the Rodias household. Specifically, the Viscount and his first four sons. The wife is apparently dead but she's already at the Principality of Aria acting as the middleman for information. Here's a list of documents that relate to the crimes each member has committed. Of course, I'll head to the mansion in advance."
I released the mana arm that pressed his head to the ground. I walked over and placed my hand on his head.
"I'm a good guy right?"
"Y-yes sir."
"Soon you'll realise that I'm working for the good of the country."
I looked at Lady Raika and took out two books from my dimensional storage.
"Here are two techniques I worked on. Improved Healing Magic and Shortened Casting. Distribute those around the schools, regardless of its status."
She looked at me as she took the books.
"Why are you suddenly handing out valuable books like these?"
"War. We're going to war soon with the Aryans and these brats, especially the nobles need to sharpen up with some real experience, not play soldier inside the walls."
Lady Raika paused...and then looked at me.
"Isaac. Are you a reincarnation of someone?"
"What makes you say that?"
"It's just that the way you act and your intelligence is unsuitable for your age. So tell me...us. What is your real name."
I looked at each of them, their faces filled with curiosity. The king quickly buried his face in the ground as I looked at him. I laughed.
"I wish I was a reincarnation of some great mage or something like that. It would've made a whole lot of things easier for me. Sadly I'm not. I'm simply Isaac Blake."
"TH-THEN WHAT ABOUT YOUR INTELLIGENCE?!"
"I've been reading books ever since I was a kid. The experiences from multiple people were recorded in books. Books taught me to change my perspective. Reading autobiographies can change a child's mentalities. Even father began saying I wasn't acting my age but it's simply because I've been absorbing the life experiences of multiple people in my mind and I knew how the world truly was from a young age, how absolute power decided everything."
I started walking away.
"Now then, does that answer your question?"
Lady Raika sighed.
"Yes it does."
I appeared behind her. She didn't flinch.
"Now I also have a question. Why aren't you afraid of me? Everything I've done here should've made you afraid of me."
She laughed.
"I'm too old to be afraid anymore. Besides, if you were hostile to me, you would've shown it so I have no reason to be afraid."
I paused...and the laughed as the words sank in.
"I'm liking you more and more Lady Raika."
With that said, I vanished. After a while, I appeared again.
"Oh right. These guards are your new toys Ash. How you handle them is up to you. As for you Arnie, make up some story about them being assassins since they'll wonder why they disappeared."
King Arnold nodded furiously. Maria looked at me.
"Where are you going now?"
"Rodias Mansion. I've put it off for far too long now. I'll rely on you to monitor the king, if you can please."
She smiled.
"Don't worry. I will."
"Thank you. I'll take my leave then.".
I looked over at Ash who was collecting the bodies in her dimensional storage.
"Let's go Ash! We have to pay a visit to the Rodias family."
I vanished. Ashley shouted.
"WAIT FOR ME!"
She vanished also.
Lady Raika walked over to King Arnold.
"Arnie dear. Don't even think about it or else you'll end up like your father."
"N-NO! I-I WOULD NEVER DARE!!!"
Maria looked at Lady Raika in confusion.
"What do you mean he'll end up like his father."
She laughed.
"Because Michael Blake killed the previous king when he tried to take his wife as a hostage for revenge."
Maria sighed.
"Like father like son."
10km from the Rodias family mansion
Ashley and I were flying through the air at comfortable speeds. It was almost sunset and the view was amazing.
"You have any plans on how to deal with them?"
"Simple. Just deploy a barrier and go wild. I have already contacted the guild to kill anyone who's been guilty of a crime but escaped."
"You sound like a person of justice now."
"I could care less about that. I just pick off the undesirables since no one would complain if they suddenly disappeared. After all, I'm running out of fertiliser for my field."
"The one in your personal dimension?"
"Yeah. It's growing bigger now and I'm cultivating a few unique herbs."
"Gimme a few when they ripen."
We reached the mansion and I instantly began activating the barrier. A huge magic circle appeared in the sky and covered the mansion.
"Void Barrier"
Purple-black flames circled the mansion and they extended to the sky like a firewall. People tried running but the moment they touched the barrier, that part of the body would get torn to shreds. I released hundreds of mana threads from my body and connected it to the innocent members of the Rodias household like the maids and stable boys. I spoke directly into their minds.
{Listen. If you are hearing this now, then it means you have been deemed innocent and are allowed to safely pass the barrier. It will not harm you in anyway since you are coated with my mana. Keep calm and leave. The extermination of the Rodias family is inevitable. If you don't want to be caught in the crossfire, now is your chance.}
Many of them immediately ran towards the barrier. The ones marked with my mana were able to pass safely. Women and children ran through as well as a few men.
"It seems like that's all of them now. Let's go Ash. It's been a while since I've went up close and personal with them."
I opened my dimensional storage and slowly pulled out a giant sword about the same height and width as my body. The blade was black with red outlining it. The handle was covered with white tape and a piece of jade hanged from it on a string. I propped it over my shoulder. I channeled mana into my eyes.
Kansatsume (Observing Eye)
My left pupil became a dazzling white with a black outlining. The rest of my eye turned into a clear milky white.I could now observe the flow of chi in everything.
Hasunome (Lotus Eye)
My right pupil changed shape into a dazzling 3-petaled lotus flower. My iris became blood red. Ashley spoke.
"Hmph I'll be able to do it too someday."
With that, she vanished and began slaughtering the people down below with her daggers. Many tried to attack her but she dealt with them easily.
"Oh how I missed this."
She was in a state of pure ecstasy as the blood spilled around her. It was like she was bathing in it as she slit their necks and gutted their stomachs.
"I can't let her hog all the fun now can I?"
I shot down to the ground and smashed my sword right into the middle of a huge cluster of armed warriors, instantly killing a few.
"Let's have some fun shall we?"
I released my killing intent and began swinging my sword with one hand on the other I used my telekinesis to pull running opponents towards me. As I carved my sword into their flesh, my resolve held firm as I butchered them like livestock.
"Oh my. Look at how you filthy bugs dirtied my sword. Their must be proper compensation now right???"
"Please... PLEASE SPARE US!!!"
The words on the scout reports resonated in my mind about how these people were basically all murderers and traffickers. About how they laundered money and collected high interest rates. About how they abused the name of the Rodias family to abuse people and offset the lives of ordinary people.
"No"
I slashed my sword horizontally, separating their legs from their bodies. Their screams were horrendous as some tried to run away by pushing themselves back with their arms, their intestines and guts being dragged on the ground. I saw one was running away from me.
"Oh? Looks like I missed one."
I threw my sword at him, impaling his back and instantly severing his spine as he was sandwiched between my sword and the walls of the mansion. The groans and cries around me were growing more silent.
"I can't let them die like this. Not yet."
A magic circle appeared on each of the ones who were still alive.
"This should keep you all alive for another eight hours or so. After all, I'm not the only one with a grudge with you."
I walked over to the man I impaled against the wall. He was trembling as he heard my footsteps grow closer.
"Ronald Agar. A former bandit who now works for the Rodias family. Kill count ranges between 500 and 850 and that's only of known cases. Suspected to have been involved in over 5000 murders, 70% percent of which are women and 20% of which were children. Truly an abonimable scum."
I held him up with my hand as I removed my sword from him. I then summoned a rock sword and impaled him with that. I then placed the same healing magic circle on him.
"I won't let you die that easily too. I still have to deal with you properly after all."
Ashley appeared besides me, covered in patches of blood.
"I'm done with my side. Ready to go in?
"Yeah"
