Lady Raika looked at me.
"Don't destroy them yet. We'll send word directly to the king."
"Doesn't an audience with him take a couple of months to get?"
"No it doesn't. Atleast not for Lucia. She can get us to the king in three days."
"Oh...okay."
Lady Raika looked at me suspiciouly.
"Don't tell me you wanted to kill them already?"
"Hehe..."
"Listen Isaac. Don't do anything stupid for the next three days okay?"
"As long as the Viscount doesn't do anything, I won't do anything. Just hope he holds it in."
Meanwhile, in the Rodias Family Mansion, Viscount Rodias' office
A messenger entered with a letter and handed it to the Viscount and left. It read as follows.
[Dear Viscount of the Rodias Family
We regret to inform you that your son has been killed in a skirmish with a fellow student. Rikar Rodias was involved in a feud between the third year Davis Longwood and the first year Isaac Blake.
Yours sincerely
Principal of The Imperial Academy]
He tore the paper and flipped the table in rage.
"THAT DAMN SCUMBAG!!! I WILL KILL THAT BLAKE BASTARD!!! SHARLON!!! GET IN HERE!!!"
It was quiet. Too quiet.
"SHARLON!!!!
The door opened.
"THERE YOU ARE YOU GOOD FOR NOTH...ing."
His heart sunk. He was no stranger to that black outfit which entered his vision. The clack of the stilletos as the assassin walked on the hardwood floor was all that was heard as the Viscount was shaken down to the core. The assassin had her hair in a pony tail. Two long daggers were in her hands which were covered in leather gloves. She removed her mask. It was Ashley.
"Hello there Viscount. I heard you say you wanted to kill a Blake bastard. I hope I heard incorrectly."
"Y-yes yes. You heard incorrectly. I never said anything about the B-Blakes at all."
She laughed.
"So you're telling me all those years I spent training and honing my senses were useless right?"
He was silent. He didn't know what to say anymore until...
*Swoosh*
A finger of his was sliced. He screamed in pain. Ashley spoke.
"That's for wasting my time. Tell me, was my training useless or did you threaten to kill Isaac Blake?"
He wasted no time in answering.
"YES I THREATENED TO KILL HIM BUT IT WAS ONLY JUST A THREAT. A JOKE THAT I BEG YOU TREAT IT AS A FART! VIEW IT AS NONSENSE FROM A RAMBLING OLD MAN!!!"
He was crying at this point. Ashley laughed as she sliced of another finger. He screamed but she put the dagger to his throat.
"Don't even think of touching Isaac Blake or anyone from the Blake household."
She viewed his reaction and laughed when she saw him sweating bullets.
"You're cute old man. This is how nobles should be. It was hard but I spared your pathetic men. As a compensation, I think I'll need three more fingers."
Before he could react, Ashley cut them off.
"I hope this wasn't your writing hand. Depending on your actions, we may meet again soon."
She walked over to the door and turned to face the Viscount and with a smile, she said.
"Bye old man."
With that, she vanished.
Imperial Academy Rooftop
Maria and I were enjoying the night time view as I was lying on her thighs. I had just informed her of what happened after she heard rumours from her classmates. She spoke
"But still Isaac! You should've told me sooner!"
"I just didn't want to worry you with trivial stuff."
"Trivial stuff?!"
She suddenly hugged me. I could hear her heart beating fast.
"DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS ABOUT YOU?!?!?!"
Honestly I was a little happy.
"Damnit you're like an annoying older sister."
I hugged her tighter. I spoke.
"Thank you. It's nice knowing someone cares about me.
Remembering my past life, I was always alone. This feeling that I'm experiencing now is the best. Maria spoke.
"Hey Isaac... What do you feel when you're with me?
I didn't need to hesitate.
"Peace. I feel peace when I'm with you. All my worries just vanish away. Like right now. I just want to stay like this for a little while longer."
She smiled and gently started stroking my hair. Before she was about to speak, we heard a voice speak.
"And what about me?"
It was Ashley. I was so occupied with Maria that I couldn't detect her presence. I answered her as she sat next to me.
"You? I feel thrilled when I'm with you. I can be my true self because you've already seen and accepted the true me."
She suddenly sat on my waist.
"If I make you feel thrilled, then what about your little brother? Is he thrilled right now?"
I got up and held her arms. I whispered in her ears.
"Don't start something you can't finish Ash. My little brother is not little like 4 years ago."
Maria then suddenly grabbed me from behind.
"NOT YET. HE'S STILL TOO YOUNG!!!"
I laughed.
"Who's still too young exactly?"
It took her a while before she understood what I meant, blushing as the clarity increased.
"IDIOT."
I returned to Maria's thighs again as i laughed.
"Alright I get it I get it big sister."
Ashley wined as she flopped down on my chest. I spoke.
"Aren't you getting off?"
"No way. Since you have Maria's legs, I get your chest."
I sighed.
"Fine."
We spent our evening that way and I had never felt happier.
3 Days Later
The three of us were alone in the courtyard walking around since everyone stayed clear of us now except for a few commoners with talents and the odd few who didn't care about the rumours. We were about to sit down by a gazebo when Lady Raika appeared in front of us.
"The letter has reached the king and he has asked to speak with you."
I looked around.
"Then...where is he. I can't sense at him all."
Lady Raika almost popped a vein as she spoke.
"We're getting on a CARRIAGE and we'll GO to MEET the KING."
"So you're saying that I have to meet someone who I could care less about?"
She sighed.
"Damnit Isaac BLAKE! JUST COME!!!"
I looked over at the waiting carriage and immediately teleported to it. Maria and Ashley followed suit.
"WE'RE JUST WAITING FOR YOU NOW LADY RAIKA!"
She sighed.
"I swear all Blakes are the same. I pray he does not have a son also."
She also teleported to the carriage and they set off.
The trip was going to take two months since it's back in Linchestin City, just a few kilometres away from the Blake Mansion.
2 months later, Imperial Palace of Linchestin
I looked at it and felt disappointed.
"This place looks flashy but it's easier to break into than the Imperial Academy."
Lady Raika frowned.
"Don't say things like that. We'll get in trouble."
I looked around and sighed.
"At this rate, I might end up looking forward to this trouble. Might help the king remodel this place."
Ashley grabbed my arm.
"Don't leave me out when you start okay?"
She was slapped in the back of the head by Maria and Lady Raika spoke.
"Don't test me Isaac Blake."
"Understood. I'll keep quiet."
We walked through the courtyard and we were greeted by an old man in a butler outfit. He guided us into the waiting room and asked that we wait to be called. After waiting for about an hour, my patience levels were about to burst when the butler came again and called us in. We walked over a carpet and stood in front of the king. A guard then stepped forward and spoke.
"BOW DOWN TO KING ARNOLD ARMANIA!"
Lady Raika and Maria bowed while Ashley and I just stood there. The guard repeated his words again but we still didn't budge. Lady Raika was furiously grabbing my leg but I walked forward. In an instant, the guards drew their spears. Lady Raika and Maria stood up and were ready to fight. I spoke.
"I give you 5 seconds to sheath your weapons before I cut off your hands."
One by one they began shouting.
"YOU INSOLEN-"
"5"
"HOW DARE YOU DON'T BO-"
"4"
"THIS FILTHY BRA-"
"3"
"YOU DESER-"
"2"
"I'LL PERSONALLY MAKE YO-"
"1"
Magic circles appeared on top of their arms. I snapped my fingers and their hands were chopped off by a wind blade. Before they could scream, Ashley went and knocked out all of them. The king cowered on his chair as he tensed up. I spoke.
"Don't even bother screaming. The room was sealed up with a barrier the moment I came in. I'm really disappointed with my experience here. I won't go into how I, who never cared about you at all was supposed to come here when you were the one who wanted seek me. I'll leave that part out for Lady Raika's sake. Number 1. We had to wait here for an hour before we could come in. This is a matter of national importance and we had to wait an hour before we could see you. Number 2. Surely you didn't expect us to stay on our knees for the entire session we reported the matter right? Surely you had some chairs for us right? Surely you wouldn't be the one sitting while we had to suffer from discomfort right?"
Lady Raika spoke.
"Isaac calm down. He's the king. Respect him."
I became angry.
"The though of respecting him repulses me. The thought of bowing to someone who was given power just because he managed to reincarnate into the right sack repulses me. The thought of bowing to someone weaker than me...REPULSES ME."
I slowly walked over to him as I began talking.
"I'd love to list your management failures but we don't have the time so I'll just list one. The most obvious is failing to detect the threat of another nation. As a king, you have access to every service the country has to offer."
I started counting on my hands.
"Agricultural Department, Merchant Union and the Information Association just to name a few. It's basic knowledge that information is the most vital thing a king should have and utilise. The fact that I was able to find this out before you, shows just how much of a failure you are."
I reached him and grabbed his head.
"You don't deserve to be king."
I threw him across the hall to where Maria was standing. As he tried to get up, I used one of my mana arms to smash his face into the ground, instantly putting him in a bowing position. I took my seat on the throne and sighed.
"This going to be a bother."
