At Willow's mansion,
Tyler was busy discussing the location of the wedding with the inlaws when his phone buzzed. He checked and saw that he received a message from his daughter. The message was strange because she was asking him to come home as soon as possible and that they had an important matter to discuss.
He could not deny the fact that he was quite disturbed by that message. Before he could even start forming useless imaginations in his mind, Jason rushed in with a dark look on his face. Upon seeing him, his mother already sensed that something felt off, so she decided to inquire.
"Jason, my son, what's wrong? Why do you look so perturbed?" Calista interrogated. After all, nobody knew him better than her. He was her everything. Seeing him in that state made her heart ache so much. How could she bear to see her only child suffer?
"It's Amber, she called me and told me that she knew the truth. She knows that I'm the CEO of 'Dreamy Intl Corp'. She also warned me never to call her or see her again and that the wedding has been called off", he said indifferently but with a hint of sadness in his voice.
'Damn it!' Tyler cursed internally. He got demoralized. His dear daughter must surely be fuming right now. Then maybe that's why she texted him. He had to quickly find a good explanation to give her of not knowing his daughter, she might leave the house.
"But son, what's wrong with her knowing that? Isn't it just a minor detail", Calista asked because it seemed like she was the only one that was not tense. What was wrong with her son being a CEO? Wasn't her father equally a CEO? Why would she get mad for such a lame reason? Instead, wasn't she supposed to be delighted? Her son was one of the most eligible bachelors in the whole country. Normally speaking, Amber was supposed to be amazed.

At the mansion,
That morning Talia still woke up early even after all the dramatic events of last night. Even though she was still a little bit sleepy, she managed to get herself prepared.
While exiting the room, she suddenly realized that something was missing. Didn't Xiaobai sleep with her last night? Where was he now? Why didn't she see him in the morning when he woke up?
At the thought of it, Talia rushed out of the room and went downstairs. Arriving downstairs, she saw that Xiaobai and Asher were waiting for her in order to take breakfast.
"Hello Antie", Xiaobai greeted with a smile. Asher who was reading a newspaper, raised his head when he heard Xiaobai's greetings.
"Hello, Xiaobai. Good morning Asher", Talia responded and decided to take the initiative to greet Asher first.
"Good morning to you, Talia. Sit down so that we can start", Asher implied.
Talia had an 'Oh' followed by a sorry expression on her face. Then she sat down on the seat indicated by Asher which was in between Xiaobai's and Asher's seats.
"Then, how was your night?" Asher inquired with a polite smile.
His blond hair danced in harmony with the morning breeze, his golden eyes seemed to glow under the shining sun. Looking more attentively, his eyes seemed to hide other colors too. It had a hint of blue or green. No, it was bluish-green. It looked like she was drowning in his eyes. Those magnificent eyes that captured her. And that smile that looked purer with the whistling of the birds. The way his face glowed under the sun's rays was just the cherry on the cake. His exquisite facial features were so enchanting. Everything was just perfect. He was even more handsome than most A-list celebrities.
Talia suddenly felt her heart thumping loudly against her chest. She couldn't understand while her heartbeat suddenly accelerated.
"Didn't you sleep well?" Asher decided to repeat his question back as he noticed that she seemed to be in deep thought. He thought that maybe she didn't like the bed.
When Talia heard Asher's question full of worry, she snapped out of her daze. She suddenly felt bad for her lack of response. "No that's not it, I'm sorry that you misunderstood. But the fact is that I had a good sleep", she said while trying hard to avoid meeting his gaze still doing her best to stop her face from reddening more.
But her red face did not go unnoticed by Asher. Then after noticing how she was trying to avoid his gaze, he finally understood everything that was happening. He smirked at how his presence was starting to affect her.
Talia was too busy thinking about everything that just happened that she didn't notice the devilish smirk on his face. Xiaobai on the other side saw everything and was still processing all the new data his brain and mind just received.
"Let's continue our meal. Shall we?" Xiaobai decided to end that kind of awkwardly silent moment. Moreover, he was hungry too. He lost quite some blood last night and needed to recover. So after speaking, he immediately started eating without any worry about the world.
Talia saw this and stretched out her arm in order to serve herself when Asher reached out first and started filling her plate with food. When he was done, Talia wasted no more seconds and immediately started digging in.
After breakfast, Xiaobai intended to talk with Asher. Coincidentally, Asher too wanted to discuss an important matter. So both of them left for Asher's study, leaving Talia on her own for a while.
