"What on earth is this?" The box that had been dug out from the basement wall was not particularly sturdy, so Leonard Ethan only needed to gently pry it open with a crowbar.
Unexpectedly, what this box contained was neither wooden training guns nor real firearms, but a dozen hollow steel tubes, each with a bayonet jammed into one end.
"It seems that neither of us guessed right. But what is this, a spear?" Holding a rust-layered hollow steel tube, Leonard wore a puzzled expression. "When did the British Empire ever use this weapon?"
Apparently, this makeshift weapon made of steel tubes and bayonets must have been a standard weapon because the dozen spears in the box were nearly identical, and the bayonets were all standard military bayonets.
"Hold on, I recognize this." After seeing the spears in the box, Pierce was taken aback for a few seconds before suddenly saying, "This is really a Home Guard weapon."
