With the death of Rage his territory was taken back by the resistance. Jade says "John my love why do you fight to retake the land taken by the Demon Lord and his generals?" John says "For justice" Two weeks later John faces off against The Demon general Sloth. John killed them with a stealth tactic obtaining their power and abilities for his own. With Sloth dead the resistance were able to take back the territory Sloth reigned over. Jade says "John I don't think that your method of taking back the world is good you've lost your honor and are being a coward" John says "It has to be done no one else can accomplish this" Jade says "But why are you having me lead the resistance in taking back the land of the dead generals? I want to be with you" John says "Yeah but Blake says it's best if we do it this way so that you gain the power and abilities of the demonic resistance and pave the way for the resistance to take back the territory while I gain the power and abilities of the Demon generals that I kill and it helps me know that you are safe" Jade kisses John and says "Ok my love please just be careful" Two weeks later John uses Sloths teleportation ability to appear behind Gluttony and stab him in the back with a poisoned Dragon tooth blade. However Gluttony survived and used his ability to steal John's power and add it to his own unfortunately he died from the attack to the back seconds later allowing John to obtain their power and abilities for his own.
