"How dare they leave me here. I have to catch up with them!" He spoke as he too also disappeared in a blink of an eye.
Alexander and his men had reached a dark area. Precisely, a city. Standing from afar, the whole city looked like it was shaped in a cone.
Women could be seen in clothing that would likely not be acceptable in other kingdoms. Their lower part of body was covered only with a thin cloth, their cleavage was also covered with a small piece of clothing. Their lower abdomen could be seen and bare backs were exposed.
Alexander gritted his teeth in anger, the thought that his wife was in this unholy place filled his mind. Helena was his alone and no one is allowed to see or even touch her. The thought that those men might have touched his delicate and precious wife almost made him lose his rationality but he calmed himself down. 'She wouldn't let them do anything to her. She's a smart woman.'
"Beowulf dare bring my wife to this place. He'll die..." Alexander muttered but Amadeus had stepped forward to control his prince incase he went berserk.
"Your highness. We should leave." Amadeus spoke and Alexander nodded without saying a word.
They wordlessly moved forward, but before they could take one step further, they halted in their tracks because Bruce had suddenly materialized in front of them. It startled them, except for Alexander who had expected it.
"Y'all are leaving without a plan? This is not your kingdom. You don't have any authority over these people, except of course for you Alexander." Bruce spoke.
"That's why we'll use my authority to our advantage. There's no plan needed, now let's go!" Alexander instructed and they all started moving forward while Bruce only muttered some words. 'sigh....how do I explain this?'
As they stepped forward, the dark city could be in full view. No one could guess if there was day or night. They could feel Alexander's dark aura as they walked through the gates, different people could he seen, half naked. Women and men who seemed half naked were walking on the street without any shame. Well, why the shame? They've been doing this for a long time and it's just like a mastered art.
The deeper they went the darker Alexander's aura intensified. They didn't know how to control it and they could only hope he didn't lose his rationality here as it would be a disaster.
They reached a certain gate and they stopped. They had crossed many gates but they never stopped. Why the sudden pause? The city was huge but if one were to take a look at it from a far distance, they would underestimate the width of this City.
The pause was sudden and they felt like something was about to happen from here. Bruce already knew, as he was good at reading minds so he didn't bother about it.
"Lione.....come forth." Alexander said with closed eyes and before he could open them, a man who appeared to be in his mid-twenties appeared. His ethereal black hair seemed to be shining, his long and wavy hair was covering his shoulders. He was a perfect creation. His purple eyes seemed to show something and it looked like it had glitters in them.
"My lord." He bowed to the one who summoned him. His eyes caught sight of Beowulf and he also bowed.
Not wanting to waste more time, Alexander had started to explain the reason he called for him.
"Lione. You have a specific skill in blackmailing people and although I don't prefer you using that method all the time. I want you to use it now. Create an illusion in the inner part of the city, the luxurious ones especially, create an illusion which you know would be able to distract everyone, perhaps their weakness." Alexander instructed.
"Consider it done my lord." Lione said.
Of course, Bruce was against this so called illusion to distract everyone. If this happens, then all of his plans would be put to waste.
"Alexander, I'm sure you know that's impossible. It sounds suspicious to me." Bruce mumbled.
"It's not impossible. I trust Lione's capabilities." He spoke.
"Beowulf must be aware we're here now and he'll do everything in his power to know your every move. Don't you think it would ruin the plan. Remember, he's one step ahead of us." Bruce said.
Ignoring his comment, Alexander turned to Lione and spoke. "Do what I've instructed of you." He said and Lione nodded and bowed again before he disappeared.
Alexander sighed before he disappeared and materialized in what looked like a dim building. It was shaped in a sphere.
He stepped into the building, it was a luxurious one and he knew that Beowulf wouldn't be able to keep his wife in here but still he needed to check every nook and cranny of this City. The hall was quiet and there was a male servant coming towards him. Alexander knew why he was coming forward and didn't bother to stop.
"My lord which of the most luxurious suite would you like. A woman would also be there to satisfy your needs. We offer the best service, just one word and....."
His words were interrupted because Alexander had given him a hard punch on his jaws.
"Okay I understand. Your preferences is not one woman but two." The servant said.
"I don't need anything. Get out of my way!" Alexander instructed coldly but it seemed the man wasn't willing to move away which gave him further ado that something was not right.
He held him by the collar as he hit his back on a wall nearby. "What do you want?!" Alexander growled and he was about to punch him when the rest of his group materialized behind him. He sensed their presence but it didn't stop him from landing that one punch on him.
"Alexander stop! Stop wasting your time here. Don't you see they're trying to distract you by bringing this servant here. They already knew about your arrival here and I told you they're one step ahead. We have to look for your wife." Bruce spoke and with that, Alexander gave him one last punch before he let go off him but he was caught by Lucas and Lago.
"Since he was sent by the enemies, I might as well get some information from him." Alexander commented.
"If it were that easy, we would have found her by now. It's not as easy as you think Alexander."
"I know, but this is a gamble and we need to try many times, besides, we're not using all of our resources. I'm not foolish to believe what he says even if it's the truth. Like I said, it's just a gamble." Alexander said, not gazing at any of them.
"Leave him to me. I'll call for Atticus." Bruce suggested and Alexander raised a brow.
"Just listen to me. I know what I'm doing." Bruce answered his unspoken question.
