It's my first time in the Lancelot Manor's garage, and I've never seen a garage this big. It's more like a warehouse for storing sacks of rice, wheat, and corn.
Sebastian pressed a button and the metal doors opened. The garage is surprisingly empty, except for the antique limousine, a black car, and an awesome futuristic motorcycle that's just there parked nearest to the entrance. There's still a wide space to be filled up in this garage. I think it can even house a single-passenger plane.
"The garage is ready for summoning, Milord." Sebastian bowed.
I bowed in return and stepped forward. I estimated the right size with my eyes. When I was sure that my computation is already okay, I withdrew a knife and cut my palm. I spread out my wounded hand and pointed at the space of the garage.
"With the power of my blood, I command thee, to summon my Dragonoid Contractor."
As my blood dropped on the floor, a wide magical circle glowed at the center of the empty garage. The magical circle unleashed a blinding white light.
When the flash faded, a gigantic cube of metal that is the size of a bungalow emerged. The gigantic cube is a broken safe, which has lots of cash inside it. It's so many that I think I can dive on that thing and swim in it.
On top of the titanic broken safe is a beautiful silver-blue-haired witch. It was Deva.
"Mission Complete. Everything fell under your plan." Deva smiled.
"Hanna," I muttered. "Are you okay? Did it hurt anywhere?"
Deva somersaulted and landed right in front of me. She had this menacing crimson glare and happy smile as she touched my chin with her gentle fingers.
"I'm fine, Uly. I'm not used to your mana, though. I feel like my blood is boiling, literally boiling. It feels like I'm having a fever, but it doesn't hurt anywhere."
"Let's disable your Deva Transformation then if you're not comfortable," I said as I revealed my left hand, which is equipped with a dragon seal glove. I touched her chest, and her whole body glowed.
Deva's horns and floating swords disappeared. Her full-body bodysuit and fairy dress changed to a regular home kimono. Her silver-blue hair changed to dark blue. The menacing Deva is now back to plain old Yehanna.
Upon transforming back to her original form, Yehanna lost strength on her feet. I immediately caught her though.
"Hanna!" I cried. I felt the warmth and softness of her body as she fell to me. "Hey! You said you're okay!"
"Ahaha, I'm sorry, Uly. I think I'm fine; I just need more time to get used to your mana. I think that's normal, as my body is just doing its job when it detects foreign mana injected into me." Yehanna said.
"Let's get you to the med bay first," I said as I lifted Yehanna in a piggyback.
Despite her assets' sizes, she's surprisingly light. Even a stickman like me could deliver her back to the manor as long as we're only going to the ground floor.
"My hero~" Yehanna chuckled.
"Shut up."
I looked at Sebastian and nodded at him, silently giving him a sign that he should take care of the broken vault and the sea of money. Sebastian responded with a bow for confirmation. And so, Yehanna and I left.
While we walk from the garage to the main mansion, Yehanna rested her head on my shoulder.
"You are amazing, Uly. I never thought that you have at least five times bigger mana capacity than me. It burnt me out, hehe~"
"I only earned that much capacity when I became a Dragon Sage. All those studying grimoires and testing magic for my thesis made my mana bloat like a balloon."
"Where did you learn to do a mana transfer with transformation spell though?" Yehanna looked at me.
I avoided looking at her since our face is so close. My nose would collide with hers if I turned to her, so I just made a straight face while explaining. "It's a Dragon Sage Thesis I've read from an Eight-Star Sage. It's called Deva Transformation, where a Dragon Sage transfers most of his mana to his Dragonoid Contractor, multiplying the Dragonoid's power fivefold. It also changes the Dragonoid's appearance, which works well for our assassination cause."
"Since it's a thesis, then it's already done by other Dragon Sages. So, I'm not the only Deva?" Yehanna tilted her head.
"It's a two-hundred-year-old thesis which I stumbled upon when researching on my thesis. The creator of that spell must be long dead by now. Besides, I redesigned our version of Deva to suit your body better."
"You pervert!" Yehanna pinched my nose. "You made me look like a seductress witch out there! And that bodysuit is too tight! You even let my cleavage and legs exposed!"
"Ow! Ow! I'm sorry!" I cried. "Fine, I'll redesign your Deva form again!"
"No need~" Yehanna finally let go of my red nose. "Since you chose that form for me, I'll stick with it."
Yehanna wrapped her arm around my shoulder and her head leaned to me once again. If I didn't know that she's just messing with me, I'd think that she has bipolar disorder.
When we finally reached the main mansion, I delivered her to the Med Bay for her to rest in a comfortable white bed. I gave her medicine and an ice bag to cool her temperature down. I also gave her a glass of ice-cold water, which she immediately gulped down.
While I let Yehanna rest, I brought my tablet. I opened my social media site and I discovered something that made me smile.
The news is now all about the villainess Deva, who brought down a corrupt government official. The headlines of the news sites are all about our beautiful witch.
"A Heroine in Town! Deva, the destroyer of the corrupt government!"
"Director Patrick Lavosier's sin exposed by a vigilante called Deva!"
"The sexy devil who fights crime: Deva!"
"Deva, the Villainess against Evil?"
Aside from those headlines and pictures of our villainess, some videos are spreading out like wildfire on the internet. Deva's introduction to the world went without a hitch, and that's all thanks to Sebastian who set up the broadcast all around Lavosier's manor. We put up a good show for this one, and as we know, masses love good shows.
"What do the people say?" Yehanna raised her body. She is still holding an ice bag to cool her temple.
"They love you." I smiled. "The masses love allies of justice and vigilantes, and they generally hate the government. More so that Patrick Lavoisier is a well-known plunderer amongst the people. They love seeing a corrupt government official being executed in public."
"That's one down then." Yehanna laid the ice bag on the table and put her feet on the ground. "I trust you and your plans. But would you kindly explain why we have to do that?"
"Do what?"
"The publicity of Deva. We could have just blasted the building and gone away with all the money. I didn't have to make a speech like that." Yehanna pouted.
"We needed it." I scratched my head. "Every time you assassinate a noble, the security keeps getting tighter and tighter. Aristocrats are getting cautious to the point that there are no holes to squeeze in. You've seen how Director Lavoisier set up his defenses. Swiftness and tactics won't work against the likes of him, and I'm sure the other targets will be like that too. That's why we used brute force to demolish his building with him."
"But we didn't have to broadcast me like that, right?"
"The broadcast is for the long game, Hanna. We need the people to believe that the assassination Deva executes is for the common good of the people. Deva should become a symbol that people would look up to. We might even need Deva's charisma as a vigilante for the next assassination target."
"Okay, fine." Yehanna raised her hand in defeat. "You thought out this well, didn't you? You've been Overclocking your brain for the past two days you planned this raid."
My eyes sparkled with magical electricity. "I'm just running simulations inside my mind for those past two days. I have already thought of that plan ever since you revealed the target's name. It all went without a hitch."
