On the other side of the ancient empire of the giants was a small raft drifting as the waves push and pull it towards Jotunheim, the climate was notably getting colder and colder as the temperature dipped. The raft didn't have any hood or roof to cover it from the drastic changes of weather within the Grand Line, unbeknownst to the person in the vehicle as he only just has recently arrived onto the sea, from this point onward he expected to face the challenges of the Pirate's Graveyard alone without any crew of his anymore…
Snow then began to fall onto the waters, and on top of the sleeping Figahro, who was dreaming recollections of his days spent with Moma. He abruptly awoke as soon as the snowdrop landed onto him, "WHO GOES THERE!?" He yelled, overreacting to the coldness of the tiny drop of snow, evaporating it on contact. "Shit, where is this place." Figahro looked onward to the island he was approaching, with gigantic icy mountains stretching further than his eyes could look up, and the coast wide enough to be its own island."Guh-god. I- I've never seen a bigger island in my life!" Figahro ecstatically looked with joy in his eyes, shivering due to the extreme cold. "Without these amazing powers anyone would die somewhere like this.... Perhaps this is a winter island?" He told himself, as he ventured onto the island.
He walked downward from a mountain trail, observing that there might still be intelligent life still on the island, but any resemblance to it was long gone. There were vast amount of wildlife with fur to help them survive the harsh conditions of the snowy area, but then he noticed there were some oddities that seemed to be more suited for a forest habitat.
"Strange." Figahro said with his hand placed upon his chin, "I could use some food right now." Drooling in the direction towards a gigantic bird, Figahro had his target locked down, the bird who's skin matched the white of the snow, looked back at Figahro glancing into his eyes, and feared for its life, attempting to fly away with her children who were too small to fly on their own.
Though Figahro was too haste in his approach to them, he ran like a bolt towards the mother with his eyes blackened and his tongue out, hanging all the way down to his chest. "Run run as fast as you can, I'll still catch you!" He said with glimmer of light in his eyes. As he caught up to them he grabbed the mother, but before he did anything else he saw the little fledglings who looked like they hatched not too long ago, although they were very gigantic almost dwarfing Figahro in size, as he got closer to the mama he realized how huge she was up close.
Seeing this made Figahro change his decision into not eating the bird, "I'd be a devil if I were to tear apart a family right?! DON'T TAKE THIS AS A KIND GESTURE OKAY?! THIS IS MY METHOD OF TAKING PITY ON YOU. KIEKIEKIEKIE!" Laughing as he giddily skipped away from the family of birds. He went through to search for more food amongst the area filled with birch trees, without realizing that behind him the birds were still following him.
Until he heard a sudden growl from what seemed to be a large cat, Boitata rattled around, alerted by the danger coming towards them, then all of the sudden...
a gigantic tiger starts chasing after the family of birds behind Figahro, him jumping out onto the trees suspecting that the animal was out for him, until seeing it was hunting its bird prey. "What... where they still following me?" Figahro leaped out of the tree chasing down the tiger and heated up his fist as he cocked it back then released it, emitting a large erupting from his fist, knocking out the tiger. "Kiekiekie, that's enough to put him down." Figahro said as the tiger's body was sizzling, "Time to dig in!" Figahro grabbed pieces of the tiger's meat and fed some to his pet snake. "Why're y'all following me around?" Figahro told the birds who clearly couldn't talk.
As it started to reach night time, he lit up a campfire with his Yoga Yoga abilities and fell asleep with Boitata wrapped around his neck, onto the gigantic bird.
"Yo, Figahro-" a voice said, cutting off as he looked down at his asleep comrade. He had been trekking this terrain for hours, seemingly looking for something. As Kozuki Katsudon stood there with his left hand in his baggy dark gray pants, his off hand was holding his short sword that was partially removed from its sheath. He looked at the night sky, pointing his index finger at the dark yet glimmering sight. Thinking, he wondered exactly what he should do.
"Training," he said within his mind, unfocusing on the sky as he removed his blade fully from the sheath. Looking around at the terrain, Katsudon fixated on one of the more open spots of the field that he was in. The Bombastic Pirates literally should not have been here. Anywhere would have been more ideal. But honestly, the open freedom and the breeze of the night made it all worthwhile.
Holding his blade, Katsudon uttered, "Katsudon Ittoryu: Kotta Hoshi!" under his breath. As he swung his sword, two slashes of snow, ice, and wind were produced from the blade. The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Tsurara-onna was truly a godsend. It had advanced Katsudon's swordsmanship an incredible amount from his days as a young swordsman under the mentorship of his father.
Sitting down on the dark tinted grass, Katsudon just looked into the sky as he waited for Figahro to wake up for a quick sparring match.
A ginormous snot bubble was popping out of Figaro's nose strangely dwarfing his body, as it pops being disturbed by the movement of Katsudon's training. The recoil of the bubble popping was enough to send Figaro's body backwards pushing onto the mama bird. "Whoopsie Daisy." Figaro woke up, scratching his head. "Katsudon!-----" He paused while sleep-talking, well moreso yelling, then falling back on the ground in a resting position without the cold bothering him, in fact making him sleepier.
Looking over at Figahro, Katsudon began to crawl over to him, checking if his eyes were still open. Standing up, he looked down at Figahro before poking his head repeatedly. "Wake up!-kachichichi.....Wake up!-kachichichi.....Wake UP-kachichichi!" the swordsman continued to yell, slightly giggling after each plea. Quickly, Katsudon slapped him, scurrying off right after making impact, hiding behind a huge rock as his put his hand over his mouth to contain his laughter.
"OI OI OI!! NOW WHO WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO DO THAT TO ME!?!?!?" Figaro said standing up straight with his arm placed out in front of him erupting explosions out of his hand with a menacing grin on his face and his eyes whited out. The birds looked onto the scene as they saw the maniac which is the enraged Figaro, them worrying for who was his target of elimination now.
Figaro quickly dashed, side-stepping back and forth throughout the area trying to find the culprit. "YOU THINK THIS A PRANK HUH?! YOU THINK THIS SHIT FUNNY?!!!!!!" Figaro then started blowing up every single rock in the vicinity until he landed on the one Katsudon was hiding on "FOUND YA BASTARD." Smiling he launched down onto his first mate attempting to land a punch to his gut.
"KACHICHICHI!!!!!!!" Katsudon obnoxiously laughed before coating his sword in ice and packed snow and clashing it with Figahro's fist. "You're awake! Is this the time for a sparring match?!" the swordsman pirate yelled, continuing to smile.
Figaro clad his fist clashing with Katsudon's sword with lava as he continued to push it further onto him, eventually causing Figaro to jump back from the impact of it. He cracked his neck with his open palm now, "Another spar Katsu? smlt." Smacking his lips with his teeth closed, he looked back to the birds that were on the side of the two men.
"I don't think we should disturb the wildlife around us right now to be honest," Figaro told him in a sleepy, monotone voice in contrast with his usual bombastic, over the top attitude.
"Screw the damn wildlife! We're pirates! We kill, steal, and disturb!" Katsudon replied, holding Toketsu Rekka towards Figaro.
Figaro in a sleepy state complied to fighting his first-mate as they do on their usual daily occasions. "It doesn't matter anyways now, I won't forgive your ass for doing that to me???" Confusedly his mind didn't know to activate his battle mode or if he was still undergoing sleep, He starts dashing towards Katsudon with his eyes closed, and tries to swing a right punch.
Dodging, Katsudon went under Figahro and hit him with a snow packed punch. Kicking his captain back, Katsudon began to laugh at his drowzy friend, going to the point to even slapping his knees with joy.
Figaro then decided to awake himself as he scratched his head and rubbed his back. "Time for this to end now." Lava rose from Figaro's limbs as he starts blasting them away at this vice captain. He then proceeded to walk towards Katsudon with an angered look.
