Paradise: Jotunheim ~ April 9th, 1585
"This place is so boring!" Called Pablo. "Where all the battles all the trouble. After the bear, we found nothing so far. No one has come to attack us!" Pablo yelled out into the air "Where are you battle! I am looking for a real challenge aren't you all? Or maybe some treasure or adventure." Pablo glanced towards his comrades in arms.
"Anyway let's find a fucking town. Where is it? We gotta find it soon. So I can get a boat and split off. You guys don't get the vibe I wanna follow." Pablo explained. "I plan to become King of the Pirates and I can't do that as the right hand of someone." Pablo pointed to Lysander. "Maybe we gotta fight sometime or something? I bet I could kick your ass for real."
"All you talk about is battling; can't you talk about something else? This forest just keeps getting thicker and thicker!" Howell groaned as he glanced down at his sword. "If we do find a town, the first thing I'm going to do is buy a new sword; the one I have now is starting to fall apart. That's what I get for just building one out of junk!" Howell continued as he turned around to face Lysander, who was just bouncing up and down with each step he took. "Do you think there's a town here, Lysander?" Howell asked. They had been walking for hours; the forest seemed endless; the towering trees appeared to look down at them; their sheer size made the group insects in comparison; and the smell of wet mud and moss intoxicated the environment.
"Who knows? That old geezer back at the race track seemed a little bit off, the information is shacky but scared money doesn't make money" Lysander responded. He then would turn to Pablo.
"A fight me and you. YAHHAHAHA! I would mop the floor with you meat head!"
"Huh, why don't you like battles?" Pablo snorted at Howell. "But whatever, if you got a better conversation topic then we can talk about that instead." He didn't care about all this money stuff, they had the money, and Pablo was dirt poor. Which reminded him of how the hell was he gonna get a new boat. He didn't really think about that.
But Lysander's words caused him to roar back. "Huh beat me huh!? We can settle this another time. Once we deal with this island and before I go off my own we can fight. If you win maybe i'll stick around. As I said, I can't serve under someone weaker than me right huh!? If we both wanna rule these sea then we can't be on the same side. We need to work on reaching our goals on our own." Pablo gave Lysander a middle finger as they walked.
"We've been walking in the forest for hours, where we're almost out of food and everything you think about is battling." Howell responded to Pablo as he leaned toward Lysander, "Don't listen to him." Howell whispered, "He's probably all talk." Howell chuckled under his breath.
Lysander chuckled with Howell about Pablo, he then would nudge Howell, "Don't worry if he acts out of line we can jump him." He then looked up into the trees, "We have been traveling for some time now, plus it's hard for me to navigate through this dense forest. I hope we aren't walking in circles," Lysander said, still bouncing with his strides.
They continued onward for some more time, all still arguing and complaining about food and supplies, until they reached an opening of the trees which looked to be in an open field. Something could be heard off in the distance but it could not be identified, Lysander would quickly rush over to the sound in hopes of finding a town.
"Come on keep up!" He said to his crewmates as he darted off quickly ahead of them. As he finally reached the open space his body stopped for a few seconds as he froze in fear. He would look back at his crew and signal them to stop following them, for if they were to disturb this place they would meet their end.
"Yeah we have been talking for a long time. We really need to find some sort of town. Like I don't wanna deal with these woods and run into more of those stone-like bears. I mean how can a bear's fur can be so tough? We figured anything else about that?"
With the tree's finally opening, Pablo let out a wide grin. "Yes, this is where we can go! Once we can break through these woods I bet we will find some town or at least get a vague idea where to go next. We can't exactly see what is ahead of us thanks to these thick forests." Pablo Stopped however when Lysander stopped. "Huh, what making you stop?" Pablo glanced out seeing what Lysander saw. "Woah…what the hell?"
Too distracted by his sword, Howell walks up to Pablo "I think the bear's fur gets so matted that it just becomes rock hard." Before he looks up and notices Lysander missing, "Where's Lysander?" He asked before seeing Lysander, but before he could speak, he saw what Lysander was staring at. He froze in shock at the sight because he had never seen anything like it.
As the crew stared off into the vast space their eyes were met with something unimaginable. Off in the distance of the open field was a large nest, that held 3 large eggs. One was covered in blue spots, one was covered in red spots and the other with green spots. But not only that they were protected by the largest beast or creature they'd ever seen in their lives. The creature was larger than the ship and the bear they came across earlier, its body coiled its reptile body around its nest sleeping. Behold what greeted their eyes was a magnificent red dragon.
And around this dragon was a field full of sheep and livestock for the taking. I guess it's true what they said about them, dragons really do guard treasure. Lysander would stare in fear and shock, at the beast if they were to wake it up it would be their ultimate doom.
"YO IS THAT A FUCKING DRAGON!" Pablo grinned from ear to ear as he drew his blades out and spun them out ready to rip and tear the Dragon Apart. "Come on we should not just be standing here we come to fight right!" Pablo spun around ready for them to rush to battle. He was not really that afraid, he saw a way to make a great legend for himself, not the massive threat this dragon was. And his yelling didn't help matters. His booming voice carried the grave threat of waking the sleeping Dragon and turning them all into charred bones.
Howell quickly grabbed Pablo, "Wait, don't wake that thing up!" Howell whispered into Pablo's ear, "If it took all three of us to take down a bear, just imagine what that thing can do!" Howell said as he struggled to keep Pablo from charging toward the dragon.
Lysander also grab ahold of Pablo and would instruct the group to get back behind the tree line in case the beast woke up. "Why would Pablo think he would be able to take on a full blown dragon?" Thoughts like this came and went in his mind as he crept backward, dipping behind a fallen over tree log far enough away for the creature to not notice but still remained in sight.
"Ok, there's no way we are heading back through the woods. But what are the odds of fucking dragons being here? What are the odds!" Lysander said.
"Wake that thing up? What are you scared of?" He glared at Howell. But he did make a good point. They did struggle with that bear. "But we did beat the bear and we did not take that much damage." Then he remembered that Lysander literally was in a coma after fighting that bear. Howell and Lysander pulled him back as Pablo seemed to give up, the reasoning was too strong.
As Pablo was finally pulled back, they could just head back into the woods. But going backward was not his way, he drove forward.
"Ok, what other ways can we go? We are not going backward and Forward is not a smart idea. So we going left or right. You two choose quickly or am I going to go forward."
Pablo did want to fight the Dragon, but he at least understood why it was a stupid fucking idea. So he'd give them a bit of time to decide another way to press forward. If they took too long, then maybe he'd fight it alone. He didn't need them messing with his style!
Lysander would scratch his head with his finger, then he would place his finger on his chin then itching the small baby hairs that grew from it. "Maybe we should just go left, the only path does seem straight but I really don't want to fight this dragon." Lysander would then perch his head through the tree line and look in the direction of the sleeping beast.
His eyes widened as he glanced into the field as he saw another person walking up to the dragon and sheep attending to them. However the dragon didn't wake up.
"Left it is!" Howell responded as he saw the figure creeping toward the dragon, "Hey you!" Howell shouted to the mysterious figure, "Stop right there. Do you have a death wish or something? You'll kill us all if you wake that thing up!"
"If another person heading to the Dragon, do we just let them go and kill themselves? I mean I don't give a fuck what they are doing but maybe you got an opinion?" He glanced at Lysander. "You're the quote on quote captain of this band of three right now. So we should agree on what we are gonna do about this right away. We don't get time to wait around. If that guy runs at the dragon and wakes it up we're gonna get caught in the crossfire. To stop them or run that really our choice."
"I say we head out there! Seeing that someone else is able to get out there must mean it's safer to pass on by them." Lysander would then head for the open field. However, he was making his presence known to the stranger ahead by waving his hands up in the air trying to be as loud as possible by maintaining silence. The stranger only grew in size the closer Lysander approached.
"NANI! IS THAT A GIANT? THIS PLACE IS CURSED!"
"Haha! Food, today!" the giant bellowed, his voice echoing across the field. "There will be dragon omelets! Haha!"
With a thunderous roar, the giant's enormous feet pounded against the ground as he started running faster and faster toward the dragon's nest. The earth trembled beneath each of his mighty strides, causing Lysander and the rest of the crew to stumble and struggle to maintain their balance.
"The giant running right at the Dragon." Pablo grinned. "No way we can stop him! So we might as well jump the Dragon right!" He could hear this guy was gonna make some Dragon Omlets. He might as well join him in the effort. Pablo charged forward rushing to get close to the Dragon. His Form began to shift as he gained grey skin and heavy tusks. He blasted forward as kept his blades in his pockets. He did want to draw them but they were small in this form and he needed all the power of his current form. He needed to find a way to make his blades better suited for his giant form.
Anyway, charging right in he went to rush and stab into the back of the Dragon with his Tusks. Using his body as a Human Car he'd move full speed to ram him "Take this! My Max Power Charge!" Pablo was ready to throw down. His sense of reason he showed moments ago was erased considering this giant went jumping in to fight. No way he was going to be so cowardly if someone here was going to fight! He'd not just sit and watch this battle! He was going to be a Dragon Slayer!
"A Giant!?" Howell couldn't believe his eyes. He had only heard about giants in books, but to see one here with his own eyes, fighting a dragon no less, the Grand Line was a strange place. Howell quickly rushed over to Lysander as Pablo's attack connected, creating a shockwave and waking the creature up. "It looks like we have no choice but to fight the dragon, huh, Lysander?" Howell remarked.
"No! Pablo you idiot!" Lysander would shout as he ran straight past him.
Pablo's reckless attack only tickled the dragon as Pablo was no bigger than the nostril on its face. A large puff of smoke came from the snout as its large green eyes awoke from its sleep. A loud groaning and deep gargling undertone sounded off from the throat of the beast. It picked up its large head as it began to stretch its body preparing to stand up and face the group. Its large body uncoiled itself around its nest as its head would reach the clouds in the sky. Even next to the large giant, the dragon would dwarf him in size.
Lysander watched in awe as he'd never thought he would see anything like this before. He has always heard stories from his family and peers that traveled the seas, but this was on the next level. "Lysander would instinctively start to back up as the dragon made its presence known.
"ROOOAARRR!" The dragon sounded as its trembling voice shook the very air itself deafening all the ears in the area. The remaining cattle and herds began to run off after being scared by the sound. "Anyone got any ideas!"
The giant, undeterred by the dragon's awakening and the sheer difference in size, leaped into the air with surprising agility. With his massive limbs extended, he soared through the sky and managed to catch the dragon by its majestic horns. The giant's immense strength allowed him to latch onto the dragon's head, his grip firm and unyielding.
As the giant's hands firmly grasped the dragon's horns, a hearty and triumphant laughter echoed across the field. His deep voice boomed through the air, a sound that mixed amusement, exhilaration, and a touch of madness.
"Hahaha! Look at me now, you scaly beast!" the giant bellowed, his laughter reverberating in the vicinity.
"Woah you're way bigger than I thought." Pablo looked up at the dragon, even in his massive beast form it was still much smaller.
"Maybe this really was a bad idea", Pablo let out a hearty laugh. "No time for bitch about it now, time for me to kick this things ass." He would begin running towards its tail as he transformed into his normal form. Smaller size against this dragon seemed to be the play, drawing his Dharma Wheel blades they began to quickly spin in his arms. He dashed towards its tail to cut into it. "Hey, Giant what your name man! My name is Pablo Andretti. Remember it well 'cause I'm gonna be the one to slay this Dragon!"
Howell leaped into the air. Using his powers, he wrapped his sword around the Dragon's neck. Howell then tried to pull on his sword, but the dragon was too strong and lifted Howell into the air. "Lysander, I don't think we can take this thing down!" Howell shouted as he was hanging on to his sword as he dangled from the dragon's neck.
As they attacked the beast, the dragon would easily fend off the attackers. Flicking its large tail high into the air it would slam right for Pablo, the giant who was hanging from its horns seemed to be used as a rag doll, the dragon would extend it's long arms grabbing the giant and slamming him into the ground. While knocking Howell down in the same motion.
Lysander would stare in awe still too stunned to move, he'd never seen anything like this before. A passion would light in his eyes "I think I want one?" he thought to himself as he fixated his eyes on the dragon eggs. As he stared at the eggs, he could sense something different about the egg in the middle with Red spots. "That one!" Lysander quickly without hesitation ran straight for the egg, he would move even faster using his fruit and bound release almost getting there in an instant.
However, the dragon would notice his running toward her eggs turning her coiling body around she would reach her head into the heavens and a loud rumbling would come from its belly working its way up the neck. The dragon would open its large mouth and fire would begin to flicker from it, Lysander would look up to see this. Stopping dead in his tracks he could feel an oncoming doom, the dragon would the spew out a blast of hot molten fire from its mouth in the direction of Lysander. "Oh Fuck!" Lysander would try to jump and move out of the way but the attack was too massive. Crossing his arms he would embrace for impact as he was engulfed in a massive flame.
The giant, rising from the ground with a newfound determination, reached for a massive iron bullhook that gleamed in his dominant right hand. His fierce gaze locked onto the dragon's eyes, radiating an aura of intimidation that could not be ignored.
With a resolute swing, the giant whipped the bullhook around in a wide arc, creating a distinct and commanding sound that reverberated through the air. The sound, a combination of power and authority, seemed to have an immediate effect on the dragon.
"Tch this dragon is strong as hell. G...." Pablo was hit by the Dragon and sent flying away into the ground. "My Ribs. My nice ribs!" Pablo coughed out. "Fucking hell it snapped my ribs really good there." Pablo got up spitting out a heap of blood. He was in a lot of pain but he was not going to give up yet. Lysander seemed to gotten burned up too. "Fucking hell. This is not good." They maybe were biting more then they could chew. "Alrighty then time to take this up a notch." His form changed once more into his hybrid form.
He'd spin around grabbing one of the forest trees he had been hit by earlier. "Here goes!" He spun forward throwing the tree right at the side of the Dragon before he ran around it yelling "Hey you big fat Lizard try and burn me up huh." Of course, he was not that fast given the pain. So he was gonna be easy to catch out. But if he drew its focus away maybe everyone else could come up with a much better plan.
The dragon would buckle and try to wriggle itself free from the bull hook but the giant would put up a good fight. A tree would strike the side of the beast, but do to its large scales the tree did no damage at all, breaking apart the moment it came into contact with it. The dragon would then screech as its deafening sound would echo throughout the forest field. It outstretched its large wings high into the air, the size of them were so big that they blocked out the sunlight making the illusion on night.
Howell got up from the ground and wiped the dust off himself, saying, "This dragon is no joke!" Howell remarked as the shadow of the dragon's wings covered him, "That dragon is trying to take off!" Howell yelled, reaching for his sword. Howell leaped forward and started climbing the dragon's side and onto its back using his sword. He tried to stab the dragon's back, but its scales were so tough that they bent Howell's blade. Howell's jaw dropped in shock.
Lysander was standing on his two feet scorched from the dragon breath, he was in a state of unconsciousness. His body swayed in the wind. However his skin was not burned his body was still steaming, however.
The dragon had begun to flap its wings rapidly gearing itself for take-off. Gusts of wind would form, ripping the trees from the ground and crushing more smaller plants.
The giant, seeing the dragon preparing to take flight, knew he had to act quickly to prevent its escape. He closed the distance between them with a powerful charge, his massive form thundering through the field. In his dominant hand, he swung the bullhook in a wide arc, creating a display of sheer strength and determination.
As the dragon's wings beat forcefully, the gusts of wind threatened to sweep everyone away. But the giant was undeterred, using all his strength to steady himself and stand his ground. With impeccable timing, he hurled a massive chain from his left hand, the links glinting in the dim light under the dragon's shadow.
The chain soared through the air, its trajectory carefully calculated. It looped around the dragon's tail, latching onto it with a resounding thud. The dragon, caught off guard by the giant's sudden maneuver.
Seizing the opportunity, the giant began to swing the bullhook around with all his might. As he spun the weapon, he yelled something in a deep, commanding voice that echoed through the field.
"Joor Zah Frul!" The words, spoken in an unfamiliar tongue, held a commanding tone that seemed to resonate with the very essence of the dragon.
The dragon would enter a calming hypnotized state hearing the words of the giants. It would close its wings and stop the flapping, the dragon would then dial its pupils and focus on the giant.
"What the hell why is the Dragon no longer attacking us!" The Wind had blown Pablo far back into the tree's smashing into them and causing him more pain. It really pissed him off as it just stood there. He knew he needed to attack. Charging forward he'd spin his weapons together throwing them forward like Boomerang to arch up it right wing and tear into the flesh. Chasing after it Pablo went to smash down on the tip of the wing, run up it and catch his blade to keep up slashing the creature's wing! "Keep attacking it and it will go down! Take this! My Highway to Hell baby!" Pablo roared grinning from ear to ear despite the pain. He wanted to really turn this Dragon into Mincemeat. One action at a time if he needed too.
"Why did the dragon stop!?" Howell called out as he turned to the giant, "What did you do?" He questioned as he jumped down the dragon and slid down, landing right where the giant stood: "Do you live here? Are you a pirate?" He questioned the large man, undeterred by his massive size.
The giant looked at Howell and the others with surprise evident in his eyes. It seemed he was taken aback by the presence of humans on Jotunheim as if he hadn't encountered outsiders in a long time. Before he could respond, Howell approached the giant, undaunted by his massive size, and bombarded him with questions.
The giant's eyes flickered between Howell and the dragon, seemingly torn between addressing the human's questions and dealing with the ongoing battle. But then, a mischievous grin spread across his face, and without warning, he reached out and grabbed Howell by his shirt, lifting him effortlessly into the air.
"Hehe, I haven't eaten a human in a while," the giant said, his voice low and rumbling. The threat in his words was evident, and Howell's eyes widened with both surprise and concern.
The giant looked back at the dragon, his eyes locking with the creature's hypnotized gaze. . He raised his free hand towards the dragon and shouted something in the same unfamiliar tongue as before, "Praal Tum!"
The large dragon listened to the words of the giant and its body began to sit down like a dog. It would ignore the damage Pablo would attempt to inflict but its hide was too strong even at its wings, after all, it needed to be strong to carry its large body It would still stand very tall with its red ruby scales glistening in the sunlight.
Lysander had finally awoken from his unconscious state. Opening his eyes he would see his friend being lifted up high into the air, he tried to move but something never felt right about his body, something had changed. He would swivel his head over again toward the dragon eggs which were still unguarded. He would now look high into the sky to see Pablo hanging from the wings of the dragon, "PABLO! GRAB HOWELL!"
He knew Pablo was a meathead brute that would do anything for a fight, again his attention swiveled back toward the eggs, "If I could just move my legs I could..." he thought as his body and skin began to steam...
Pablo slashed up the wing but he was not able to fully tear into the hide. 'Is it my blades are they too weak? Am I just too damn weak?' Pablo gritted his teeth in anger and rage. He wanted to be stronger. He was a badass back in the East Blue but this Dragon had them all dancing on strings. They had not been able to defeat this creature but this giant? The giant was able to somehow tame the dragon and put it back under control. Pablo flipped off the Dragon landing with a halt. He could figure out some attack to tear into the beast but what would that be?
However, before he went back on the attack, he was called by Lysander to help and grab Howell. "Got it!" Pablo would kick off the ground and race towards Howell. He was going to save him. That was the command of...Pablo just kept moving. It was the right thing to do to help these guys out. And this giant was going to eat Howell. And this giant was strong he imagined but he was still made of flesh not these damn scales. Pablo kicked off as he spun his blades using his massive strength to push off the ground and rip into the giant's chest. Spinning the blades in a 360 motion the two wheel-like blades. "Circuit de la Sarthe!"
"Hey, what the hell are you doing?" Howell screamed at the giant, but before the giant could chomp down on him, Howell's body began to flatten and flutter in the wind. With his flattened self, he slipped out of the giant's hand. He began to slowly drift down to the ground like a napkin. noticing Pablo, he yelled out to him, "Pablo! Attack his head!" Now on the ground, Howell's top half lunged forward and began to wrap around the Giant's legs, stretching and turning. He appeared like a snake wrapping around its prey. Tightening his grip, Howell prepared himself for Pablo's attack.
As the three of them were distracted Lysander managed to move his way toward the dragon nest and get within a few feet of the eggs.
"I've read about animals imprinting on the first thing they see when first born, I wonder if it applies to dragons." He thought to himself, as he went to touch the eggs with his bare hands. The texture of the eggs themselves was rough and hard like a stone or metal armor, the moment Lysander would touch the eggs he would receive flash visions of hatchlings and a dragon embryo.
The visions would cause him to fall back onto the rest and cause him a massive headache, "Yahhh!!!" He shouted as he rolled on the ground holding his head. Suddenly one of the eggs began to twitch and wriggle, then another, and another. He would notice this and sit up still holding his head,"!!"
Meanwhile, there was a woman who was watching this whole situation unfold, she was off in the distance mounted onto a large black horse with horns.
"I wonder if he can..." The eggs would slowly start to crack and break...
The giant, sensing the imminent danger posed by the hatching eggs, let out a commanding shout in his unfamiliar language, "Yol Ahst Zu'u!" His voice echoed through the field, carrying a mix of urgency and authority.
In response to the giant's command, the dragon seemed to awaken from its trance, its eyes refocusing with a sudden burst of energy. With a thunderous roar, it reared its head back and unleashed a torrent of scorching flames from its mouth.
The intense fire engulfed the giant in a searing inferno. The dragon's attack was so powerful that it seemed to consume the giant entirely, the flames licking at his towering form.
Pablo glared at the Dragon and Unleashed its monstrous fire breath, which torched the Dragon. This battle had gone from bad to worse. Now what were they supposed to do? Pablo gritted his teeth. Spinning his blades as a shield from the fire, he could keep himself safe. But there was only so much he could do as eventually the flames burned at his body and sent him flying into the ground. "GRAHHH!" Pablo cried out as the flames fully touched his flesh. It fucking smelled horrible, and it hurt like hell. Being burned alive and cooked like a full-course meal. Pablo had felt pain, but this might have been the worst pain he had ever felt.
Pablo was not down, though. He slowly got to his feet, taking in a few deep breaths. "Howell, you alright up there!" He called up, hoping he had escaped. Thanks to the Dragon Breath down upon them, he had not had the time. "We need to get out of here. Call it a tactical withdrawal. We are going to get this Dragon back at another time. But your Captain is hurt, and we are just set on fire by a rampaging dragon with steel skin." Pablo really hated running away. It was a coward's move. But he had to face reality. This was Paradise. And he had to get stronger to thrive here. "So if you can move your ass then it's time for us to move!"
The dragon's blast sent Howell flying into the air before landing right behind the giant. Hearing Pablo's plea to retreat, he ran up to him, sneaking past the giant, and asked, "Where's Lysander?" He asked as both of them started running back toward the woods.
As the women on the hill watched Lysander from the distance she would be amazed at the sight. "Do you see that sweet cake? I've never seen a trio of eggs get hatched at the same time."
Now before Lysander sat three baby dragons covered in goo and embryo plaster, A blue one, a black one, and a green one. The moment they hatched the dragons had imprinted on Lysander making them think that he is their mother. They were very large for their age at the size of a small adult dog, they were loud and aggressive as they would nibble onto Lysanders body.
The woman at the top of the hill would then smirk as she saw the babies attack him, "Well I guess it's time for us to intervene." She said she steered her horse down a separate pathway along the hillside she stood upon. With a whistle and a hand sign, a large giant shadow above her flew directly past her and headed straight for the raging dragon attacking the pirates. It turned out to be a silver wyvern dragon flying at intensity toward the red dragon.
"ROOOOOOAAAARRRRR!" The beast screeched as it begin to wrangle the red dragon away from hurting anyone else.
"What was that another dragon?" Lysander said holding his hat from blowing away in the wind as the fantastic beast. The sound of trotting from horse hooves came close to Lysander, as he turned his head toward the direction.
"Hey, boy! That's some luck you got there!" The lady said waving her hand in his direction. She had long flowing black and silver hair that hung past her waist, with beautiful pale skin and red lips. "What's your name kid?"
The giant swung his bullhook with incredible force, creating a whirlwind of power around him. The typhoon-like force seemed to extinguish the dragon's fiery breath, pushing back the flames and creating a gust that dispersed the scorching heat.
As the fire extinguished, the giant's broad smile became visible through the dissipating steam. The bullhook in his hand had transformed from a fiery red to a cool silver color, indicating the immense heat it had absorbed. The steam emanating from the bullhook added to the aura of power surrounding the giant.
"He is here. I can hear his voice." Pablo pointed to Lysander who was hanging out with just hatched Dragon Eggs. That was going to make their problem even worse. How were they going to get out of this now? However, that was when some sort of whistle came out and a Woman riding a giant dragon stopped them from being attacked once more. Pablo gripped his weapons but didn't strike to attack. He decided to let Lysander play this one out. They didn't wanna fight two dragons. One Dragon was already getting them a beating so two dragons? No that was just going to be a nightmare to deal with. Better to wait it out than to cause more trouble. He gave a nod to Lysander and Howell. "I'll let you two handle this. I'll move if they move. But if not I'm gonna let you all talk this thing out."
"Hey! Who are you!?" Howell asked the women but noticed Pablo's nod and stood back, with no weapon to fight. Howell stood behind Pablo, picking up a stick from the ground and holding it tight. "We need to make this quick to know when that giant or Dragon spots us," Howell whispered into Pablo's ear.
The woman glanced over into the woods, "Come on out boys! You won't be hiding from me that easily." She had spotted the two cowards who had run to retreat and hide, she instructed her silver dragon to surround Pablo and Howell.
"You guys are outsiders aren't you."
Lysander would look up at the woman who stood high on her black stallion horse, "Yeah something like that. We were told about this treasure being here, but we weren't expecting this."
The woman laughed as he unmounted her horse, hitting the ground Lysander noticed her extremely large size, as she stood at 14 feet in height. Everything on the island seemed to be bigger, faster, and stronger than anywhere else they've been. She wore medieval silver armor everywhere except her head.
Walking over to Lysander she would extend her hand out to him, "The name is Lexi, I'm the head dragon master here in Jotunheim. And you are?"
Lysander would extend his hand outward shaking hers, he then would be yanked up onto his feet by here. "The name is Lysander, soon to be king of the..."
"LEAHAHAHHAH! That is one bold statement you make there, but seeing your luck with these eggs I don't doubt it."
Lexi then turned toward the giant and the red dragon, "What did I tell your ass next time you tried to wrangle these damn dragons here!"
The giant's voice boomed across the battlefield as he shouted, "The fact that you defeated me in dragon riding doesn't mean you're better than me, Lexi! My dragon was already 500 years old! One of the eldest dragons who walked on this damned land! And your dragon is only 110 years old!"
'Dragon Master huh? That means there are a lot of dragons here. What the hell is this country? We must have really found a gold mine.' Pablo was excited to see what else this island had to offer, but he kept that to himself for the moment. They didn't like outsiders, and he'd instead not get roasted by the twin dragons. So he once again just let Howell and Lysander handle the talking. His muscles flexed slightly as the giants argued. He had a feeling this was going to go wrong, and if it did, he would size up who he could try to take down with him.
"So you're still salty about that race huh? It was fair and square, it's not my fault you picked the wrong dragon." She then would turn to the others, "Lysander grab those dragons and those friends of yours and come with me...The king wishes to speak with you."
Lexi then remounted the large horse and signaled her silver dragon to fly off. She would then ride over to the red dragon and utter words under her breath that only the dragon could hear, the large beast screeched as it flew off following the other dragon close by.
Lysander would look into the forest at his crew, shrugged his shoulders, and would follow Lexi. The three baby dragons would trot along behind him waddling and screeching. He would run up to catch up to Lexi, "Where are you taking us?"
Lexi would smile as she continued to look off into the distance, "You will see..."
The giant looked annoyed at the situation. He lifted his bullhook and put it over his shoulder, seemingly lost in thought. Then, unexpectedly, he started to sing a song, though it was almost silent, like a low murmur. The tune was hauntingly beautiful, and it spoke of a dragon named Belgabad, also known as Belgabad the Mountain due to his massive size.
