Chapter 7 - 07. A human is confused amongst conflict arising

"Affair?" The silvery-haired man questioned with an eye raised and a glaring look. Not once had anyone dare state something so ridiculous with confidence.

To his side, he was pointed to the shaking human with empty packets of creamer beside him, and eyes showing innocence again. "Oh." He said as he covered his mouth.

His sleeve hid how his mouth was agape and slightly happy. If his wings were out they would flap. The human was definitely not being normal but seeing him still wearing his clothes made him oddly happy.

The garments were extremely large and seemed to fit him despite that. "You're a pretty lonely fuck." He could practically hear the sneer of the creature.

He was not excited to see a human. Especially not one who had no clue how much a regular one would avoid it had this been a few hundred years ago to approximately ten years from present.

Gracefully, he dismissed it. The human would be better without him. "The boy was cold, he nearly froze himself to death in the midst of sleep wandering to the terrace, not even paying attention to whether he would fall off."

The sea general seemed to accept that as an answer. "So he even acts like that asleep?" He questioned. Thought are a dangerous thing, since anything could develop.

Happy moments like the warmth of hopes, or the disappointment turned disdain he felt for the future ruler of the sea. He only knew him a day but acted like a life-long friend. Maybe that was envy within him screaming for not being able to be loved despite being a monster.

"Are you two alright?" A meek voice asked as the others turned to him seeing his body practically unable to control itself reaching for a new cup.

At this point the food was no longer, only coffee overflowing. The milky white creamer dripped from the overflowing coffee, soon mixing into a dirty mess on his fingertips near the handles which he paid no mind to as he licked it off, when drinking the coffee completely gone.

No words were said for them to understand a monster and addiction creation was in the progress. "Sorry…" the pink haired boy said as the ravennette remained oblivious.

Perhaps humans losing coffee or not having the luxury of it was better. "Mm what was this called?" He asked as everyone tried to change the topic, despite the air of unfamiliarity rising mixed with secret hate and hidden maliciousness.

Seems likely none wanted to kill the weak creature. Although none expressively told him leading him to believe his own conclusions, they could each tell they were toying with each other. His cloak meant nothing but the merman brought it up purposefully to arouse a response, preferably negative to act as some hero.

The three were interested in avoiding the others, yet staying with the human for selfish reasons. The prince Axul, for entertainment. He, the vampire king, to fill the tundra within his heart despite the denial. And him, the creature, he had unknown motives- just likely to upset him.

"Rael, please put the coffee away. That's too much," the iridescent prince finally broke the silence amongst them first. "We can drink something else later when shopping!" He decided.

Since when were they that close? He could hear everything they talked about in the kitchen and lounge the day prior, they weren't best friends! "Shop?" The human asked tilting his head.

He recalled them talking about library books, which may be close considering the boy never listened. Even to his name. His body felt great and awake, though so maybe he could go shopping.

He felt like he could run a marathon, his heart raced heavily as his face tingled, his eyes nearly saw double from the fast pace of adrenaline the coffee gave to his body.

"You'll need to shower first though, you left your clothes in my room! Afterwards we can do some shopping! Surely they have fish for that tank in your room, we'll get a pretty one! Just like me." He said while complimenting.

He could not go a day without mentioning himself, he noted. He was not oblivious to not feel the tension but could not figure why. The people of his village often shared their limited resource, such as clothing, with one another so why would it be an affair? An affair like a huge ordeal?

"Could we get some pencils then, please?" He asked trying to calm his body down from nearly exploding from his newfound love. "All of mine are nearly broke." He said sadly, they were pretty good.

It was now the scary roommate who spoke. "Look who is having an affair?" He said while smiling with teeth- extremely sharp and white showing. His teeth was like a predator about to sink them to their pest's flesh and devour them whole with no mercy.

"Hmm but I love everyone!" Be smoothly replied while the blue hair man mockingly smiled at the vampire next to him. Seems they were on bad terms.

Like this, breakfast continued with the sea prince stopping him from drinking, while the other two were in silence fighting with their eyes and intimidating and nearly visible presence-aura.

"Hmm it feels weird to eat together. Good thing lunch will be the two of us." The peach eyed boy said while dragging him away and nearly giving him a bruise. He swore that this small child would completely bruise his body with his sheer strength alone when happy.

He felt his body moving along though, not as quickly. "Have you been to the shop before?" He tried to ask only to get a no as a response, and the prince to talk about how exciting exploring would be!

Meanwhile downstairs in he kitchen, a staring contest ensued. "Your thoughts betray your face." He said while getting up and gathering the dishes, trying to elbow the vampire in the process.

"Still reading minds or just a bad guesser?" The king asked with his eyes closed and handed over his plate while easily swaying to the side and standing with no issue.

Annoyed the red-eyed man clicked his tongue. "My guesses are never inaccurate. You of all, should know." He retorted, and before they could further argue he was gone.

He really does not forgive him after a hundred years? He wished he could yell that but he knew he was undoubtedly right unfortunately.

He soon walked off to his own room, trying not to fall asleep. Emotionally he had felt nothing for years and yet his walls opened. Was it the second he heard human? "The old man should of never asked the king of vampires to be a student…" he lowly grumbled.

As he fixed himself to be dressed as king the other two boys were freshly showered and changed separately.

"Your clothes are so plain." The iridescent prince commented on his entire wardrobe again after making him turn. Being a personal dress up doll was no his ideal nor vision. He came to learn.

A large white shirt with a collar, and jeans with a small bag to keep his supplies. Meanwhile, his roommate accompanying him wore a very large sweater with sharks swimming, and Pom Pom fishing rod bait. The thought was honestly horrifying.

At first the shirt was cute until you noticed they were getting rushed up to eat. He wore thin shorts in a lighter beige-ivory in contrast to the darker blue central scheme, with a loose belt.

His sweater was weird. A lot of different things he liked. Overly large sleeves with cuffs that puff. On the sides were string you could see his skin. Wasn't the point of them to cover from the cold since they're sleeves?

He wore a hat overtop, also white with his hair tied in a small ponytail back, despite the lack of hair. He had a black fanny pack and CV shoes, as he called them.

They were branded he claimed which held no meaning to him. Humans do not have brands unlike other species. He had to admit he knew what he was doing at the very minimum with the accessories around his wrist, ear, and fingers.

Within his village wool and other fabrics were limited. No one had time to be a fashion icon. Though that seemed important to everyone else. The king was an ambiguous beauty. The other a true tough man with a very toned figured. The little boy prince a cute child at first glance and second too.

For now he did not care. Money was tight since the school supplied so much. Anyways humans were sparse so looks or marriage issues mattered not. No one seem to care actually.

"At this point I know land fashion better." He declared. As the two of them left, him with limited money, he soon realised just what exactly he meant by that statement, and how he would make him look like a beautiful real boy.
