Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Jess's POV

"Hey people. How are you all?" "Good." "Fine. "Fantastic." "Lovely." All of them answered and I sat down, setting our trays down.

"So, is anyone from this group dating anyone? " I enquired and the girls said yes in sync which made me gasp.

"Spill the tea bitches! How could you not tell us and introduce your boyfriends?"

"Well, we thought it wasn't necessary because you know them." "I do? Whether I know them or not, I need to know nevertheless." Ella shrugged and I started to think about all the boys I know might be their boyfriends.

"You know Sophia's boyfriend too. They are here, sitting with us at this table." Rose continued, which made Ella and Sophia blush.

"How would you know?" "You know, it's hard not to know when they act lovey dovey in front of me." she scoffed and I frowned. "But how come I have never seen them do that? lovey dovey?" I asked, totally oblivious of who their boyfriends were. "Wanna know their lovers?" I nodded my head and Rose looked at Ella and Sophia with mischievous glints in her eyes.

"Sophia is with Logan and Ella, with Diego." Rose said calmly and everyone looked at her with wide eyes.

"Damn! Were we that obvious?" Logan asked, bewildered.

"Apparently not because Jess couldn't find out but what can I say, I can see through things and read people's expressions quite easily. Especially when you guys are mocking me for not having a boyfriend." She whispered the last part, making everyone laugh. She shrugged and I pouted for being a slow-witted girl. She was right. She always knew what was going on in the uni and her surroundings before anyone told her anything.

"Nice joke by the way, I could have almost believed that you can read people's mind." Logan relaxed his somewhat tense muscles after he said it.

"So Rose, do you have a boyfriend?" "What do you think?" "I bet on 'She has a boyfriend'" "I don't think she has one." Ella disagreed and Sophia high fived her. "I agree with you bitch."

"I would say she has one because it's impossible for a girl like Rose to be single." Diego spoke for the first time.

"Oh? Don't be so sure, boy. And what kind of girl am I?" Rose asked him, curious.

"Well, everyone gossips about you and treats you like a queen bee in this school even though you don't show much interest. I bet men who have crush on you could line up in the whole playground." Logan replied with a shrug, as if he was confident with his words.

"I say she is single." Tyler stated. Suddenly, everyone turned their heads to Rose and waited for her reply and I giggled.

"Well, she doesn't have a boyfriend." The moment I said it, some cheered and some slouched, disappointed.

"Yay! We won!" girls and Tyler high fived each other and Logan and Diego pouted.

"How did you know she doesn't have a boyfriend?" Logan asked Tyler and he shrugged nonchalantly in return.

"You know, she won't have time to fall for anyone in the school, at least for now because she is just too busy reading werewolf fictions and swooning over those characters." He spoke with a chuckle and they laughed along with Tyler.

"That was my private life, you didn't have to tell them when no one wanted to know." Rose glared at Tyler and he raised his arms in surrender.

"It was Logan who asked." "Rose, is it true that you read werewolf books?" Ella asked and Rose nodded her head.

"Yep! I love them. I don't recommend you guys to read those books because I am sure you won't give your boyfriends enough attention, swooning over fictional characters like me so just don't try them." She winked at them and we all laughed.

"What about you Jess? Do you have a boyfriend?" Tyler asked and Rose laughed. "Do you honestly have to remind us that we are forever alone?"

"Well, you guys don't look like one. You guys are quite outgoing and pretty." They all nodded. "Thanks." I blushed because I am not used to people telling me I am pretty.

"Where is Shane by the way?" Rose asked as she looked around.

"As long as I remember, he's got himself a boyfriend a few days ago and we haven't met him ever since. Must be having fun without us." Tyler explained and some let out a light laugh.

"How dare that bitch not introduce his boyfriend to me? Is he even my best friend?" Rose pouted, making everyone laugh all over again.

"Who's calling me a bitch?" Rose tensed at Shane's voice making some of us giggle.

"Who else would it be if it isn't your tomboy, bitch?" Rose answered him with the question as he sat next to us.

"I thought you wouldn't want to see me with my twelfth boyfriend to remind you of your loneliness." Shane smirked as he slung his shoulder over hers, making her slap it away and slung it on mine.

"Well, I think that's fair enough. It's a win-win situation, I guess. You've saved your ass this time." Rose said, making some of us giggle and continue our conversation eating our food.

Even though we all just got to know each other, I am glad we met because they are amazing to say the least. All of them are very good-looking, kind, funny with their own unique personality and they just appeared out of nowhere but made my life much brighter than it was.

After chatting, we got out of the cafeteria which was bustling with students to take a short walk around the school to talk about some random stuff because we seemed to never run out of topic when we were together.

All of us groaned in annoyance when the bell rang, indicating the start of the next boring and mundane class in five minutes and had no choice but to bid goodbyes as we went to our lockers to get our books and notebooks.

I wonder who established a school because no one likes it, what did he get from building one?
