"Lads and lasses! Gentlemen and ladies! This morning! Our glorious Emperor Purandar Conomor von Helian has bestowed us one of his countless virtues! That he allowed us to sell 10 Dragon's Tears that could cure Black Blood in the cheapest way possible!"
People cheered to cure their families and friends who Black Blood infected.
"The price of each bottle is," he then pulled out a small note from his pocket, and Sabathran, who just came, started to listen.
"500 golds!"
"What?!"
"500 golds?!"
"This is insane!"
The price he announced made the calm crowd turn into chaos. Some cried for they didn't have enough money to buy even a single bottle of it. Some others started to leave the place, either ill intent or not. And the few rest of the nobles stayed and bought the Dragon's Tear with their money.
Sabathran then came near the person who sold the Dragon's Tear.
"Kind Sir, can you please let me know how to get the Dragon's Tear myself?" asked Sabathran to him.
He faced Sabathran, and it felt as if he was disgusted by Sabathran's appearance before him.
"Wait, are you? Okay, but heed my words, young man," he spoke.
"Yes, Kind Sir?"
"Dragons are miraculous creatures, along with Phoenix, Gryphon, and Pegassia. And both Dragons and Phoenix have the same trait in their part of the body. I'm talking about their tears, you know?"
"But, how about the Phoenix?"
"Phoenix is nearly immortal, they lives eternally, but their numbers are just consistent with my fingers, look," he showed Sabathran his left hand.
"I-I'm sorry, Kind Sir," Sabathran immediately apologized, for he saw his hand with only two fingers.
"Is fine, so that's why you are near impossible to find a Phoenix. But, there are tons of Dragons in this land, and even more in Rigasylva, Hediah, and Ancient Porvala. You must travel with frigates, though, as there are sea beasts once you go to blue waters," he explained the details as he was a professor of a history class.
"But, Rigasylva, Hediah, and Ancient Porvala are the different kingdoms. Can you tell me the nearest location of a dragon so that I can find it myself, Kind Sir?"
"Wait," someone barged into the conversation, he had a sword in his waist, and he wore a cape.
"Commissioner? Care to buy Dragon's Tear?" said him with his hand pointing at the nobles who are in line to buy Dragon's Tears.
"Can't afford that. But, young man. You must stop," he said.
"What do you mean, Sir?"
"I was in the attack force to get that Dragon's Tear, and half of the 4000 troops were disposed of it. I'm telling you this, young man. Stop doing whatever you are thinking," the commissioner told Sabathran.
Commissioner's job is to accept a task people submitted to the City's Commissioner Hall. They tend to fight monsters, gather medical herbs, maintain buildings, clean sewages, and every commission available in the hall.
"Can you stop when your mother got a Black Blood, and you don't have enough money for that?" Sabathran asked the commissioner, and he went silent. Cant answer Sabathran's question.
"If you can, let me do what is necessary."
Sabathran then turned his face to the old man, "Where?"
"The dragons?"
Sabathran didn't answer that question, but he gave his eyes a rugged look.
"I won't stop you. Go to Navarn Steppe, and You should be able to meet Migeywr, the Ancient Sky Dragon of Anger, there. But be careful not to anger him," said the man.
"What may anger him?" asked Sabathran.
"Your fear."
Sabathran then hurriedly went to Navarn Steppe, as the man told him, Navarn Steppe is two days from here to the east. On the way, Sabathran keeps looking on the ground to find him some mushrooms. He got some, actually, and after washing them in the river, he roasted his mushrooms and filled his stomach. He got no proper tools to go fishing, so fishing is a big no.
After he arrived at the Navarn Steppe, he looked to the horizon and only found a herd of bison, several Cockatrice that were hunting them down, and then he camped at the safe place where no monster could attack there; the top of a tree.
Two nights passed away, and Sabathran's food was running out. Out of desperation, he starts to shout.
"Migeywr! Where are you?! Help me! I can't let her die!"
He thought that was stupid, for what reason that Migeywr could hear him and come down from the sky only to talk to him. But Migeywr came.
The animals ran all over the place, escaping Navarn Steppe as Migeywr came down. Ancient dragons and normal dragons are different. Old dragons are treated like deities, while normal dragons are just brainless monsters who hunt out of instinct.
"Human! For what reason you are impolitely asked my mighty to come down of the sky?!" asked Migeywr as he flapped his wings and caused massive turbulence to Sabathran's body.
"Forgive me! But I need your tear! To cure my mother's Black Blood!" Sabathran answered the question with fear.
"You feel fear?! Raaah!" Migeywr spat his fire to the ground, near enough to kill Sabathran, but he didn't.
"How dare you fear me! I am the mighty Sky Dragon! Rejoice for my mighty arrival, Human!"
"Yes! Yes! Your majesty! Hahahaha!" Sabathran forced himself to laugh and erase his fear.
"That's right! Laugh and be happy as here I am, Migeywr! But sadly, human! I can't give you my tear!"
Sabathran choked. He swallowed his saliva, "For what reason, Your Mighty?"
"I am the anger! I can't cry! Go to the Unknown Man's Land! Meet Nithywr of Ecstacy.
"He'll probably give you his tear! But don't expect so much of a Wyrm of Ecstacy."
The wind blew as he flapped his gigantic wings and lifted his body to fly towards the sky. Sabathran was left speechless on the ground. Without having a second thought, he went to the Unkown Man's Land, just three nights by the foot of the south of Navarn Steppe.
