Chapter 11 - TALKING FOUR EYES WITH DAD

Since this time Vin has been looking at someone who is still with his back to him at this time until the man saw Van who had just turned his body so now they are looking at each other.

"Because I feel like I've met someone before Anna."

Of course hearing, this made Vin, who had been silent all this time, immediately a little flabbergasted because he was surprised by what someone who was in front of him had just said.

Then the man turned his face to the other side with both hands looking nervous, while Van who knew this immediately sighed for a moment before finally walking towards his sister.

"Please tell me, what do you know, Vin? Why does my head hurt every time I see a girl that has been filling my head lately."

Vin who heard that immediately widened his eyes and then looked back at his older brother who was currently in front of him with both hands currently touching Van's shoulders.

"Who do you see?"

"I don't even know her, Vin. She is a girl, but somehow I seem to recognize her. Therefore, I want to ask you, what happened in the past and why do I seem to have met other people before Anna?"

Knowing that his brother is currently recalling fragments of his memory makes Vin worried. He didn't want to tell him because he didn't want to hurt the man in front of him right now.

"I don't know anything at all, you better believe me that it's just your feelings."

Van's gaze immediately changed after hearing what his brother just said. Even though Vin knew that the way the man in front of him looked at him was as if he was asking for help and he was the hope for someone to help him.

"If that's true, then why can't I stop thinking about it? The first time I saw her, my heart missed her so much, even though I knew it was my first meeting with that girl, unless ..." Van took a deep breath before finally returning. said, "I knew someone before the accident and met Anna but with my memory gone."

"Brother, it must be because you just feel like you've met her, but ---"

"What though?" asked Van with his gaze as if he couldn't believe everything his brother said. "I firmly believe that there is something you, mom and dad are hiding from me."

Vin who heard that immediately shook his head and sighed with his head down, while Van is currently still silently looking at his brother in the hope that the young man can help him.

If only Van knew what his brother was feeling right now. He felt so guilty that he hoped that no matter what happened one day his brother would still be okay.

It's been so long and Vin has never met the girl his brother loves, it's just that the young man knows that Anna is not the person Van wants.

"Brother, you should go back to your room," said Vin as he pushed the man out of his room. "It's late and you shouldn't be thinking about things like this."

Vin, who had just managed to push his big brother out of his room, now Van was in the doorway with his hands cupped as if pleading with him to make the young man who knew it took a deep breath.

"But Vin, I want to know now. Can you help me? Please."

"Brother, listen to me, it's getting late and you should rest. Calm down, don't think about anything else. I don't want anything to happen to you."

After that Vin immediately closed the door so that now the man who knew it sighed with both hands put in his pants pockets with a listless face.

"I'm pretty sure there's something my family is hiding, but … why did they choose not to tell me? What happened on the time of day that the accident happened?"

On the other hand, right now a girl was daydreaming. As if thinking about what happened some time ago when she saw him after a long time of not seeing each other, she suddenly burst into tears again.

"Why are you crying?"

Someone's voice managed to make Via startled. The girl immediately widened her eyes and then turned and saw an adult man standing beside her.

Knowing this, Via immediately wiped her tears and stood up from her seat, and smiled at John who looked at her with a sweet smile.

"Daddy's daughter, why are you crying?"

Via smiled then shook her head, "Don't think bad first, I'm fine, Dad."

"Yes, I believe that you are fine, but ... whatever it is it must be very painful for you."

"I'm just tired, Dad."

"Is it because of what your mom said?" guessed John who now had both hands on the shoulders of someone in front of him at this time. "Daddy just wanted to introduce him, if you two are suitable, then I will be much happier, but if not, I won't insist either."

"Maybe just being friends is more than enough, Dad."

John sighed and nodded his head with a sweet smile.

"It's up to you, Via. I just want you to be happy."

"Yes, Daddy. Thank you for understanding Via."

"It's Dad's job to always make you happy, Honey."

After that Via asked the father to sit in the nearest chair, and the man agreed with what his daughter said before being followed by the girl who was currently sitting right beside John.

"Via," John called. "There's something I want to ask you."

Via who heard this immediately turned around and raised her eyebrows to look at the person beside her.

"Ask what, Dad?" the girl asked. "It seems very serious."

"This is serious, Honey. I heard it myself from Aldera."

Instantly the girl fell silent after hearing the name of her best friend, Via who knew this immediately lowered her head with both hands playing with the ends of her clothes.

"So ... what did he say to you, Daddy?"

Seeing the change in the expression on his daughter's face made John very sure that Via was hiding something.

The man who noticed it immediately took a deep breath. He looked up at the cold night sky, he began to think of questions that might make the girl understand the meaning of his words.

"Did something happen while you were out with Aldera?" John took a deep breath and then said again, "Because it looks like you're hiding something because you can't tell."

"I'm sorry, Dad."
