After Henko finished bathing, he walked out into the bedroom with a towel around his shoulders wiping his hair dry. Walking over to his dresser, he pulled out a new pair of PJ's and put them on. Scanning the room, he found it to be empty. Walking into the front room area and doing another scan, he realized that Ivan had left his apartment while he was showering. Walking over to the door, he was surprised that Ivan had actually listened to him when he told him about locking the door. Henko couldn't help but smile to himself. Walking back into the middle of the apartment. Henko made his way over to the fridge. He grabbed a beer and walked over to the couch, plopping down. His original plan of getting wasted was gone. Now he just wanted to relax with some can beer. Turning on the TV, Henko tried to find something interesting to watch. Yet, his mind was not focused on what was playing. He couldn't help but think of what Ivan's agenda was. What did the man want? He raped him the first time he found out that Henko was a man. This time, Henko wasn't sure that it was rape since he pretty much consented to it. Yet, the man tells him that he can't sell his store or his apartment. He was told that if he wanted to, he had to go through Ivan first. That made no sense to him. What does that man want from him? Was it sex? If so, Henko knew that Ivan would have no trouble getting a partner. Ivan was a very handsome man. Henko only wished he could see what was hidden under that suit the man always wore. He had never taken his clothes off either time they did it. Why was he even thinking about that? Did he fall for the man? Especially after everything that he just went though. This was not some kind of drama that you would see on TV. Yet, Henko's mind would wonder back to that man. Could it be? Could he have fallen for that cold man?
Henko wiped down the new marble that was placed on the bar. It was just installed today. It looked beautiful compared to the last one he had. Looking around, he saw the bar was coming back together. The walls looked amazing, the painters did a great job. Henko had some furniture companies come and replace several items that were destroyed from before. He ordered some new artwork which he planned to hang once the paint was completely dry.
"We got some shipment for you." A man spoke bringing Henko's attention towards the man. It was the new liquor he had purchased as well. Signing the document, Henko began to stock what liquor he needed on the shelf and was going to get one of the girls to help him put the rest in the back. The way everything was going, he knew the bar would be reopened soon. Ivan had also been stopping in several times to see how everything was going. Henko knew that it was not for the concern of the bar, but to make sure that he was not trying to sell it under Ivan's nose again. Henko had told Ivan that there was no way he could sell it, not after what the man had done to the buyer. Ivan laughed at it like a joke. Henko not finding the humor in it at all. Henko still couldn't understand what Ivan was thinking. Why would it matter if he sold the bar? The next person that had it would give him the fee the man was requesting. Yet, not only that, but his apartment too. Why does Ivan care that much about what he does? It didn't make any sense at all.
"Mama!" Henko heard a familiar voice call out to him. When he turned around, he was faced with some of the girl's that have worked with him before closing the bar.
"Hello girls." Henko spoke out.
"We wanted to see what the new bar looked like. We are really excited to start again."
"Right." Another girl agreed. Since Ivan said he won't allow any of his men harm the girls or the place, Henko called the girls and told them that the bar was going to be back in business. All the girls were excited; he could see in their eyes that they are really excited to start their jobs again. He just hoped that the cliental would be as big as it was before. He may have lost many customers, but they can always make new ones.
"Mama, is there anything we can do to help you out with?" Henko smiled. He pointed some of the new tables.
"I need help on getting everything wiped down. The floors need to be swept. Also," Henko turned to the boxes he had received. "I need help putting the rest in the back." Henko listed off several things. The girls smiled and got to work.
"Welcome!" Two men walked into the Okama Bar. It was the day of opening, and Henko was quite surprised as how many people have showed up. They were packed within an hour. The girls were having fun. Henko couldn't help watching the girls and the men that have come in. Henko worked at the bar pouring drinks for the men. Many were talking about how excited they were that Henko was able to reopen the bar. Many talked about how they liked to come here after work and relax. Henko couldn't help but smile.
"I heard that the gang members had gone after you as well, that was why you had to shut down the bar." The man that spoke was one of the regulars that always came to the bar but kept to himself. He was also the one that told Henko about what the Mafia was doing. Henko looked down at the glass he was cleaning and responded.
"Yes." A brief pause before Henko continued. "They shot up my bar."
"Oh my God Mama! Was anyone hurt?" Another man asked in concern and shock. Henko just shook his head.
